I watched last night's show this afternoon and I have to say I was most impressed with the contemporary dancers and the hip hop guys. That surprises me as hip hop isn't my favorite style. I was less impressed with the tap dancers and the jazz girls.

I guess it depends on how well these dancers can dance other styles...

Hi Kara, this tapper did great!!They were saying (last night) that tap is too difficult to teach quickly so the tappers would have to dance the other styles, while those who dance other styles won't be dancing tap.... That's a wee bit unfair but maybe the tappers will prove to have much more solid base skills than the other dancers....??

Didn't sleep at all last night and spent the afternoon catching up on tivo'ed Biggest Loser and survivor. Got here 20 minutes late.

Channing and Phillip did a jive
Adam thought it was a classey pairing ..good job
Mary..high energy jive...not bad...legs were lazy
Nigel thought it was good but needed sharper reactions and more chemistry together.

Ashleigh and Jakob doing Tice's Broadway
Adam~u fd chemistry. smart choreography, Jakob spreads the gospel of dance. Ash..close your hands
Mary~Ash was phenomonal...Jak was perfect
Nigel~Ash was a surprise to get into top 20...an inspiration to overcome such a set back

Arianna and Peter did something
Adam thought that they didn't dance like each other, not enough tension (needs action and reaction) but both are talented. Focus on similarity to musicality
Mary it should have been buck. middle got sloppy
Nigel...we never found it..u r both out of your element.

Did any hear about the alleged flash that some girl gave in the Atlanta auditions? It was shown on tv during that try out.
