Good Morning Kathlb! :seeya: I am hoping for a lot of new info. Some of the past doc dumps have included duplicates of things we have already seen.
While we wait, I found this link in yesterday's thread: http://www.thehinkymeter.com/?p=383 a very interesting read about Casey's activities on July 1-2. Her cell phone pings put Casey in the area of Caylee's remains, Lee's house and the Anthony house at 4:48 a.m.
I posted on yesterday's thread:
The time line could explain Casey's collection of skeleton pics LE found on her computer. Also Tone told LE after he returned from NY on July 5, 2008 Casey was having night sweats. He said it happened 2-4 times (pages 3-4 http://www.docstoc.com/docs/1553039/Anthony-Lazaro-Full-Transcript-Taped-Interview-Casey-Anthony-Case-Documents )
Was Caylee haunting Casey's sleep?
If Casey did visit Caylee's remains on the morning of July 2, what would have been the condition of Caylee's little body? If Caylee died on June 16, it would have been 16 days.
Did Casey actually see Caylee? Would that explain why when Ricardo woke up on July 2, Casey was doing laundry? (page 21 http://www.docstoc.com/docs/1643158/Morales-Ricardo---Statement )
Also on July 2 -
Amy's $400 went missing - page 32 http://www.docstoc.com/docs/1642949/Huizenga-Amy---Statement
Casey made an appointment at Cast Iron Tattoos - page 7 http://www.docstoc.com/docs/1642677/Daly-Sean---Statement

Morning everyone! "Unseen Casey Evidence" music to my little shrimp ears.
Interesting points Des about the dates early in July. I also noticed that cynthia's cell phone calls to casey anthony went off the charts during the first days of July and of course they are both on the computer composing things. cynthia her Caylee is missing and casey her Diary of Days. Something was definetly going on.....

Cindy was on vacation during that time. She probably had a lot of free time not having Caylee or Casey in the house.

I found it very odd that Cindy took a full week of vacation the first week of June, and then another full week of vacation during the first week of July. Cindy's boss Deborah Polisano also told LE that Cindy took a bit of daytime off toward the later part of June (we have yet to see any interview of Deborah Polisano's, however there was an LE report that summed up what she told them). This same Deborah Polisano also is the person who recommended that Cindy see a counselor.

IIRC, Cindy took off the 1st week of June because of her birthday on June 5. Several years ago, DH's employer gave employees their birthday as a paid holiday. I wonder if Cindy's employer did the same.
July 4th was on a Friday. Cindy may have opted for that week off because she would only use 4 vacation days.

Towards the later part of June, George either quit his job or was fired, but I've had a hard time figuring out which days/times he actually did work in that timeframe. At times, it seems as if Cindy has said that George was at work (like during that first week of July), when George actually had no job.

Wow, yesterday I was googling for avatars and this site, Zwinky came up. You can use your own photo to then make a look alike avatar. I wonder if someone used this photo of Caylee to age progress and see what she would look like if she had the chance to age.
Hope they can trace back to see who did it.

i don't trust Zwinky. The last time I viewed it, it said 'cartoon yourself' and showed examples of real images turned into something that looked like illustrations and vector art. When I tried to use it, it simply loaded prefab avatar items that you had to mix and match on heads and bodies that looked nothing like me. So unless someone comes up with a real age progression result, I'm not buying it.

they'll prolly try to hang their hat on the fact that it also says "other organic material" and try to argue that sausage on the pizza is organic material - forget the fact that it says these insects prefer DEAD tissue - not cooked sausage.

I'm with you. The language is easy enough to decipher (gotta know which words to skip and which ones to try and pronounce) but to me, the worst part of all is knowing sweet, beautiful Caylee was laying there covered in bugs and weeds. Little girls don't (usually) like bugs. They're (usually) scared of bugs. And snakes. And sweet little Caylee laid there among it all for so long. I can't help but visualize Caylee sitting on God's knee with him telling her "it's ok sweetheart, you didn't need that body anyway. You stay up here with me." I know that's maybe a little silly bit it's what keeps me from crying every time I read this stuff.
This is a tough read. This Discovery released by the State is clearly in response to the defense saying that they were denied access to the crime scene (spoilation stuff). I am reading, and can visualize how the scene appeared, location of bags, bones, etc. Way, way more information than I ever wanted to know.

Not silly. That is a beautiful thought. It is just what GOD would say!

Interesting speculation out there in blogland on the heels of this doc release that the body was dumped the day of the "here's your f***ing gas cans!". That George saw something in the trunk that day (a bag) and she had to dump the body stat.

IMO thats why she didnt want Dad in the trunk and she made a beeline to get there before him-Caylee was in there in the hamper bag and Daddy would have found her

My quick read and attempt at understanding of that entymology report: I think it is saying that:
1)the insects found in the car displayed "aging" of decomposition from the first insects that would be attracted to ones that would appear a little later in the process and
2) Insects found with the remains in December are consistent with this progression found in the car from June/July. Indicating, I only guess, that the source of the insects is the same -- not likely from two independent sources of decomposition.
I think this is damaging evidence -- because I am guessing (and wildy so, may I say) that is supports Caylee being in that trunk as opposed to a secret nanny kidnapper who put her there later.
Interested in what you all are getting from this document, and I'll check back here later for more informed opinion!

I'm sorry to sound insensitive because I know you all are feeling traumatized while reading the report - but I wonder if this could point to Caylee possibly dying in the trunk and not put there after death... from what I'm reading it seems that's a possibility.

That's what I got from the reports. Just scanned them and will go back but it is consistent with initial placing in the car and a period of decomp consistent with June 19-22 removal rather than a later date.

wow - the report on the coffin flies/blow flies - how is kc's defense team going to explain away the fact that those flies which are attracted to human decomp, were found in the trunk and on the paper towels in the garbage bag? the car kc had total control over until she abandoned it at amscot.
they'll prolly try to hang their hat on the fact that it also says "other organic material" and try to argue that sausage on the pizza is organic material - forget the fact that it says these insects prefer DEAD tissue - not cooked sausage.
and the paper towels? that just creeps me totally out. i wonder if they confiscated garbage from the a's house to see if there were any fly bits on what she used to clean the car? anyone know?
They're not going to be able to explain this away.
It would defy any common sense to try to claim that there was something other than Caylee decomposing in that car.
The defense would lose any shred of credibility if they choose to go down that path.

Note from editor: The documents come in 34 sets of computer files. WESH 2 News is going through the material now and will post information as soon as we can. I don't think they will be able to determine place of death through entomological means, summer. They will be able to date the length of time a body was in there and at what point in decomp, but not to the minute. I don't think there would be any distinguishing between death in the home and placement in the trunk that day, for example. Personally, I think she killed her in the home, in her bedroom. I felt that from the very beginning and predicted that a piece of bedding would be found with Caylee's remains. I don't think Caylee died in the trunk, and then Caylee gathered the Pooh blanket, the laundry hamper, bags, etc. and "bagged her up" in the trunk. I think she got to the trunk in that shape.

Well...did not see where they extracted any DNA from the bugs found in the trunk...was there none or has this just not been released???
This was the evidence I was looking for...kind of a smoking gun if any of the bugs contained Caylee's DNA were actually in the trunk...it is the only thing that would prove that the decomposition in the trunk was from Caylee...as they have not at this point been able to prove it actually came from her...we can speculate and circumstantial evidence would certainly bring us to that conclusion...I was hoping for the proof.
How likely is it that Caylee went missing and was found dead and coffin flies found in her mother's car (that never reported her missing) came from *anywhere* else? Proof enough for this old gal.
What's weird is I don't think the defense is doing any serious work on this case at all, except writing silly motions. I have a hunch their experts want to be paid and there's little to no analysis going on because no one is forking over the dough.

I am thinking she maybe drank it. If you look at the picture of the Gatorade bottle it has a lot of liquid left in it...
What was the reasoning for the duct tape? So she wouldn't scream while being injected with chloroform???
I found an article about drinking or injecting chloroform...
Abuse and addiction
Exposure to chloroform may result in euphoria and therefore
people expose themselves to chloroform by drinking the liquid or
sniffing the vapours (Storms, 1973). Addiction to chloroform and
chloroform-containing cough syrups has been reported by Heilbrunn et
al. (1945) and Conlon (1963). According to Heilbrunn et al. (1945),
addicts tolerated very high daily doses and presented neurological
symptoms and degenerative changes in the brains.
After an intravenous injection of 7.5 g of chloroform, a
patient showed signs of pulmonary malfunction and haemolysis. In
this case, kidney or liver toxicity was not reported (Timms et al.,
1975).

Maybe. Does anyone know if the needle was still on the syringe? Most syringes, except some insulin syringes, have a needle that twists off. That's how you use them to administer oral liquid meds to pediatric patients and you might draw some medicines up with one needle and switch it out with another needle for administration.

If injected or poured down her throat that would've been an extremely painful death I'd imagine. Like being poisoned. Not a nice sleep.

Maybe. Does anyone know if the needle was still on the syringe? Most syringes, except some insulin syringes, have a needle that twists off. That's how you use them to administer oral liquid meds to pediatric patients and you might draw some medicines up with one needle and switch it out with another needle for administration.
Perhaps she injected Caylee with chloroform because she didn't want to go through the hassle of Caylee making noise and struggling as might have been the case with the usual way of using it on a rag and such. Also, with the mouth and nose duct taped, the usual method of applying chloroform wouldn't work anyway. Casey prolly looked for the way of least resistance/noise. Applying duct tape and injecting would have done the trick. Awful. Awful. Awful.

So, if chloroform was in the gatorade, syringe and Caseys trunk, that basically means she poisoned her? Makes sense if Casey looked up chloroform and thought if the body decomposes they wont be able to tell what caused Caylee to die. I cant stand her more and more every time a doc comes out.

and to me, the syringe looks smaller/narrower than the ones used for children's medicine ... the lines of measure on it really look like a medical syringe ... this is sickening :crying:

Me neither. As much as some of us say we'd like to be on this jury, I don't think I could take seeing and hearing the evidence at the trial. <respectfully snipped>
In one of the first death cases I ever worked on involved, my client had crashed into a motorcycle, killing the father/driver and seriously injuring the young daughter/passenger who looked very much like my own 5 year old daughter (at the time - now she is 25). She had sustained terrible disfiguring head injuries even though she had been wearing a motorcycle helmet. It was terribly difficult for me to review her voluminous medical records but I had to prepare a summary for the Claims Dept. to support my recommendation to pay the $1 million policy limits. I literally had nightmares about the poor child.

I just keep thinking of all the stuffed animals they tossed and also George walking down the road with that cooler and what might have been in it. I'm really struggling with the chloroform, too. I can't *imagine* when there are SO MANY readily available drugs or poisons, that little Princess would gather items and make chloroform. Surely there would be proofs of purchase and empty containers of items used to make chloroform. Where is the residue on containers, etc? If she bought it from a lab furnisher, say online, wouldn't there have been need for a credit card to purchase and wouldn't it be easy to check UPS or FEDEX deliveries to the home? Where would she make it? That house isn't exactly a rambler that you could keep much under wraps.

my daughter always gets a sticker after a shot....very common practice with pediatrics and immunizations. how very very twisted. that sticker wasn't a sign of love for a child lost to an accident. it was an exclamation point and finishing touch to a sadistic plan. but the defense will try to trivialize it all (and trivialze caylee in the process) and the anthony's will just try to work the money making angle of the sympathy they will surely receive (not that they will truly receive sympathy....not for these active advocates of such a cold monster).

Can you imagine knowing this and still going on a cruise???
Also from that article:
A report generated in June and labeled "Summary of results" by Dr. Michael Rickenbach of the FBI indicates chemical tests show the syringe contained chloroform, testosterone, ethanol and water.
That's gotta be a pre-mix, don't you think? Find what that mix is for and I'll bet that is a huge piece of info.

Maybe she threw in some of George's hair loss product, you know he probably uses it to maintain his "mane". She probably went through the medicine cabinet and scooped up all kinds of stuff.
Is it possible that in the bowels of the Anthony home or garage there was an old bottle of chloroform, like from many many years back? Who knows why but maybe they had it for a purpose once upon a time.
Gack! Now I need to find a list of all the meds they found in that house of horrors.
(Sorry I haven't answered some who have posted to me. I'm getting a bunch of phone calls today and I'm scattered about.)

Off the wall question here but is testosterone in steroids? A lot of medicines have steroids, I even have a rash cream with a small amount in it. So it could've come from a normal family's medicine cabinet.

Very interesting! And thank you for the link upthread. These Anthony people....just strange.
Oh their not just strange their CRIMINALS! They better be charged with coverup, or I'm gonna be mad for a looooong time.
Hows that smell working on ya George? Did the Ocean breeze put it out of your head for a day or two? There's no way you were at the tail light of the car during the 3rd week of june and not see or smell anything.
Dont worry Anthony's you will all be together again, just not at hopesring Drive.
Chloroform in the trunk. Check
Chloroform with the remains. Check
Chloroform on the computer. Check.
Hows that dog- plant research going, Cindy?
but where in the heck did she get the chloroform from? Can you just run out and buy a bottle of chloroform?...........I think NOT!

Seriously, I go up and say I want 30 3cc 22 gauge, 1 inch needle syringes and they don't bat an eye. I used to have gestational diabetes, too and had to take insulin and I bought insulin syringes by the bag. No RX.
My sister is a nurse and gets syringes for penicillin to treat her dogs for kennel cough ... it's easier than you would think ... she works in a nursing home and penicillin ordered for a patient who passed away is also easy to come by ...

I know no one seen her do it but my goodness what elce to they need. all i need was the 31 days. I think if i was g and c and lee i would leave the country now after what a fool they have made of them selfs. the def.lawyers need to just stop all the talk and go home. the money is the only reason they or in this anyway. how can g and c show their faces now.i just don;t know how they live with them selfs and look other people in the eyes.now is the time for them to face up to the facts of what casey has done and stand up for CAYLEE. jmho:wub:

My mind turns to that conversation in jail when Casey says "I haven't said anything" and if she is holding back it sure wasn't to protect Cindy or the family. Whatever that *thing* is that Casey didn't tell is something that would incriminate her in the murder and just happens to be something Cindy wants hidden as well. For instance chloroform. Is it possible, just possible, that if that agent was used on Caylee that it was also used for a bad purpose by Cindy once upon a time? (I'm not talking murder, just maybe putting someone to sleep once in a while?)
I dunno, Cindy strikes me as someone with just enough knowledge of medicine to be dangerous. Coupled with her arrogance and "I know best" attitude and "no one can tell me I'm not the smartest person on the planet" demeanor, well, maybe she pulled some bad medical tricks out of her hat while the kids were growing up.
I know it's out there and just my mind rumbling but...

Does anyone remember, when the word chloroform first came up in this case, it was stated that Cindy once worked for an orthopedic surgeon and that chloroform is used in cast making and that Cindy might have had access to it from that particular job?
I don't know if this was ever confirmed or not. Anyone else remember that?
Thanks everyone for describing the documents today. I don't have the stomach to read them, though. It is a very difficult day, learning about all these new facts.

Now I definitely think she was cholorforming Caylee so when she wanted her to sleep so KC could go out and party ... I think she probably already had it made when she decided to inject Caylee with her final dose ...
DP by lethal injection for KC is too humane !! I say she should die the death poor, little defenseless Caylee died ....

I highly doubt it JB. Unless you aspirate with the syringe, which there would be no reason to do so if you're trying to kill someone, a persons cells wouldn't be in the syringe. Even if blood were aspirated, you would need a healthy supply to get a testosterone level. IMO.

well, i'm thinking that if i'm a guy shooting myself up with steroids, i'm not gonna use a glove. and with that syringe in a bottle, there should be someone's prints on it. now, if i'm using that syringe to perpetrate a crime, i'm going to wear gloves, and leave no prints. but then, i wouldn't leave that syringe where i leave the body. unless i find the whole process of dumping it way to inconvenient and just want to be done with it. or if i dump it all in a panic. and i agree with your statement on the chances...i don't believe in coincidence.

Where did she get the syringe? cindys work maybe?
Is it possible she tried to get Caylee to drink it from the tainted sports drink and when she probably made a face and refused gave her the needle?
This is kind of gruesome but when I saw syringe and bottle both containing traces of chloroform my first thought was a flashback to detective shows, where a person tampers with a drink by using a syringe so that the safety seal isn't broken. It made me wonder if maybe Casey injected the bottle with it, then left Caylee with Cindy, and Cindy gave Caylee the sports drink, maybe something she just regularly liked...it would have devastated Cindy to know that the child died in her care, something that Casey would have gotten a sick kick out of. :crying:

I'm confused. Is testosterone a byproduct of chloroform or the other way around. There was quite a bit of chloroform found in the trunk of the car, iirc. If this was from steroids - aren't those usually in pill form? Why would someone be carrying around enough liquid steriods to contaminate, not only the syringe, soft drink and doll, but also areas on the floor of the trunk? Seems like chloroform is the culprit.
