View Full Version : Florida Attorney Robert Udell...Disbarred
I'm not quite sure where to put this but thought some might be interested. I know two of the cases he represented that were shown on Court TV were Cynthia Sommer and Nathaniel Brazill.
I met him during Cindy's hearings and I thought he was a very nice man. However, if he is guilty of this he should be disbarred...

IIRC during the Sommer's case he did something untoward. Wasn't he replaced, or Cindy was granted a new atty?

The family hired Allen Bloom because he was an appeals attorney after her conviction. Bob took the blame during her hearing and she was granted the new trial for ineffective counsel.

Wow. I liked Udell during Sommers trial, although I didn't care for his client. Something about him was very charming. I hope the allegations are not true -- in the article it states he's not fighting the allegations due to health problems.. But I agree, if he's guilty of overbilling, then he definitely should have been disbarred.

Interesting. I watched the entire trial. I found Udell to be charming but I thought more interested in performing then lawyering. I thought his defense was terribe but was still shocked when she was found Quilty as there was no case against this women, in my opinion. Glad she is out of jail. Sorry this happened to him. Very sad.
