Unfortunately for Lee, it is apparent with the texture of his skin he had trouble with acne. Can't cover that up. Did Lee's health issues make him the center for a while that Casey felt neglected, pushed aside? Is that why she works to be the center of attention even though she wants to be her own person? Is this an avenue the defense might go?

You bring up an excellent point. What family of a truly innocent defendant, goes on a cruise while that defendant languishes in jail? If george, cynthia and lee truly loved casey anthony, there is no way they would have done such an inconsiderate and inappropriate thing such as treating themselves to a cruise.

A cruise I might add, that was possible because of the money they made off the murder of Caylee Anthony.

I cannot recall a more despicable bunch in all the cases I have followed. IMO.

The depos have revealed that there is no communication between anyone in her family and Casey. For every excuse and alibi Cindy gives Casey, she turns and puts another nail in her coffin with a comment or statement that implicates her. George does the same. Lee, I believe knows his sister is guilty and in his typical style, shows little or totally inappropriate emotions. They all know the truth, but in typical Anthony behavior, made obvious in these recently released depos, they don't discuss it. They never will.

After reading (and listening) to George's LE interviews, and reading the State depo, I think he should have taken his journal with him on the cruise and caught up on his reading while he was lounging in the sun.

George admitted he and Cindy were not always on the same page regarding Caylee. He wouldn't talk on camera, but he also said he keeps a journal of everything he tells investigators to keep the story straight. :w00t:

I agree with you....I think that they are happy to know where Casey is at all times...before they had to wonder...I believe they like it just like this, they don't have to hear Casey cussing and screaming at them...They can sit back now and go on cruises (to get away from the media :rolleyes:)...I believe that the Anthony's are very happy right now, they didn't have to kick out a penny for their daughter defense because the crime made media attention and all the low life attornies came out of the woodwork....

I agree. I tend to think the tattoo artist didn't notice it was missed and forgot it. If it were a large portion of the tattoo, that's one thing, but the dots are so tiny that it would be easy to overlook not having done it.

i think george had just gotten fed up with casey (and with cindy for not "allowing" him to confront casey lest she become "irritated"), so he finally decided to act. by reporting the gas cans to LE, it would be LE confronting casey, not him. imo, it's his passive-aggressive style

George messed up his answers. :D real simple. as you have shown above. he initially tried to say he bought cans AFTER August 1st. when that response was drilled down for June 24 thru July 15th, he DID GET CONFUSED. he forgot the cans were returned on the 24th, he forgot he used the can on July 15th. Remember, one of the cans was not solely gasoline. It was a mixture, IIRC, for the weed wacker or something.

Simon B statement indicates it was a SMALL ROUND, VERY BATTERED GAS CAN, OLD METAL ONE.

Even if that was the case all he ever had to tell LE (when they became involved because of the 911 call), was casey showed up at the home to pick up some clothes, and returned the gas cans to him after he questioned her about taking them-end of story. Granted, George probably did smell something, and does want to cover his arse, protect himself, but he could internalize his guilt and keep the details of that event to himself. Truth is these depos boggled my mind so much that I kept going back and forth reading, and re-reading until I decided I needed to tackle parts of them, and transribe to have it handy to dissect.

The more I think about this whole gas can tale, the more I'm convinced George knew something was up PRIOR to the 24th of June, and of course PRIOR to July 15th.

Ah good point denjet! If there's one thing we've learned the past year and a half...how to make a buck from other people. Likely tho, he'd have a deductible with his homeowner's insurance, but yep, throw in the cost that he estimated his gasoline was worth, the worth of the gas cans, the locks, the damage to the doors- maybe that was the point.

Me thinks maybe George put 2 and 2 together BEFORE he picked up the car at the tow yard. Can you imagine George just standing in that small overcrowded garage while casey raced to the car to unlock the trunk and retrieve the gas cans. Was casey's car the only vehicle in the garage that day? Either way, with George's car in there or not, he would have been very close to casey's car. Surely he wouldn't have just stood back like a frozen statue watching while she retrieved the cans. What about his tire block, why didn't he insist on retrieving that after she gave or threw the cans at or to him? The story doesn't ring true, and I suggest there is some small speck of truth in this story which is why he brought it up in the first place.


A former LE officer knows about decompostion, and not just the odor. Think about the delay in picking up car due to the excuse about not seeing the certified letter on their front door. Maybe the real delay was due to waiting on their stimulus check to arrive so they could afford to retrieve the car from the tow yard. Think about Simon Burch pointing out how George knew the car had been picked up from Amscot, yet he hadn't mentioned this to George. Then later George claiming the lady at Johnson's told him the car had been picked up from Amscot (but we've never heard this lady confirm this phone call from George).

Too many inconsistences, as with most of their stories.

its pretty clear by his interview on Aug4th 08 that he spoke with and SAW Cindy after the morning call to the police, after the report was taken. he met up with Cindy at the bank at 2pm to cash their stimulus check. after he returned home, Casey arrived.

from the moment Cindy was apprised of the theft, until 2:30 when Casey arrived, GA's brain was fueled up with 'Cindy information'. He attempts to make claim on how INTELLIGENT HE IS, that HE first thought of Casey, but that cant be true because he called the police. in fact, major slip in his statement to LE by virtue of this comment:

......'but then about 20 minutes after I call the Sheriff's department, SON OF A GUN, the guy shows up and make reports..."

ummm....what did he expect? nobody to show up after he reported a theft?????? perhaps not so promptly which would have allowed him to rethink pulling the report after Cindy, the brains of the family, plants the seed.....? <----I choose that rationale for the slip....

I just tried looking the name up again -- I think it's spelled "Plesea" -- and I can't find its nationality now, it's a really unusual name. But here, I found this on the white pages, and it says there's only 300 + Plesea-s in their lists, and they're all mostly located in OHIO and FLORIDA.

I assumed his dark face and Tube Sock's dark face and hair was Italian, but assuming anything especially about this family is not a good bet because they make everything up about themselves as they go along.

one odd thing with the gas cans, one of them was the can he used for the weedwhacker and edger. He said it contained a mixture of gas and oil. Would a gas/oil mixture screw up the engine in Casey's car? I know it can't be good to have oil going thru the spark plugs and gas filter, it would gum things up. :confused:
and if you just needed a little gas to get going why 2 cans? one was only a gallon can. I think Casey had Cindys credit card at the time.

Yep, George forgot the script, he's not nearly the refined liar that Cindy is. George forgot one major thing if the art of lying, Cindy told him you have to put a little truth in it to make it beleivable. I am almost in doubt he even seen Casey on 24th. I'm not really sure that is what he said that whole convo, is really messed up. Thats one thing about lying, you have to remember each and every lie. George just isn't up to par in that field. On the stand they will break him down and he will look like an idiot. I wonder if Cindy won't have him pull a break down and have him hospitalized so he won't have to testify...Just a thought..hmmmm

They know casey took the cans . So george tells Casey get them back here now, or Im calling the police, No Casey, GA makes report, here comes casey a little late. and says heres your effin cans.

George knew Casey took the gas, he was pissed she broke the lock to do it. He knew Cindy would call Casey and give her a heads up and the cans would be returned (empty). He wanted to make a point but he couldn't confront Casey cause Cindy wouldn't allow it (Sports Authority incident) so he makes Casey think he never suspected her, why would he have called the cops on her! Of course she is welcome to gas, just give poor dopey dad a heads up so he doesn't make a fool out of himself. He gets to play cop for a day, and Cindy can't yell at him. And Casey gets away with it again.

Sure she is and I think they know that. In the meantime they're gonna make hay while the sun is still shining for them. Once the trial is over and Casey is safely locked away in her little cell, they will fade away from view. They'll be back in that sad little house on Hopespring Dr wondering what hit them.JMO

Of course they would need to invest some of their blood money, and not outlandishly squander it left and right. (Like throwing a lavish wedding for Mallory and Lee, which I expect to see). Oh... or be sued by lots of people, or have the IRS come after them. It was pretty obvious from reading the depos, (as if we didn't already know), that things are in the works for the Anthonys, we already know they've gone to NY with Conway to discuss a book, and we know Jim Lichstein from NBC is their shadow. At this point they are just holding out for the best offer, and probably wanted to delay until depos were over where they would be questioned about their money making schemes.

I found this old article, and even keeping in mind who is being quoted, I do believe he is right on! If you think about Kronk getting 20K for a snake picture, and Larry Garrison getting 6K for setting up a TV interview for the Anthony's, you get a sense of how much money they have, and will continue to make off the death of Caylee.

If George's was painful to read can you imagine how painful it was to listen to live! I feel for those district attornies. This teeth thing w/Cindy is ridiculous. Unless they have a record of her teeth from dentist. I doubt very much Cindys claim will hold up in court. I have to assume all Caylees teeth were intact. Considering she was taped up. IMO only.

Caylee has no known dental history, but has visited a pediatrician.

In addition, received from the Orange County Sheriffs Office from the scenewere an ulna, radius, humerus, two femurs, a fibula, 15 ribs, scapula, an ilium, two clavicles, two teeth, and two vertebrae, as well as an epiphysis and miscellaneous bones.

All of the teeth that were lost during decomposition were subsequently found at the scene, except for one incisor.

I was just thinking that there has to be a lessening of interest and amount news organizations are willing to pay at this point. Law of Diminishing Returns.

There is so much out there already and most shows have moved past this case.
