We went over the border to the US on Fri. and let me tell you we were peppered with questions and our car was searched, and about 2 minutes of questioning.

Example were do you live? Ottawa,

Why do you live in Ottawa, Huh because we were born there.

State you business in the US, going to casino and out for dinner.

Where are you going to dinner?

Do you have reservations?

No, it's my wife's 50th so we are going to have fun, he checks my passport for birthdate

Where do you work, how long? Told him I was retired, he said I did not ask you that, where did you work and in what capacity?

and on and on....

When he let us go he did say Happy Birthday.

Went out with family on Sat. So pretty much a great weekend.
