I saw this story on NG last night. I agree that it could have been someone who followed them home form Sam's Club, but I would think it would be difficult to follow a vehicle at night. It's hard to keep up with someone even when they know you are behind them. I've done that with friends when they know the way to a location and decide to take the lead. You get other cars interfereing, traffic lights catch the one in the rear, etc.

I wonder if someone could have been waiting when they get home. Someone who knew them and when they would be back. I have found that many times with elderly people, it is neighbors, family members, or someone who has worked on the property in the past who are the culprits.

I can't imagine this having a good outcome. I pray I'm wrong.

I agree...after all this time, it doesn't look good.

From another article:

Skupien, a retired police investigator from Chicago, said he could not comment on the possibility of foul play in the Bishops' disappearance, but said he worried about some of Christina Bishop's friends.

"She had friends that were not the best of people, and it really concerns me," he said.

Bentonville police arrested Nicolas James Johansen Tuesday for hindering an apprehension or prosecution...Officers say Johansen is Christina Bishop's son....

The Bentonville police chief says Johansen misled authorities when he told several different stories that didn't match up.
