I remember seeing an episode where Teresa was walking thru the half-done house and I thought..........these folks are whacked! The place looked like a museum to me. I dont see how any amount of furniture could have made that place look comfy to me.

I like the Orange County and New York Housewives. OC should be coming back on soon. I will certainly jump on this board when that happens. Do you remember all the hoopla about one of them being sued for failure to pay on their home lease? It was alleged that they had also damaged their house. The previews look as if they are covering that storyline on the show!!! How humiliating. They will show anything on those programs. I look forward to seeing it though. LOL.

Yes, that was Lynne. She was clueless about her kids. Allowing one of them to drink underage was just crazy. She'll regret that eventually I bet. Her older daughter was so unmotivated. Very sad.

Back on the old thread about OC housewives, I posted about Lynne's house. I didn't mean to be rude, but the place looked very strange. It looked like you had stacked 2 double wide mobile homes on top of each other and built a balcony like the ones on motels around it. (Nothing against mobile homes. They can be very nice. It's just you don't usually see them stacked on top of each other in a swanky Beverly Hills neighborhood.) The inside of the house looked odd too. Once she hosted a party there and it looked so bare inside. It had hardly any furniture. Still, when her older daughter's birthday arrived, they gave her a very expensive car. It was very odd.

After watching the girls have their spat around the table, I wonder if Tamra wont let it die because of her own personal issues. I got the feeling that she is projecting her own frustrations and insecurities about her marriage onto the Gretchen thing. Because I totally agree that she will not let it die. Guess it makes for good TV tho.

I think the change in NeNe this season is motivated by money. I agree she was mean and also very aloof...not at all funny like the first season...just sarcastic and ugly.

I didn't like Kandi at the beginning of the season but by the middle to the end she was the only one I ended up liking this year. Kim....she's gotta go. Her youngest daughter is a mini me and I can't handle that one. Sherrie agree the bangs gotta go along with her ego and her SHE by Sherrie clothing line. Nene mean and uppity this year. She was funny last year. I really like her husband Greg. Lisa I don't know she seems wishy washy to me goes with the flow at the moment and her Closet Freak clothes gotta go too. Seems like all the kids were not seen as much on the show compared to last year. Wonder why. Next year will be interesting if I end up watching it. Probably will. Guilyt pleasure kinda thing.

OC this year all I can say is WOW! Don't like Gretchen never have probably never will. To fake/phoney for me. Slade romance flash in the pan will be over before the season is over. IMO

Tamara her perfect little workd is crashing down around her and she can't handle it and she will be a total B!TCH this season even more so than last year. I feel for her little girls.

Vicki I hope and it looks like with the exception of throwing Jeanna under the bus like she does seems more stable in her marriage and that is good but with a friend like her who needs enemies ie: they way she treated Jeanna and also the way she is so smoochy with Tamara and then talks about her behind her back. Can't trust her one bit. But I am happy for her that her marriage is back on track.

Jeanna sad to see she is leaving but wish her the best and hope she can recover in this economy.

I just found out next week is Jeana's last. What a bummer!!
She has always been my favorite of all the cities. She is the one I would most like as a friend. I will miss her and thought she would be on till at least the end of the season. I wanted to see her with a real nice guy.

Another good show, a spin-off actually, is Watch What Happens Live. Hope I have his name correct.......Andy is so funny. Last show Tamra skyped in and got a real good dig in on Slade. He had said how she wasn't successful etc... on the last show and she was asked about it. She said success was being a good parent and he should try it sometime.

I do however feel so bad about Slade's son being so very sick. I just hated hearing that and remember his boys from the show. SAD!! Jeana, I have always thought was the prettiest and sweetest of the women. I hate that she has had such a tough time and wish her all of the best.

Vicki is no friend. Jeana got it right when she said you find out who your real friends are when times are tough. Vicki thinks Jeana is toxic? What a laugh!

Gretchen is still gorgeous and I wish she would get rid of Slade. I think she has taken a lot of heat for stuff created out of jealousy and some stupid choices of her own.

Lynne I like but she does seem to be trying too hard to be friends with her daughters. Raquel is going to have a rough time if she doesn't get away from the alcohol.

I just found out next week is Jeana's last. What a bummer!!
She has always been my favorite of all the cities. She is the one I would most like as a friend. I will miss her and thought she would be on till at least the end of the season. I wanted to see her with a real nice guy.

I agree. Of them all, Jenna was the least likely to say really hurtful things about anyone. A good listener and basically kind-hearted. Her kids are beasts though. The one who plays baseball needs a swift kick, IMVHO.

When they showed Gretchen with her "fiance" looking at a set of diamond earrings and necklace and she started in on the baby-talk, asking him for a new set just like that one, I thought I'd barf There he stood with her and he was SO ill...geez... Men, especially rich ones, seem to be so dang gullible. Gotta admit though, Gretchen is a very pretty woman who's built like the proverbial brick ch*t house.

Vicky can be so sensible sometimes about work, for instance, and I think, maybe there's hope. Then she keeps talking and ruins everything. She's downright mean and LOVES to be in the middle of anything.

Poor Lynne. A living, breathing example of Judge Judy's saying that beauty fades, but dumb is forever. Getting herself a facelift is one thing. Letting that daughter of hers get a nose-job is downright foolish.

Don't these people know you can die on the operating table??? My daughter would either learn to live with her nose, or she could pay for her own surgery when she grew up and got a job.

IIRC Lynn's husband had a construction company. Isn't it strange that she has money for a face lift and daughter's nose job but didn't, or couldn't, pay their rent? I think a good many high flyers live like that, i.e., expensive cars and accoutrements but living above their means.

I thought Vicki looked like she'd gained some weight, especially in that white dress when she and Tamra were walking down the hall after leaving Lynn's luncheon.

It is evil of me :sneaky: but I find it rather poetic justice that Tamra, Lynn, Teresa from NJ, NeNe & Lisa from Atlanta are having financial woes. So materialistic and shallow.

I hate it for Jeana though because she is the nicest person. I think that's the reason her two sons are such stinkers; she's too kind. That Vicki would tell the world about Jeana asking for financial help was deplorable. Vicki and Tamra deserve each other - they're both hateful witches.

IIRC, it was Vicki who was pressing Gretchen to get Jeff to put her in his will or something or other while he was in the hospital dying.

Gretchen, to her credit refused to do so. She told her that she didn't want his money and certainly wasn't going to approach him about making sure she was "taken care of".

Tamra is probably just ticked because Simon doesn't make enough money for her to be able to keep her housekeeper. lol

Did you see how casually Lynne's 16 year-old daughter asked her mom if she could have a beer? You could tell it was no big deal to her. Lynne acted like she shouldn't have asked, but I think that was just for the cameras. It is obvious she lets her daughters drink alcohol. It is just crazy, illegal and child abuse IMO. I would love to watch a show where the police arrive and arrest Lynne for allowing and the daughter for doing it.

Perhaps Lynne is working on getting both of her daughters on Celebrity Rehab. She is shameful.

Jeana looks great! Why is she leaving the show? Can't stand her older son. His horrible behavior last season should have lost him his job. I tried to locate an email for his team to warn them about him, but couldn't find it. He is a bad cookie and dangerous IMO.

Viki looks like she is under the influence of something this season. Is she taking medication? Even the day she went skydivingm something was off and that was before she jumped from the plane. I don't enjoy watching her now. It's like she is in a fog.

I think Jeana is the most "real" of all the housewives. She was the Playboy playmate from the 1980s who has since "gained weight." I think she has the clearest grip on reality of all the ladies. :biggrin: And yes, I believe I did hear Vicky utter the word TOXIC! lol
