Good morning everyone! The defense has their job to do, and will no doubt get used to hearing a lot of "denied" from Judge Strickland. Perhaps by the time that the trial finally gets underway, Casey will have been made to realize that she will not only be held accountable for her actions, but will also have to endure the punishment handed down to her by the jury/judge.
For now, society is safe from Casey and her wicked ways.

IMO there should be no one that can get past the fact that Casey
never reported her daughter missing...Cindy reported Caylee missing after 31 days.
No Casey partied, stole and bought clothes and got a tattoo etc. all while Caylee was "missing."
That fact alone I hope is mentioned every day of the trial just in case some juror could possibly forget and imagine how any mother could do what Casey did.
I also do not understand how anyone could even suggest that another did this horrible deed just with all that most of us know already ....goodness knows what has not been released.
Heck Cindy and George do not even believe another person murdered
Caylee...they might say it but they continue to tell
Stories that if they even thought about it make them look so foolish.

That 31 days is a biggie. The numerous lies to friends, family, and LE about the whereabouts of Caylee is another. And, I can think of absolutely no way that the defense will be able to explain away the smell of a dead body in the trunk of Casey's car. In my way of thinking, those three elements directly links Casey to Caylee's death.
And, I do hope that a Jury will hear about Casey "selling" pictures of the Caylee after her death.

Baez seems to think or pretend they have something really big they plan to pull out of their hat when it comes to trial.
That makes him the worse defense attorney. With that, I sure wouldn't hire him to defend me. If I was sitting in jail for as long as Casey and my attorney was out there spewing this, I would be so angry that a trial was not already set for me. Baez is hoping for a miracle.

Great, because as soon as they start that in the courtroom that leaves the door wide open for the prosecutors to lay out what George and Cindy did to get rid of those missing pieces. Step by step the jury will hear how the car was cleaned out and with what chemicals. And a lot more. BRING IT ON because by the end of the trial the whole world is going to want the heads of these grieving grandparents on a stick. Jury selection is going to critical in this case. We need jurors with common sense who can think about the evidence that is presented, specifically why it is that cynthia and george cleaned out that death smelling car so thoroughly and why cynthia and george searched their own backyard, looking UNDER Caylee's playhouse.
I know I am looking forward to those explanations, and they better be REASONABLE.

Fortunately for justice in this case there are so many occurrences that defy logic, stronger than competing forensic experts, just everyday common sense, human nature things, she will not get away with this crime, and neither will her parents.
Unless there's a rogue juror who grew up under a rock or was raised in the woods by bears - or if there's one who wants to be a contrarian to the max.
If one of these somehow gets on the jury then there will be a re-trial and a re-trial after that. I truly believe there's no way Casey or her parents are going to escape justice. For once in their miserable lives they're going to be met by an unmoveable force.
I think the judge will keep things on track overall, once the trial starts. I try to have faith in the community too - even though after OJ it's not always easy. Keep hope alive!

Well, something is definately "off" about those two pages. I also noticed that DTennis stated that DCasey was "hired" by George and Cindy on Oct 17th. When in fact, the "contract" that I saw, wasn't signed until Oct 31. Sounds like a "lie" to the court, IMO.
DCasey never signed any agreement with NeJame, or even Conway, as far as I've detected. Not quite sure where he is getting that he worked for "legal teams representing George and Cindy." How can any "legal privilege" attach to George or Cindy?

Casey has had over a year to witness the foolhardy words and actions of Baez, other attorney's, and the public's negative opinion of Jose and his ability as an attorney. If he chooses to take any advise from Baez there is no hope for the man, and he can count on finding himself up the creek without a paddle. But then again, birds of a feather........

I keep wondering about the 'being paid' part, and I wouldn't be in the least shocked to learn this is true. Yes, I think Tennis will find Strickland is not a rollover Judge like Rodriquez. He will want to see facts/proof of what is being claimed. "Ugly coping" implies that one has been affected by a tragedy.
If that tragedy was Caylee's death, then Casey must have done it, as nobody else was ugly coping.
If that tragedy was a kidnapping by Invisi-nanny, then Casey should have reported it to LE (or shared it with someone else) and ~then~ proceeded to ugly cope.

I so agree w/everything that you wrote in your post. Putting all the forensics aside, I would also like to add that I would find it hard to believe that a truly innocent mother would sit in jail and not tell the authorities exactly what happened to their daughter the last time she saw her. How did she get out of her possession? Who took her? I know that a defendant has the right to remain silent, but if Casey was truly innocent, there would be no reason why she couldn't go to LE w/what she knows. I think Casey is not telling what she knows because if she did she would be incriminating herself. If Casey was innocent, she would not have sat in jail for the last year+ when she had information that could have gotten her released immediately.

The Anthonys (particularly Cindy) think everyone is stupid, lazy, incompetent, toothless, fat, deceitful (I know! but they do), jealous ... and on and on ...
They hold themselves in high esteem, as being intellectually superior, very good looking, church going and honest and think they're the only ones intelligent enough to have only figured the case ...
Casey isn't the only one in for a rude awakening ... this whole family is going down and they are so delusional they don't even know it ...

Brought over from earlier thread:
US outrage over toddler death play Tot Mum
http://www.news.com.au/story/0,27574,26303425-401,00.html
The Sydney Theatre Company said it will not profit from the play and that Soderbergh will be donating his fee to the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children.
Very interesting that Baez jumped all over this right away :-) It's awfully hard for the defense to maintain its "spin" with all the info about the case hitting the media in every which way, including a theater production.
The article you linked shows that the play is a one-off, to be seen only this season in Sydney. However, I bet when the case is concluded and Casey is convicted, Steven Soderbergh will write the updated version of the play and also make it into a film. What he did with Brokovich was remarkable (and of course that was based on a true case).
I think Soderbergh has his antennae way out on this one and if he does a film, it will be accurate and a blockbuster. He's not afraid to go after the bad guys in his work.
Oh and the US person who apparently wrote to protest the play in AU, that Casey was becoming an "icon" and what a shame that was -- well, yes, she's an icon like Lizzie Borden is an icon. I don't have a problem with that. I want Casey's name to be a household word, synonymous with "evil."

Hi Sun!
Dominic also said after he was no longer working for Baez, he still worked for Casey and that he still did .. and then he had a "verbal" agreement with the A's before the contract was signed ... he never said anything about having any contract with Nejame or Conway ...
You bring up a good point about the legal privilege he's trying to claim and even with KC, he wasn't her lawyer !!! To me from the date he parted ways with Baez, he know longer had any legal standing for privilege ... JMO

Is that really true that she is one of Casey's attorneys or is that a typo? In one of the first sentences she spells Dominic Casey's name as 'Dominic Case'. Just sloppy work.

Many thanks need2no, much appreciated. After reading the the Fl.statutes, I guess they would have checked out the interior and been hit with the decomp smell and hopefully alerted the police.
Except for the terrible smell, it was actually a pretty nice little car. I think it would eventually have been sold at auction rather than destroyed.
With regard to the decomp smell, certainly they would have looked through the car to see what was causing that terrible smell. However, all they would have found was ordinary trash, not a dead human being. I doubt they would have called the police to report a bad-smelling car. I doubt the police would have been interested in investigating a bad-smelling car whose prior registered owners (Cindy and George) were alive and well.

After seeing the filing by DTennis and the oops (attorney for Casey Anthony), it appears that Casey's defense team is behind this. Hi crimeq - I *think* people are surmising it's Cindy's blog because it's called caseydidn'tdoit or something. And because of the sentiments expressed therein, the lack of emotional and intellectual maturity of the posts, and also because most comments are blocked unless they praise the princesses. Haven't seen it myself but nothing would surprise me.

Thanks for your reply Katprint, it just seems strange that the tow yard employees would not and did not alerted the police if they believed the car smelt of decomp. Especially as George talked about his fears that the trunk may have contained his missing daughter or granddaughter. As the smell is something one never forgets. My experience is that it lingers at the back of your throat and in your nasal passage. It is pretty much all you can smell for a few days. The employees were also familiar with the unforgettable smell. It surprises me they didn't have a procedure to follow when they came into contact with it.

Just playing along here......
casey claimed she was doing her own investigation during the 31 days Caylee was 'missing' before Cindy called 911. casey claimed she knew who had her daughter, as well as the type of car she drove, was familiar with some of her family members, and the various states where she had relatives and may go to spend time. She claimed to have been given a script to follow. The 30 days was up.
Ok, so even with the knowledge casey had regarding who took Caylee, she obviously made no headway in locating her daughter. So...when the mean 'ole incompetent cops didn't believe her story, and arrested her this would have been the time to come clean and request protection for her family...if she feared for their lives as she claims. For more than a month she was unsuccessful in finding Caylee, and hadn't heard from the kidnappers, so keeping quiet obviously was not changing a thing, or giving her any reason to believe that Caylee would be returned to her, or was safe, or even still alive for that matter. Now she finds herself in jail unable to personally search for Caylee, or to even share intimate details with her family so they can search for Caylee while she's behind bars...yet she suffers in silence supposedly for the benefit of Caylee and her family. Hey, maybe she thought Zenaida would feel sorry for her and drop Caylee off at the Anthony's home...using her own Anthony house key of course.
This is all so ludicrous I can't believe I even put it in writing.

Add in that very early in the case, she tried to point the finger of guilt at Jesse Grund, the man who truly loved Caylee.
This deplorable family should hang their heads in shame, attemting to implicate innocent people like Jesse Grund, someone who had no problem taking a polygraph for LE.

I hope LE has that car wrapped up tight so that the jury gets to go on a field trip and take a whif of the trunk as it is opened.
Perhaps the defense thinks that if they drag this trial into the next millennium, the smell in the trunk will dissipate. They know that jurors will get a wiff and then those 12 people, can store that horrible smell in their memory banks just like George did as a cop and Cindy did as a nurse. They'll never be able to forget it either.

It has always amazed me how angry liars can become when their lies are not believed. It's like they feel they DESERVE to be believed because they put so much effort into thinking up their lie - even if their lie is patently unbelievable and/or easily disproven.
The other day I was listening to Casey's early police interviews at Universal Studios. The police were confronting Casey about all her lies, and how a mother who was truly concerned about finding her kidnapped child wouldn't be obstructing the police efforts to help her, and they ask Casey why she would lie to them under these circumstances. Casey said, "I don't know what else to do." And I believed her! That one, single time I believed Casey i.e. that all she could think of was to lie and keep lying.

Just for sake of the discussion concerning Cindy and George, Lee too I suppose. I wonder if they were concerned what appearance or what anyone thought in any moment? I doubt it seriously,it would have been the last thing they cared about and it shows, right. WHO in the trenches of despair cares,I know I wouldn't!
I see all over the internet contradictions as to their behavior. Some are shouting they have no class, others saying they put on a front, playing the proper roles.
I mean it gets confusing. Thankfully I have an able bodied mind and can see that in the moments leading up to the 911 calls till this day
( how long has it been now) a long time for sure, that CLASS and then contradictions that follow such as putting on fronts are just angry people, with good reasons, but at the same time these contradictions of the public lashing out ,the demands of the public onto Cindy, George and Lee are atrocious.
What is the proper stance, more importantly who cares, we all have certain anxiety producing differences that dictate how we REACT or ACT or do not act. ( flight or fight response) Do you FLEE as Casey may have ( F LIGHT ) or do you F IGHT ? Like Cindy did. Mothers tend to F IGHT for their off spring, lest we not forget Cindy is the mother, she was not only the mother she was the Grand Mother.
Soul searching is EASY to do when its not your own soul your searching at the moment and in battle with this army searching for answers while in the depths of despair with an Army coming at you full force.
Not an easy task by any stretch. I will not judge these people in their time of despair, just can't go there.
More power to those of you who know how well you would react in same scenarios, how much class you would be judged to have. What strikes me is that anyone would mention CLASS in the scope of the situation.
The proper stance has been shown by countless other people who have lost loved ones.
You dont LIE, you dont OBSTRUCT, you dont ACCUSE, you dont CHANGE STORIES.
There is nothing wrong with the Anthony's loving and even supporting Casey.
But accusing innocent people to try to set Casey free is beyond sickening.

On yesterday's thread, someone posted that Cindy has a blog??? Is this true? Something other than the fundation website?
It was more of an observation and I said it sarcastically (I need a sarcasm smiley), about a blogger named imsosickofthis who was on Topix as sosickofthis and now started her own blog ... It may not be Cindy, but I would bet my right arm it is ... no one else would be that obsessed about laying out the whole case and pointing out the errors in everyone's ways ... the site is complete with a high school picture of KC and complementary slideshows of the memorial etc. .... there are quite a few tells especially names she calls all the players ...
You be the judge ....

Add in that very early in the case, she tried to point the finger of guilt at Jesse Grund, the man who truly loved Caylee.
This deplorable family should hang their heads in shame, attemting to implicate innocent people like Jesse Grund, someone who had no problem taking a polygraph for LE.
Why haven't any of the anthonys taken a polygraph????

You said it yourself, mothers fight for their children. Casey did everything BUT fight for her child, instead she chose partying, lying, not calling police, shopping, men etc and you dont think thats suspicious for a motherr whos suppose to love her child so much? Other people even strangers were more worried for Caylee than Casey was. She was only worried about getting caught.

Do you really THINK Casey spent any time at all coming up with a story, fairy tale or other?
I find it interesting that this cunning, evil Casey did not have a LIE thought out, a story, a plan, anything while her daughter was missing for 31 days.
She has been accused of planning the whole thing, to it was a fit of anger and every other scenario possible, but there is ONE thing that just jumps out at you.
Casey knew she was responsible for her daughter and shown to be a loving mother in the past.Casey knew her mother also had the same loving feelings for her daughter as she herself did. Casey has exhibited openly and I believe this, so Casey NOT having thought out a story, a script, a plan, a cover up in 31 days tells me she hadn't a clue of what to do.
It certainly appears that as a child herself that had to answer to her mother "still" never once had she left the NEST, was trying to protect herself and her daughter at the same time and her selfishness led her to place herself first, instead of her daughter out of her own fears of back lash from her mother.
That tells another story all on its own.
Even if accidental, even if on purpose and with every evil bone in the body, Casey KNEW there would come a day when she would have to face reality, she had 31 days to THINK of something, but she did not, not until the last moment when cornered by her brother.
Yes we all know something caused her daughters demise, but the puzzle pieces have YET to be placed.
Or maybe she DID have a plan all thought out that she was working on until her mother showed up at Tony's apt. that night.
She repeatedly begged her mother 'to just give her one more day'.
Maybe her plan got foiled because Cindy showed up, and she had to make up the invisible nanny story. And then she had to change the nanny story twice after that.
Remember, she told Amy that she was getting her parents house, and Amy and her were going to move in there in a couple of weeks. Amy had already changed the address on her mail.
She also told Mark H in Cali. that she had something big to tell him IN PERSON. So maybe she was planning on heading there.
Just because she spouted the Nanny story when caught doesnt mean she didnt have a plan.

The only problem with this theory is that you have no idea what the Anthony's were thinking. You present this stance because YOU believe that they KNEW their daughter was guilty, yet they state they do not believe her guilty.I believe them, so in turn it is quite easy for me to see them pointing fingers, grasping at WHO could it be?
This obstruction you claim in my opinion stems from their belief their daughter was innocent, therefore they were rebellious and upset that all were pointing fingers at Casey from the inception.
Changing stories? Lies, obstruction,I can clearly see where you could become confused on that, after all you were not enduring the anxiety and fight or flight mode, THEY however WERE.
You can try to come up with all the explainations and excuses you want.
But there is no getting around that they have lied, accused, obstructed, and attempted to enable Casey once again.
Just like they have done every other time she has been in trouble before. It is well documented how they have covered and cleaned up every mess Casey gets into, all the way up to and including murder.

grasping at who it could be? kc TOLD THEM WHO IT WAS and gave a description to cindy - not only that, kc maintains TO THIS DAY that the invisinanny took caylee. so, if the thony's KNOW kc is innocent, and have a PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION OF THE CULPRIT why aren't they out there looking for the (ahem) real killer?
not only that but, i do not recall them ONE TIME ever asking if anyone had seen caylee IN THE COMPANY OF the nanny. she was a "10", remember? i would think that people would sit up and notice a "10" of that description with a small child in tow of caylee's description.

casey anthony did pretty good at killing and hiding her daughter, imo. Until her mother got angry and acted impulsively and called 911. You'd think cynthia would have learned her lesson then and not go flying off the handle without considering the consequences first, but she hasn't.

The difference is they did whatever was needed for justice for their loved ones who were deceased.
Remember, NOBODY is making George and Cindy go on tv shows, and nobody is making them change their stories.
They are doing all that on their own. And taking money for it at the same time. They could show CLASS and say no comment. Too bad the money and Casey are more important than Caylee ever was.

Cindy Anthony: “And once Cas…Caylee is found and is brought back home, someone will give Cay…Casey the Mother of the Year award for all of this, because when mothers across the United States, or fathers, or grandmothers, or whatever find out what she’s done to protect her child, they’re gonna, they’re going to say ‘Oh my God, that poor girl.’ ”
Cindy thinks Casey is the Mother of the Year, yet she told Amy, Ryan and Tone:
page 23 http://www.cfnews13.com/uploadedFiles/Huizenga,%20Amy0821.pdf
Amy: We only had a limited amount of time to talk. Um, and so she’s* telling me all this how like Casey had been stealing money from her for years. How she had stolen money from her eighty year old grandmother by using a routing number on a birthday check and like all of this stuff. And I was like so that’s where my four hundred dollars went.

They didn't have an army of people camping out on their door steps throwing rocks at them because they were all cooperating with LE in the investigation of their missing family member, even going so far as to take lie detector tests. Someone who shows impressive and Stylish excellence

Does it really matter if the car still smells at the time of the trial?
If I was on the jury and learn about the "grave wax" on the papertowels found in the trunk of the car along with pictures of the huge stain... Would be proof enough for me that she decomposed in the trunk of that car. I would not need or want to actually have to smell it.

No, you missed my point. We all know she lied,I state she did not have a story, a plot, a script , a lie in place for where Casey would tell what happened to Caylee, surely that day was coming and surely someone as cunning as Casey would have thought it out. Did i not read that Casey made fake email addresses for years supposedly where she corresponded with a Tom Franc on where her next event would be for work. See so you have to look at the full scope and pattern, Casey should have been able to come up with some plan or other as to what to say, she had 31 days to do so, and did not.

You must have missed the part of Casey's story where Casey said that Caylee was kidnapped by Zenaida aka Zanny the Nanny. Casey thought she only had to fool Cindy who has a long and sad history of being easily fooled by Casey (7 month pregnant belly is PMS water retention, 1/2 credit short of graduation, working at sporting good store then Universal Studios, etc.) thus the story didn't need to be exceptionally convincing. Casey didn't expect to be cross-examined by the police who apparently are not so easily fooled as Cindy.

i respectfully disagree. from what i've seen, she's not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer (not cunning in any sense of the word). in that respect, the apple sure didn't fall far from the tree.
but, she DID have an end-story for what happened to caylee. set up three years beforehand, according to cindy. yep - it was all so simple. create an invisinanny who is also your "friend", who you spend an inordinate amount of time with, who takes over the care of your child (with you apparently not giving a rap) and there is your culprit. the 'rents would back you up and no problemo. caylee is gone, nowhere to be found, the invisinanny prolly left the country. oh well - let's move on.

They didn't have an army of people camping out on their door steps throwing rocks at them because they were all cooperating with LE in the investigation of their missing family member, even going so far as to take lie detector tests. They wanted to assist LE in finding their missing family member, not obstruct their efforts. No one had any reason to throw rocks at them. And I think that is a great definition of "class."
And when asked to give a hairbrush

I think Casey was toying around with ideas for those 31 days. But there is a huge difference between lying to people about your job and coming up with a story that can pan out as to who killed your child, other than yourself.
Casey realized that, IMO. She didn't want to get the ball rolling. She didn't want anyone to know. So she evaded the situation.
When her Mom rolled up on her she was forced to blurt out one of those 'stories' she toyed with, right then and there.
Those flurry of calls she made to her parents - maybe she was going to lie and tell them something happened to Caylee. That Caylee vanished. She couldn't find her. Someone must have came in and took her while she was in the shower. But since nobody answered, her moment was gone.
Casey wasn't a good liar. She just had no problem telling the lies. Look at the far fetched Zanny in the hospital over in Tampa story. She gets caught by George with the gas cans and says she doesn't want to run out of gas on her way to and from. HA? WHAT? That's what gas stations are for.

I find myself in NEW situations all the time and am surprised at how I re-act or don't re-act there are times when I say to myself, now would did I not say something, why did I not stand up for myself, when typically I would have, but again the answer is the scenario was NEW to me, so I had nothing to fall back on, you see.
Likewise there are other times where I have acted and wondered WHY I did act the way I did, if I thought it was too dramatic or not dramatic enough, or other, when I had faced similar in the past.
I guess it depends on hormones, what day of the week, who it is, well SEE that leaves it wide open, hey I am human and we aren't always perfect now are we?

But if we think about all that she has told LE while at universal, she had thought about some of it..
Like her missing phone.. You know the one given to her by her job, the one she left on her desk. that was the phone that had Zanny's number, Mark Hawkins, possibly ZFG mom's number.. All of these people that she told about Caylee being missing their number was on "that missing phone"........
So she did think through the fact that she would not be able to give LE any numbers..
And we all know there is not a missing phone given to her by her job (Universal)...
She did a little planning on the computer.. Researching for Zenaida's...Making ZFG a myspace account...She was working on it.. I think she may have been a little side tracked with TonE.....MOO

I have been in tha same situation with a missing child. We cooperated with police, gave evidence, and did anything else they wanted and it WAS a family member who did it. We never lied, covered up, or did anything Casey or her parents did. She was found in a creek in a trash bag and when the police wanted the bags from the house we certainly gave them. I'd guess that you haven't had much contact with sociopaths, Blue. They don't plan ahead because they have total confidence in their ability to improvise a great story on the spur of the moment. Most people who have been their victims already don't bother to call them on anything, it isn't worth it and gets nobody anywhere. The sociopath's belief in himself is then reinforced. He doesn't even care whether or not you believe him (which explains why he never puts very much thought into his lies) as long as it's enough to keep you from challenging him on it. And you don't. Nobody does. It's fruitless, and if they didn't know that to start with they learn it pretty fast.
Casey was not cunning. She wasn't smart. She put up little warnings that said "don't challenge me in this area" and nobody did. Those emails were probably as much warnings as they were "proof" that she was working, in that they as much as said, "I know you're checking up on me and I'm three steps ahead of you. So don't bother."
Once you know how a sociopath behaves, Casey's behavior all makes sense.

We also recognized he did it and we let him take his lumps, we didnt lie for him or cover up anything.
I do remember the story from before :crying: but I don't think Martini will comment because it does not fit her/him point. It is kindof like when Cindy always makes those comments. Everybody does it. sorry for you loss.

I also feel that her Mother was happy to accept any excuses or lies to avoid the inevidible temper fit from Casey. George seemed to want to call Casey to task over the years but wasn't allowed to by Cindy. Their depo.s show that. Cindy doesn't seem dumb or easily fooled, she may have simpley chose to accept Casey's stories to keep the peace in home.

if you've ever smelled a rotting dead body then you know that it's a smell you can't ever febreeze away. I'vbe smelled a rotten dead body from a distance and it's a whole different kind of stench. I think the car will still reek but you're right, it wouldn't matter if it didn't.
When my mother passed away, her body wasn't discovered until the next day. There was already some decomp smell presumably from the bedroom carpet area where her body had lain. We had to hire a special decontamination team kind of like this company http://www.crimescenecleanup911.com/decomposition.htm although that was not the company we used - I no longer recall which company it was. They were successful in cleaning the area so that it no longer smelled of human decomp but I don't know how they did it or what chemicals they used.
Presumably they could clean up a car too.

I do not RECALL a tag team of news reporters with 24 hour surveillance on each of their homes and an army of followers camping out on their door steps throwing rocks either, do you?
A world of difference there for sure. If George and Cindy had been afforded proper protection from these acts, you may too have seen a different side of them, but we will never know now, will we.
Oh we go back to class, what again is the etiquette to follow when reporting a missing person and all that follows ( considering the scope of the MEDIA frenzy ) Can I find that under GOOGLE somewhere?
The Anthonys set themselves up as good theater from the get-go. The media isn't stupid; they know what sells. George and Cindy weren't exactly setting themselves us as quiet grievers who wished the public to leave them alone and grieve in silence, or make simple and genuine pleas for the return of their "missing" granddaughter.
Everybody loves a circus and the media knows that! It sells!
My sentiments in NO WAY are meant to make light of the tragic murder of innocent little Caylee Marie Anthony. It is the Anthonys who removed Caylee from the center of her own murder case, and made it all about them and all about the $$$ they could reap from her death.
RIP sweet Caylee Marie Anthony :rose: and may justice serve you.

Blue, she came up with dozens of stories. As her situation changed, she came up with more stories.
She had a daily story to give to Cindy. IMO, she did have a plan. She was planning on the car disappearing from Amscot. I think her "master" story was going to be wrapped around the disappearance of that car--a car with her ID in it, and Caylee's baby seat and favorite doll. I believe she had a story created around the act of the car being taken, and the props she'd left in it. (There is simply NO WAY, IMO, that she would have left her purse on the seat of that car if she were not trying to entice a thief. The baby seat and doll could probably be explained away--but not leaving a purse in the front seat.)
She was also working on Mark Hawkins to buy her a ticket to California, and she would have been gone.
Her plans were foiled. Ooops.

Really you think so?
I find much fault in your theory and hope I have explained it well enough for grasping.
I'm pretty consistent in how I respond to situations, even unexpected ones. I was raised to be polite and I like to think I am polite to others, regardless of what is happening.
What I THINK about things may vary (or how I feel), but it's unlikely I will have spastic reactions to events as they happen.
If I do something out of the ordinary, it's usually because of a lot of forethought and I'm needing to change the dynamics of a relationship, for example--but I am still polite while being firm and expressing what I see that's needed in the situation.
I am consistent, and I think that's what we're talking about here.

Cindy chose Casey over George. I don't think it was a new pattern either. When George attempted to come down on Casey Cindy stepped in and stopped him. If I remember correctly she also made fun of him when they were seperated as did Lee and Casey. He was low man on the family totem pole and Casey knew it. Even now George is in last place in the Cindy scale. He can do as she says or hit the road.
Can you imagine the family dynamics as they occured?
Makes me very grateful for the children I have and the way we respect each other.

Well George is the thumb: http://m.tampabays10.com/news.jsp?key=150480
"You know I just had an analogy of our family. Think of me as the thumb. Think of dad. The next finger, the index finger, think of your mom. She likes to point, just like Caylee," George Anthony said.
"Yeah, but it's that middle finger," interrupted Casey Anthony while laughing.
"The middle finger, I guess is a problem," joked George Anthony. "I'm looking at size in the family. The next finger after that is going to be Lee, then you, and that little pinky is Caylee.
Then the conversation turned interesting when George continued:
So think of your hand like this is us. This is the family that loves each other, that cares and needs to be together, and we're missing two fingers."
"I'm still here," Casey Anthony said.
Amazing!

BBM
I don't believe Casey thought she had to come up with any alibi. I don't think she was planning on the body decomposing in the car, the horrible smell from it and running out of gas.
I think she thought about herself only and be done with her family and the rest of them folks in Florida. IIRC, Casey was planning to skip on out to the West to California with Hawkins. That way she could tell her mother she moved to California with Caylee and never to be seen again. Casey always thought for the moment.
However, I also think she didn't really think that out because Lee would have figured it out knowing Hawkins was there. He surely would have done everything to make contact with Hawkins only to find out Casey arrived without Caylee and lied to him and said Cindy took Caylee away from her. Then there is another scenario. Casey would refused to tell her mother where she relocated with Caylee. There is nothing Cindy could do legally because Casey was the natural mother and guardian and over the age of 18. The authorities would have simply told Cindy there was nothing they would do or could do if her daughter didn't want anything to do with her.
There is that!:glare:

I have been in tha same situation with a missing child. We cooperated with police, gave evidence, and did anything else they wanted and it WAS a family member who did it. We never lied, covered up, or did anything Casey or her parents did. She was found in a creek in a trash bag and when the police wanted the bags from the house we certainly gave them. We also recognized he did it and we let him take his lumps, we didnt lie for him or cover up anything.
I too had my son taken by my ex many years ago. Believe me everyone when I say a NORMAL reaction to your beloved child being snatched by someone is more like Somer's Mother's reaction then ANY of the Anthony Family's reactions. Even knowing who has your child you are immed devastated, in unbareable pain and almost non functioning. I had to be medicated until he was returned to me. Believe me I not only prayed for my child's return, I begged and pleaded with God and Mankind. I would have given my life up easily to ensure his safety. IN NO WAY were ANY of the Anthony Family truly concerned for Caylee, in MY opinion. I nor anyone involved ever lied or tried to mislead anyone about the incident. The police, children services and court were MY FRIENDS. Thankfully I got my son back after 3 days and we never heard from my ex again. Now my son is a married Dad of 2, former Marine and one hellva great guy. But believe me as a Mother who loved her child and went thru a kidnapping there is no way any of the Anthony Family reactions to date ring true.
Believe me when I say I have walked a mile in those shoes and what I see isnt normal reactions for that kind of situation.

I was just reading a post by Desmom about what was said in the book.
The story is much clearer now!!!
Casey just didn't want to go to school anymore and skipped all the time. She was faking school just like faking going to work, lmao.
She probably wrote down her own cell number as an emergency contact and spoke as if she was her Mother when someone from school called. And she made sure to jack any school mail as it came in. Keeping her parents completely outta the loop as to what was going on.
Her parents probably were surprised when they learned their princess wasn't graduating. And I'm sure they learned the TRUTH as to why. But they couldn't tell the rest of the family ANYTHING about it. They held the Graduation party and then said "Ooops' she still needs a 1/2 credit. The school stinks, it's their fault, etc.
The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is why she didn't loose her drivers license for failure to be in school. {Maybe she did}

ITa with you how they or handling this is not normal and for casey to wait 31 days to tell any one and I do anyone her baby was missing now I don;t care who you or I don;t think anyone could ever understand that. That stops everyone in their tracks when I first tell them that and they don;t even know anything about this case. They don;t want to hear anymore about it when I tell them the mother did not report her missing for 31 days. someon that don;t keep up with this case that casey will get out of this because no one seen her kill Caylee but did I start to go into all the evidence they do have.just gets me real up set when they have never follow this case.jmho:wub:

It is my opinion that it is not the soda pop. The spacing is missing.
Not so sure, MoonRider, LOL -- I did notice a question mark typed after a space, like this ?
and that's the sodapop punctuation.
Also instead of spaces around commas, there were sentences with run on commas
like this, and like this, and so on.
So maybe sodapop is just playing with punctuation in a different way.

Just for sake of the discussion concerning Cindy and George, Lee too I suppose.
*Respectful snip*
More power to those of you who know how well you would react in same scenarios, how much class you would be judged to have. What strikes me is that anyone would mention CLASS in the scope of the situation.
I and some others here KNOW how we would react. However your not understanding why class is appropriate can be fixed if you go and read the backlog of interviews and facts as others have suggested. Listen to Cindy carefully and really pay attention. Watch her entire deposition by Morgan & Morgan, read about the obstruction of justice that she performed and admitted to, and also read about the innocent young people she has attempted to throw under the bus and ruin their lives. And all because they made the mistake of befriending her daughter. Then you will be able to fully discuss class and how it pertains to any discussion of the Anthonys. MOO

Informal. elegance, grace, or dignity.

It wouldn't suprise me if what bothered Cindy the most is the fact that people are saying she has no class. Not that she is a liar, or she spoiled and enabled her daughter to the point that she could murder her own daughter and know that Cindy would lie and try to cover it up.
Also BM stated that if Casey did murder Caylee she had 31 days to come up with a better story than the one she did. huh? I'm sure at one time Casey thought she had a great story made up. She watched a show about the nanny did it, a movie about a body in the trunk. Made up a story about the dead squirrels stinking up the car. The lost sim card. IMO she thought that LE would go off on a hunt for the nanny, her family would back her up and that would be the end of it.

Well put Puff! -- I was just catching up and was stopped in my tracks by the insight and truth of this entry.

Right on Katprint!... Love to see the legal minds weighing in on the 'opinions' of people who have not followed this case as closely as you and many others on this board....Their lack of knowledge on the facts of discovery is astounding...... One might wonder 'Who is this'? and / or 'What are they trying to accomplish'?
If it is someone in the family or part of the defense, then they are not going to find a sympathic crowd. Certainly not from me...
The dear Casey is guilty as sin ..... and anyone else who knows about 31 days knows that too. The forensic evidence doesn't really matter, as far as I am concerned.... However, it will just put more nails in Casey's coffin.
