Trouble in Pitt-Jolie Household???? [Archive]

There is some serious tension in the Jolie-Pitt household -- that is, if you believe a new book about the couple, due to hit stores Dec. 1. In Brangelina Exposed, author Ian Halperin claims Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have "successfully manipulated the public into believing a glamorous fairytale that bears little resemblance to the reality of the pair's life together." (Wow, that's a mouthful). There is even an accusation of heroin use by Jolie. This should be interesting. :scared:

We'll have to wait until one or more of their children write a "tell-all" book before we can know the truth. :laugh:

I wondered how long it would be before someone cashed in on this power couple with a book telling everyone how it's nothing like it seems. Ho-hum...with all of the problems facing the world today, I can't imagine putting any of my hard-earned money into such a waste of paper.

I have no respect for either of them..as people..but the one I will give respect to..for acting..is Pitt. Jolie...yeah..good..but I still give Pitt the upper here..and I would rather spit on him than shake his hand..if that means anything.

BORING!!!!! Although it doesn't surprise me about this, but what really makes me angry is their are innocent children involved in this. They start out innocent, but end up spoiled azz adults that don't think of anything but themselves. IMO

I've always felt there is something inauthentic about that whole Brangelina thing. It feels like a ruse just to observe it.

I was sick of these two from the start.

If she were not fathered by a famous actor which gave her a bee-line into the business (talent or none) and didn't have Brad on her arm, she would be viewed by the public as a nutcase like Octomom.

Barf! JA is one of the most over rated actors of our time.

My high regard for Brangelina has little to do with their personal interaction. Both go out of their way to use the incessant paparazzi for good. They donate personal time to charities. Not just their names/faces.

For one I don't give a hoot about either of the overpaid undertalented
duo and why would anyone believe their life is perfect?

Jolie is an addict from way back, nothing new there.

Are you saying recovering addicts are to never have adult relationships? :confused:

I don't think Pitt wears the pants in that relationship. Jolie wears both skirts and pants apparently.

He left a decent woman..who wanted a life with him. OK..maybe it wasn't destined to be..but to dump her and within hardly a BREATH of time hook up with A Jolie? And..be the pre octomom??

Sure..she's beautiful...haven't seen her without makeup..but few of us do..unless we shop Pavillions or pass them on the street. It's not all about beauty..but I think she is more self absorbed than Pitt. But, he's not someone I would jump at the chance of being with..he'd run when he'd find another "better deal".

So many of them are like that..but then the children get caught up in the middle. I give Madonna more credit. Didn't understand why she went about it as she did..but she's never abandoned her kids or put them in the middle of an argument that I know of. Has she?

Pitt and Jolie..I see it as a tug of war. And, sorry..I don't know enough apparently..but I think she causes more of the stress than he does. Spoiled and all "me". I take a lot of the tabloid stuff as BS..but I buy it that she thinks she is so beautiful that people would "get in her way"..like the waiter..wanted a woman instead of man..cause he'd be "smitten"? Give me a break.

What does her acting have to do with her personal life?
i always thought JA had a personality and sense of humor. i've never seen that in jolie and she's sort of strange, the blood drinking thing and other weirdness. jmho.

The paps are following them around constantly. It's a good thing for B & A to bring attention to causes which need the attention.

They don't do it for publicity for themselves, but for the charities. If B & A were Joe Blow, the paps would not care and the charities would not get the much needed publicity.

Pitt & Jolie do a lot for charities and different causes. Not only spending money, but they spend a lot of their time.. and they go to really unpleasant, war-torn, dangerous places to further their causes. so, I respect that aspect of their lifestyle.

Jolie just seems so cold in interviews-- at least in the past few years. Her personality seems to have faded and she seems unhappy. I am not sure what that is about..

.. I think what they did to Aniston was pretty crummy too..

Amen. AJ has made a concerted effort to clean up her scary, blood-drinking, brother-kissing image in the last few years...and snag herself an A-List boyfriend/partner/baby-daddy in the process.

Sorry to sound so cynical, but IMO they are both publicity seekers and want to project a certain image to the world...and some people buy into it.

So you're laughing at everyone who thinks this book is true, and yet you believe the mags when they float their theory that the marriage broke up because Aniston didn't want kids and Brad did? It couldn't just be that Pitt decided to leave his wife for another woman, just like millions of other people have done? It doesn't speak well of his character, nor of AJ's, but sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

I just think it's ironic that you laugh at the gossip rags' portrayal of Pitt and AJ, but you buy into the same kind of story about someone else. Why? Because you think she's not a good actress?

All I can say is JA is one of the top rated actresses in Hollywood, and I'm sure she can sleep well knowing she didn't sleep with another woman's husband. I remember seeing JA on Oprah and she could barely get through the interview.
Jolie is weird and karma will come back to bite her in the butt.

I didn't base my theory on the gossip mags it's just pretty clear to me that part of the break up of Ben and Jen is that he wanted kids and it's clear that her career was more important. I watched the last interview Brad did before he broke it off with Jennifer and in that interview you can tell he really wanted kids like yesterday. Just do the math Brad and Angelina have been together for almost 5 1/2 yrs and now have 6 kids together Brad and Jen were together for over 5 yrs and no kids. I've seen Jennifer's interviews and she never talks about having kids until someone asks her do you want kids.

It would be difficult, if not impossible, to keep what they're doing private. It's one of those, if you've got it, flaunt it, kind of deals.

I'm amazed that Pitt and Jolie are still together. Must be something there. :shrug: I know of few couples who's relationship doesn't experience a few bumps in the road along the way. Just becauses these people have big screen names, doesn't mean their lifestyle is anything to brag about.

With Jolie being as wierd as she's shown herself to be, I can only hope Brad made sure her health certificate was up to date before they engaged in anything involving transfer of body fluids. Hepatitus C and all those other icky things you can get through blood and other stuff is not funny. Hopefully Jolie has settled down a little bit. 'Tis time for her to do that.

I have always felt sorry for what happened to JA. No one deserves that. I always wish her success and hope she can find someone to care for her.
