The text message currently circulating throughout Massachusetts and the United States that reads, “A 3 yr old boy was taken by a man driving a silver eclipse. The license plate reads 98b351 this is not a joke please forward,” is not an official Amber Alert.
There are no active Amber Alerts in Massachusetts at this time. The Massachusetts State Police has not received any information that would match this information to an active Amber Alert elsewhere in the country or a verified report of a missing child.
