I do agree that she was penniless at the time she left the Anthony home on June 15-16. She was desperate for money.

If she was working "gigs" they may have been few and far between. I don't know what she'd get paid, maybe $500-$1000 to work a party for a day or evening? I don't know.

I don't think she would have held on to ANY money.

If she was "working" conventions, etc., it's also possible that she'd been able to arrange for someone to keep Caylee while she was "working", but now at almost 3 yo, that wasn't going to work out anymore--another reason to get rid of Caylee.

This is not a theory I'm working--just speculation--trying to tie together the pics, the timeframes, how she talked about her "events". I've always felt she was talking about SOMETHING that was true, some kind of "work"--she just mentioned it far more often than she needed to, to create an illusion with her friends that she was an event planner.

I'm still doubting that idea, but you made some good points. No doubt Casey inherited her mother's tendency to just buy stuff, and probably bought a lot of random carp for when she went to her friends, little gifts, food, whatever. Whatever way she was getting money, she certainly made no attempts to hold on to it, or to try and use it for her responsibilities. IMO

yes, indeed, ladee - i can see them trying. the only problem i see with this scenario (well, not the ONLY one) is that the amount of sausage on a pizza would be nowhere NEAR the amount produced at a sausage FACTORY.

Also raw meat will smell on decomp not cooked meat. The sausage factory thought the smell was from raw meat sewage. I live in the Cleveland area and its on all the news at every newscast and every channel.

Pizza sausage that was cooked could not cause that horrible smell. I have been told once you smell that human decomp smell you will never forget it and it will never come off the item that the decomp was on.

I remember an old man had died in bed at an apt complex my Sister lived in and they put his mattresses in the dumpster. Everyone complained till they had a special pickup because of the nasty rotten stink. Now you know that has to be BAD for the dumpster to not small as bad as a matress with decomp on it....

I have a question I hope you can answer ... around Oct 7th their was a pdf of the state's notice of provision of supplemental discovery ... I can't find it anywhere but it listed what the state had turned over to the defense ... one item that stood out were entomology reports ...
The state turned over more docs on the 15th and the 20th and there was another pdf of the state's for the ones turned over on the 20th .. that one I have and lists lab results ..

Uh huh.. Well my Hubs has 4 tattoos and they are about 10 years old. He still slathers them with sunscreen when he is sunlight for any length of time. The colors can fade if you do not.

They do get scabby and "bubble up" before the scabs fall off. It is not a pretty sight until they heal well.

regarding Casey's source of cash.. George stated that Casey produced a suspicious deposit slip for nearly 4 thousand dollars. Money she alleged she deposited in Cindy's checking account, but never did. George's story was a bit hard to follow but it was something about 4k he had received from the sale of a vehicle, which was supposed to be deposited in CIndy's account. The cash disappeared, a deposit slip was produced as evidence that it was indeed deposited, yet the funds never showed up in the account. If Casey indeed stole 4k in cash, and in addition had access to Cindy's credit cards and checks, that 4k could have lasted a long time. She had no expenses for Caylee, no car payment, no rent. All she needed was walking around money. I doubt she was a hooker or a call girl or sold drugs, she's too lazy. Stealing from her parents and family was her source of income.

I have to agree with you considering they never had any kind of religious service for the child. I know they had a public memorial but did they ever have anything private with extended family and close friends? Something spiritual and sacred to honor her life ? No, the girl in the pic isn't wearing anything we have seen before. Way back when, I stacked (in Photoshop) a known pic of Casey in much the same pose (the way the head is turned) and the porn pic and most of us thought the features didn't line up the same. A lot of people thought there was a difference in the hairline, also. I don't have any of those pics anymore, unfortunately.

No, the girl in the pic isn't wearing anything we have seen before. Way back when, I stacked (in Photoshop) a known pic of Casey in much the same pose (the way the head is turned) and the porn pic and most of us thought the features didn't line up the same. A lot of people thought there was a difference in the hairline, also. I don't have any of those pics anymore, unfortunately.

Didn't we see one earlier that was very bad of her performing an 'act'? Some said it wasn't her, but it was a dead ringer for her if not her. Also remember the one image that looked like an ad for an "escort" service? I think I have that saved somewhere. She may have been in porn and there are that many shots of her doing things. It has been a hectic week, so I am only 1/2 through the book. IMO, the book is fact based. I am just getting into the section titled "The Crime". At the beginning of this section, Ms. Fanning wrote a note to readers if the charges against Casey are true, this is what might have happened.

I wonder if she was doing this <ahem> kind of work for a while, then got fired or something. The general tone of the reports say she put things into high gear about 6 months before Caylee's murder. The missing piece for me in this scenario, no matter which way I look at it, is she had virtually nothing to show for it. The way that family shops and spends, there's no way Casey wouldn't have some gaudy major purchase of some kind to flaunt around. Her wardrobe was primarily from Target and off price places. Her car was 10 years old. No jewelry. Relatively inexpensive haircut. Didn't own her own computer. No iPhone. None of the trappings someone like her would run out and buy if she had ample disposable income.

She definitely didn't exactly shoot for the stars when it came to her "boys." Jesse was a nice young fella, but I pretty much draw the line there. Nothing against Tony L -- I think he was just along for the ride, as young men tend to be.

I also think she chose her girlfriends based on how superior or "together" she felt with them. She was typically the most fit, well kept-looking, "hottest" gal in all those annoying photos ... at least to my eye.

On the flip side, though, is the fact an accomplished lady of the evening can really rake it in. (I live in Nevada and I could tell you stories :w00t:.) So I would expect, for example, more dinners out, at more upscale restaurants, if she was accustomed to feeding her boyfriends.

But she picked up boys (not men) who were college students, cops (lousy salary), and just plain losers/drifters. No chance for the expensive dinners. And I don't think she was "good enough" for that treatment. She's the epitome of cheap. In every sense of the word.

She's just lazy!!! I don't think Casey would sell herself for money. That would require appointments with johns and physical labor. A 'date' telling her what to do. She's just not into doing that, IMO.

Well the way I look at it is, she may not have had the connections to do it for the big bucks, but one thing we know for sure, is she did "something" and did it a bunch....to the tune of around 2,000 images. Well...I was called for jury duty...and made in the last batch. But...I worked at KFDM..and they did not pick me to go on. I'm glad ...that was sad...AS is this case.

I'm mad because I was always able to get out of jury duty because I was either a student or a mother of a young child and now that I can go and want to go, no one writes. :angry: They would likely not pick me anyway though.

We would have to disclose that we follow cases via blogs and they would kick us across texas. (when I almost got picked) I had to tell I statred following cases as far back as OJ...they did not want me. Plus..I worked in at a TV station at the time... ( I was on only one jury...it was a drug case)
