This is just my opinion and my opinion only but I am beginning to believe that there is something very wrong with the way this entire case has been handled from minute one. There are just to many things that go unexplained and unsaid by LE in this case.

10 months now it has been. I believe that PCSO needs to step up, tell what they know, lay the evidence out and go from there. This is just too long to go without anything being anywhere near making sense in the case.

Granted this is all just my opinion.

I agree...I don't think LE has much of anything in regards to evidence. Look at the way the blankets were handled that first night. They have allowed rumor and gossip as well, things they could have possibly cleared up earlier on. I don't usually feel this way about LE, but in this case I do.

As far as the latest regarding Crystal..I really don't see what is so shocking. She displayed a complete disinterest in her children. She has a drug habit. Her boyfriend has a drug habit. Her mother kind of "lied" regard the abuse allegations. I think these are things that any person who had been following the case have known for some time, contrary to her being portrayed by many as a Madonna. I mean....come on.

The only benefit to the Sheffields is that this news is coming out when the majority of the public has lost interest in this case. Ron's dirty laundry was aired daily when the public was still paying attention. The Sheffields reputations won't be in complete tatters, as very few people have followed the case this long. Many people will always believe that Ron beat Haleigh bloody and whipped his children with sticks. Once allegations such as these are made, they always leave a glimmer of doubt. Timing is everything, I suppose. Very few people will ever know that Crystal had really never made any attempt to get custody of her children. They will continue to think that the system screwed her. I find the ruination of people's lives that have been left behind in this case disgusting. And for what? Haleigh is still missing....and those who loved her will be forever suffering.

Yet still...after all that has transpired, I get to come on here and read that Ron is dating an exotic dancer....per rumor. Sick. Twisted. Laywers, PIs and Posters. IMO

I hope some laws are changed that might help eliminate false child abuse allegations by a non custodial parent:

Mandatory drug testing via hair and blood anaylsis with the filing of a complaint.
A parent who has been delinquent in child support payments for 3 consecutive months, or a cumulative of 6 months in a 2-year period would be ineligible for child custody.
This could help eliminate some fales claims while allowing Family Services to concentrate on other cases.

I agree with your post completely and unless LE gave the family an extremely good reason not to talk to media, if I was the family I would be shouting from the roof tops to any media outlet that would listen to me.

Hopefully so, I really thought it far fetched that if you owed a drug dealer money they would kidnap your child but the recent case proves it does happen. As I have stated before all I care about is Haleigh coming home one way or another and Jr safe. Sadly nothing posters, parents or lawyers can do about clients taking drugs. JMO

Each case is handled seperately and has nothing to do with the other. Ronald shouldn't have gone after him when he was trying to leave...isn't that what he is charged with. JMO

Maybe my imagination is running wild and I have been on the Shaniya thread too long..but I had a thought. Do you suppose Haleigh could have been sold off to trafficer's? I keep thinking about Misty's drug binge weekend, maybe she owed $$ to the druggies and Haleigh was payment for it. That may explain why in the LDT on the one question, she was not aware where Haleigh was at this time. I think that was the question she scored closest to the truth on.

And if she handed Haleigh off earlier in the eveining..then there was plenty of time for Haleigh to be passed down the line until Ron got home at 3:15. Enough time for the perps to get out of town before 911 was ever called.

That man that took Shaniya did so in her front yard at 5:30 in the morning...I wonder if this has now become common amongst drug dealers. JMO

IMO it's sick that total strangers got involved in kicking people when they're down. It's one thing to post your opinions on a message board, but it's a whole differant story when they inject themselfs into something that doesn't involve them. Picking sides in a missing child case and making it your full time job to go from board to board trashing them is wrong on many levels. You never know when you may be in their position and I'm sure the last thing you'd want is to be drug through the mud by total strangers that don't know anymore than what they are "feed" through the media and the internet (rumor mill). Then, to get directly involved and trying to get the inside dirt..words can't even explain that. IMO, they should all be charged with interfering with official acts.

As far as the drug issue, a lawyer cannot put his/her client on the stand if they know they will commit perjury; if it did come to Crystal testifying, and she denied drug use, and Ron's attorney had any evidence that would have hurt Crystal far more than it would have helped her, perhaps even in the future.

KP does make one point, I actually agree with, Crystal's current attorney has not filed for a custody change either, if Crystal filed the complaint in part due to this issue, then why is she not moving forward with custody with her new attorney?

I don't remember TN going on an interview taking shots at Crystal, except to say that Ron didn't abuse the kids...but it was KP that drew first blood in regards to attacking a parent.

Ron, as far as I recall still has not bashed Crystal in the media--and what Ron says to Geraldo is not the same as going into court and taking an oath.

I have alway wondered about the Prostitute that Nay Nay and AB knew. They went to a house with her and WBG. I don't know if Misty was there or not. Can't remember. I do wonder if someone at that house wasn't looking for a little girl. And if I remember right Nay Nay got a "new" car after HaLeigh went missing. It won't have any impact at all. It's only an arrest, not a conviction.

Ron's arrest record won't be allowed in either, only prior convictions of similar transactions (if there are any).

That depends if a judge finds the PBAs prejudicial or evidentiary; like in the Phil Spector trial...they were allowed in, and there was no past convictions.

Yes, the judge "could" find that Ron's prior arrest record is evidentiary. He is the one that is charged.

PBA have to be in relation to what is charged.

If Tommy is saying he was all cool calm and not violent, and was just attacked trying to visit his sister, this current action could impeach his character.

His credibilty could be impeached by his charges in regards to theft.

I have read your posts Tracian, we all have discussed the families and there are really only a couple of people on this board that seem to have lost perspective, you are not one of them. There is a difference between following every nuance of information and actually jumping on any suggestion that Ron or Crystal are not perfect. Some of the things that have been said on here, referring to both Ron and Crystal have been obsessive imo. I am not sure the question of which parent is the best is applicable to this bunch, sometimes I think it is a matter of who is not the worst. Why he had them out in the open, is of concern enough, also that he is even there. That makes me wonder if he is a stalker. I thought he was a RSO, so here is he sitting outside of a school loaded? Then taken in by police? How blind is LE in this state anyway?

This was all in his arrest report from a few weeks ago. Very disturbing. I'm also to believe that he doesn't know anything about what happened to HC? Yet, he places himself at the scene of the crime? Months later?

Then, to know that as of Monday night MC returns home to what, more violence?

This is just my opinion, but how could Children's Services not know what is going on and why have those children not been removed? I mean we have articles and it is on the local news about the Croslins and LE knows.

In my opinion LE should have already called DCFS the minute that they found Tommy asleep at the wheel after dropping his son at the bus stop.

I hadn't heard that regarding John Merchant.I know he has mentioned outright about Robbie M being the father of HC.
The WIA guy has covered a lot of this about Regan/KP and Crystal as well as the drugs.I think he got all of it from Cobra.
Cobra is always talking....I think that's what got him in trouble with KP.

Panman, it was my understanding that Crystal and her boyfriend Chad G. have HIS 2 children (by a former wife) living with them.

I don't think you are way off in your thinking at all, Tia Marie.
I have read posters on this message board opine that Lindsy (variously spelling Lindsey and Lindsay) appears to be one of the most stable and sensible in these families. At least she was/is going to school to learn skills that will enable her to support herself on more than just minimum wage. If she is responsible, has any common sense, and is 'straight' ... then she needs to do whatever is necessary to remove her husband and all those other jobless deadbeats from her home - for her own health and safety and the same for her children. Surely after this most recent episode, her own mother and her grandfather will help her. It's my understanding he holds the paperwork on the Tyler street mobile home.

I agree with your post. I will add that I think LE wants this case to go away in the media, but my question is why? I personally feel that LE made mistakes from the very first day and they do not want the public to know. I normally always support LE and I hope I am wrong about them in this case.

I understand friendship and forgiveness, but if my "best friend" did an interview like the one NayNay did, I would never speak to her again...true or not, I would never forgive her for that. Unless she was arrested as a juvenile and the record(s) are sealed, I have never seen anything as to where she has been arrested. As good as some of the searchers on here are at finding things, I think by now someone would have found any records. Course she has only been above the juvenile age for less than 2 years. It's only a matter of time before she is arrested for something unless she changes her friends and gets away from her family. JMO

Also - I am going to put it in list form because that will be easier for me and also easier for someone to add to or correct. I am going by memory from yesterday and this may not be in order. It will be hard to make a hour and ten minute show in short for me at least so I hope I do not bore you to much or anyone else.

For anyone that will get bored and they do not want to help dustyk to see if I missed anything in the show or I need to correct, please skip over this post. I would send it in a PM, but it would take several PM's for me to fit this all in.

I am also paraphrasing from my memory of what Cobra - William Staubs said because not everyone has speakers to listen. This is MY OPINION of what Cobra William Staubs said to the best of my knowledge.

1.) In the beginning TJ Hart said he was just going to turn the microphone over to Cobra ( he may have said William Staubs) to let him tell his story. In the beginning it did not even sound like the Cobra I had heard in the past. He spoke slower and made sense in what he was saying. He spoke about how he was brought into the case from Richard Grund ( sp ). I think you know the rest of this story how he brings in Kim P. because of Haleigh, but I took it mostly for JR. What I did not know and it has nothing to do with Haleigh is if I understood right Cobra worked on the Caylee case also, but he did not explain what he done.

2.) He says after not too many days in the case that he realized Ron or Crystal did not care about looking for Haleigh. He speaks about when the camera's were on they would pray and act sad, but when the cameras were gone there was laughter everywhere.

3.) Cobra says that Robbie Middleton was Crystals first love and RM things Haleigh is his child. He also says that he learns that RM is in the police department. At first he was a deputy and then he was moved up.


4) Cobra says he personally witnessed drug abuse from Crystal and at first she denied it and then said she was going to get help. I took Cobra to mean prescription drug abuse not illegal drugs.

5) Cobra said that he caught Crystal and Jeremiah Regan having s** twice. I remember once was at the HBC and maybe both times were. Cobra insinuated that Jeremiah Ragen was having s** with two women connected to the Haleigh case, which I took him to mean Kim P.

6) He finally got fed up with Crystal and called Crystals dad and that is when he confronted Crystal ( see above I got ahead of myself) in front of her dad, Cobra called Crystal a wh*** and told her that everyone was watching and that her image needed to be clean. He said he had fed the media,etc. or maybe Kim P. ( but Cobra was behind EVERYTHING if you know how Cobra talks) this squeaky clean image. One thing he brought up that was put to the media to make Crystal look better was Crystal had put her wedding dress and even her wedding on hold until her daughter was found. Then while they were doing this, Crystal was messing everything up with her actions.

( This is the only place in this post I will state my opinion. I feel sorry for the man who would call me a wh*** in front of my dad so I lost ALL respect for Johnny Sheffield if he stood there while Cobra did this. I do not care if Crystal was in the wrong or not)

I am sorry, I hope this is making sense and I know it is BORING and my writing isn't helping you dustyk.

7) He said Ron is a drug informant - but, I did notice Cobra did not touch on this subject except for saying that. ( unless I forgot something)

8) Cobra asked Art Harris to come down and film some things. Art Harris would not do it unless he paid him $1,000.00 per day.

9) Cobra borrowed money from FORMER drug addicts. He paid AH $5,000.00 for 5 days of filming.

10) He talks a lot about the FALSE ARREST and none of it was new information. He repeated himself over and over about how police new he was going to arrest Snodgrass,etc. etc. etc. He says he has lost 75% of his income because of this false arrest but A. Harris does have it all on tape and it was not a false arrest, but Cobra does seem very concerned about his court date and did ask for prayers.

11) He talks about some officers are wanting Jeff Hardy out as Sheriff and in my opinion insinuates that some of the officers may not be on the up and up and I am saying it nicely.

12) Cobra says the reason for the false arrest was because the police wanted him out of town but I never understood why the police wanted Cobra out of town.

13) He talks about how he has captured over 8000.00 fugitives and how good he is and the best at tracking people they are. He goes into details about some of his cases and talks about how good he is.

14) OH, I almost forgot, Snodgrass' ( I can't remember his first name) daughter contacted Cobra and took him to a shed and it was full of blood. The daughter of Snodgrass feels very strongly that Snodgrass is involved with what happened to Haleigh.

15) Cobra insinuated that LE took a couple of swaps from the shed with all the blood and he felt LE should have done more. Snodgrass's daughter wants the house luminaled (sp) for blood and the sheds and their 10 acres searched for Haleigh. Snodgrass's daughter gave LE permission and she has the right to ( correct paper work) but, LE will not do it. LE told Cobra he could, but Cobra does not have the money for all of that. He did ask for some dogs to search the property, but LE never did get him any dogs and he can't afford to hire anyone.

16.) By the end, Cobra was himself - FILTHY MOUTHED and asking for money, donations, etc.

17) He broke down in tears and said he was going to find Haleigh so he could look like a Hero to his girlfriend. He was wanting to take her to Hawaii and propose marriage there, but the Haleigh case has broke him financially and now he can't even do that, etc. etc. etc. this lasted for awhile.

18. ) Oh, I fogot he said that while he thought A Harris was helping him and even though he had borrowed the money to pay A Harris. Cobra said that he found out ( I do not know how) that truthteller was A Harris and AH's wife and they were posting against Cobra, etc. I do not know where this truthteller post at and Cobra did not say.


Oh and Cobra is going to be suing people including bloggers if I understood correctly so that is why I added the red text when I started this and I will state again this is my opinion from the best that I can remember from Cobra's taped interview.

dustyk, I am sure you are bored and I have writers cramp..LOL. I know it was sloppy writing and I apologize. I do hope this helps you some. I was on-line when I seen you could not listen, but at the time I did not have time to listen or to type about what I heard. 3.) Cobra says that Robbie Middleton was Crystals first love and RM things Haleigh is his child. He also says that he learns that RM is in the police department. At first he was a deputy and then he was moved up.

( This is the only place in this post I will state my opinion. I feel sorry for the man who would call me a wh*** in front of my dad so I lost ALL respect for Johnny Sheffield if he stood there while Cobra did this. I do not care if Crystal was in the wrong or not)

As to your opinion on JS, I couldn't agree more. No matter what his personal feeling towards his daughter and her behavior were, I think it says alot about his own intergrity as a man and father to allow another man to use that term towards CS right in front of him and not speak up about it. JMO though..

I hope this is just one of those times, but it is a misunderstanding instead. You also said this was not about us posters and this board was for Haleigh and I do agree with you there also, but since you feel like I kinda slapped you in the face with my comment then I feel I must explain.

When I said I wish we had lots more posters here to talk about Haleigh, what I meant was If there was more news, more clues, etc. coming in about Haleigh - then we would have more posters here. Does that make sense to you now? I know what I am meaning, I just can't seem to get it out quite right.

I have been following Haleigh's case since the beginning also. I did take about a month off because I had to watch my baby brother lose his first child, his first little boy. My baby brother and I are 19 years apart and you can not imagine how hard it was for me to watch him burry his first born son at only 4 months old.

I did come back and read for awhile before I posted and if it were not for sickos like Hobbit ( thank God I was not a member there) then I would post his obituary to PROVE TO YOU what I am saying. I came back and started reading about the time the news broke about Hobbit and I would read here and everywhere daily and I posted a compliment to YOU for being here daily when there was not even any news to report about Haleigh. You either did not see my compliment to you or chose to ignore, I do not know which.

Then I apologized to other posters afraid I offended them. Now, I have offended you and maybe others from the words you bolded above and that was not my intentions.

If I did not care for Haleigh and her family and if I had not followed this case from the beginning I would have never came back and posted on the boards because it is so hard after what our family has been through. That is why I read for a long time BEFORE I posted, but I have to keep my mind busy so I felt I was ready to start posting again about Haleigh. Maybe I am not ready yet to post about Haleigh because apparently my words are not coming out correctly in my post.
