That's the sickest part of all. They KNOW.

Yet they hopped right on the Caylee Gravy Train. No wonder Casey is mad when they only replenish her commissary account when the newspapers report she has a deficit.

Hopefully, the men that were contributing from ALL across the world are now in a padded room.

MOO

Casey who?

When I go and get excited about there going to be another court hearing, would you all please just pick up a hammer and beat some sense back into me. Please.

I had hoped to hear what was happening in the criminal check/fraud case, but it seems like all that happened was off camera. And, video feed appeared to be down for the start of the court hearing.

...ok, I'll admit that I did enjoy the part where Casey got up and exited the courtroom. I could hear chains clanking.

You were here when it was reported that he set the date for the check/fraud trial though right Sun?

I hope that NG discusses the documents. On her webpage, it says they'll be discussing Ronald Cummings divorce from Misty Croslin though and nothing about Casey/Caylee.. I will still keep an eye out.

48 Hours Mystery isn't on until tomorrow night, right?

And what I also found astounding is Cindy volunteered this information, and doesn't see to 'GET' how disgusting and inexcusable this is.

Dang, a two year old in a house with three adults and poor Caylee had to care for herself! :cursing:

I wonder if Casey had to get HER OWN breakfast and entertain HERSELF at age two? If Cindy was the breadwinner, I wonder if Casey went to daycare... who watched her...or did she basically raise herself without much guidance from her parental units?

I just heard something strange on WESH local 5 o'clock news orlando.
They were pointing out georges description of why he knew there was pizza in the trunk.
this is not word for word "I knew there was pizza and maggots because you could hear them munching and it sounded like hamburger sizzling."
Think about that: that would be alot of maggots and a 35 lB pizza to have a noise like that.
but it struck me as a crazy statement( I know, everything they say is crazy) but this is different: we know there was no pizza in the box, so it makes me think GA did open Caseys trunk around the gas can time,. and heard what he describes, otherwise how on earth would you create that description?

Ok, going back to find the link.

Poor Pru! She's waited so long for the maggot evidence. Gonna be a lot longer considering their testing a 500 pound maggot if he heard em chomping!

There was a a pizza box and there was maggots inside of the box -- I mean, in that bag. I remember specifically because they were making a cracking sound, like hamburger on a skillet. I remember that specifically.

I wouldnt be surprised if he went totally insane over this. The smell, the sounds, they dont go away.

That is the most ridiculous thing about this whole case.

You are NOT going to be able to find A juror, let alone 12, that haven't been on the highway and breezed past a dead animal on the side of the road.

The aroma..vs..rotting pizza...I think not. MOO

How could george talk about maggots sounding like a sizzling hamburger when he couldn't even stand to listen to Mr. Morgan say the word remains? And yet he did. Tells me this man tailors his reactions depending on the audience. He's a total sham in my opinion.

I hope he hears those maggots feasting for the rest of his life.

George and Cindy said the school called them a couple days before Casey's h.s. graduation and told them she would not be graduating. Another George and Cindy story about how Casey was wronged?

In Lee's depo with LE on the bottom of page 18 http://www.wftv.com/pdf/21310241/detail.html Lee said, "..I never personally brought it up to her after the day when she brought it up and pretty much confessed, said: Mom, you know, by the way, thanks for the graduation party but I'm not graduating."

IMO, Lee's version is probably more accurate. Casey would have known for several months she was not eligible to graduate if it was because of a lack of credits/hours.

I have to admit I cringed just a bit when Kathi asked her that questions UNTIL I remembered this is her motion:

The only purpose of evidence of these, and potentially other, alleged prior bad acts of Miss Anthony is to attempt to show that Ms. Anthony had the propensity to not properly supervise it's students.

As you all can see I am 15 pages behind but needed to comment to this.
If they had proof, a witness or whatever they claim they would produce them right away.
I can't believe Casey would just want to wait in jail one day longer then necessary.
The defense doesn't think the judge and prosecution haven't figured this out?

Casey's check fraud dates back to when she was in 10th or 11th grade of high school per Lee on page 40 http://www.wftv.com/pdf/21310241/detail.html

A: ...So it would have been after I graduated, her in -- that would have made her in, what, tenth grade or eleventh grade, depending on when.

Q: How much was the -- how much did she write the check for?

A: It was, like, 200 bucks, I want to say. Like a -- it was a small amount of money.

Sorry to disagree, respectfully. But I do not believe George ever even entertained a thought to kill himself. However, I do think he did entertain the thought to pretend to consider suicide in order to gain sympathy. Remember, this is the same "man" who has made accusations to just about everybody, "You don't care about me!" My opinion in this matter derives from the fact that his "suicide note" was found in his car while he was found in a motel room with pizza and beer and no missing meds in the pill bottles.

Reading the lastest depo released of George's.....Cindy wouldn't let him handle anything concerning Casey and her bad behavior & lies. Cindy always told George, "I'll handle it."

Listen to WHAT!! Belich asks Lyons DO YOU LET YOUR STUDENTS WRITE THESE MOTIONS LMAO!!!

here you can see everything even interview with ConMAN

http://www.wftv.com/news/21314971/detail.html

OMG neid! ROFLMAO!!

As obviously rude as Baez is to Kathi and no matter how much he tries to ignore her, she just keeps on firing !! She gets her point across without even getting him to answer!!

And Kathi going after Lyon ... priceless!!

Well, you do have to wonder how a woman who is considered a legal scholar couldn't read the requirements for writing a motion properly. Baez, that I expect, because he's done so many wrong, but Lyons? She should know better.

Over the years I've worked with, or had to deal with, a number of people who I always wondered how they got in the position they were in...it was baffling. Watch A. Lyon standing there while Baez is talking to reporters after the hearing...she looks so, uh, clueless.

Reading the lastest depo released of George's.....Cindy wouldn't let him handle anything concerning Casey and her bad behavior & lies. Cindy always told George, "I'll handle it."

Explains a lot as to how Casey turned out the way she has & why she's sitting where she is.

No Kidding,

I am "almost" starting to feel sorry for Po' George. Should we start an intervention campaign to get him away from Cindy while he still has breath left in his body? MOO

Yet earlier in the depo, (pg. 62, 63), George says they divided discipline equally....they were a family where mom says wait till dad gets home. It was never one dishing out more discipline than the other.

It appears as Casey was slowly getting into deep doo-doo, with the lies about working when she wasn't....Geroge was treated like a boarder in that house.

Like when he went to Sports Authority to take her to lunch and found out she didn't work there, neve had and no one at SA ever heard of her. George wanted to confront Casey and Cindy wouldn't allow it.

Cindy didn't want George addressing anything with Casey. George wasn't allowed to confront Casey about anything.

Seems to me she would have quickly responded indignantly with "of course not!", if her students had not written the motions, unless of course she was embarrassed because she, or Baez wrote them. :w00t:

I was thinking the very same thing. I've seen Baez's motions, and I don't think that he wrote these. These came from Lyon, and I guess she's not talking about "who" wrote them.

She did seem like she was having a bad day today. I must say, I was not impressed with her dressing in matching colors with the perp. Smacks of the "games" that Casey likes to play, very juvenile.

Yep....I worked at a high school for 11 years. There is no way they didn't know unless Casey took every piece of mail, deleted every phone call, and hacked into the schools web grade program the entire last semester of her senior year.

Knowing Casey, its entirely possible she did intercept the mail and phone. However, it is up to the teachers, guidance counselors, etc., to demand either a phone conference or a face to face meeting with the family. I doubt Casey is capable of hacking anything, but its entirely possible she masked her academic record for quite a while. Which is a shame considering she might have been able to somehow make up the points in time to graduate if her parents had taken charge of things. While I'm no fan of Cindy, if I were Casey and needed backup to fight for the right to earn credits at the last minute, I'd want Cindy in my corner. Hate her if you must, but her pride would be on the line and she'd fight tooth and nail to help Casey graduate in time. I can see her wearing down school officials till she got her way.

Casey had to be handled with kidgloves and it had been that way all her life. So I have no sympathy for Cindy....not that I ever have.

George is totally dependant on Cindy and he has no financial resoures w/out Cindy. When all he has to do is get a job...ANY job and break away from the Cindy chains that bind him. I'm not sure George has the mental capabilites to think about that.

My 2 cents is all things being equal, a toddler grabbing her cereal and her sippy cup in the morning by herself occasionally, in a normal family, is not even worth mentioning. What's so wrong in this case, for starters, is it was Caylee's routine to do that, because her mother couldn't be bothered, and her grandparents were too self-absorbed and too busy coddling and enabling her mother to do anything about it, either. Caylee was flat out neglected, imo. Sorry, Cindy, but all the cute little outfits and toys and dress up attire don't fool me. They never have.

Caylee was neglected to death, imo.

George had no stable employment history, and little money to contribute= no power in that house.

As usual George spoke out of both sides of his mouth. Which is it George, you did, or didn't share in disciplining casey.

I loved this:

George says he always taught his children to be leaders, not followers. Always be strong, always have an opinion. Stick with it. Be strong. I mean, have people respect you as being a leader. I mean put yourself out there……Don’t go allow with the few, because the few could be—something could be wrong…but be yourself.

Apparently George didn't teach what he preached....if that's even true.

Interesting also he doesn't want any comments about Joy Wray as well. Why Dave????? You befriend someone who has been Baker Acted five times. Makes no sense to me. He says he will have an interesting story in his next article about her and his excursion to the court today. I can hardly wait to hear the nonsense he is going to spew this time.

Something is not right with this guy. Why at this late date is he injecting himself in this case? Now he is best friends with Judge Stan S. and I am sure he will be on LKL soon telling his tall tale. Is this another Murt in the making? Think there will be a book deal in his future? Maybe we should all move to Orlando and get rich off the back of poor Caylee Marie. Yeah, this is all getting strange. Did you see where the deputy approached him at the end of the hearing? I assume it was regarding what Judge Strickland was whispering about that was accidently overheard. Something about the guy in the gray striped shirt and a picture. Why do say he is best friends with Strickland?

Lyon showed her true colors to me in her first press conference where she said she had not yet had a chance to research the case, and in the next sentence proclaimed Casey's innocence. That gave me a preview of her "logic." I truly believe she has an abundance of education, but an atrocious lack of intelligence. JMO, of course.

But look around that courtroom: I didn't see anyone in that courtroom who was "well-coiffed" DeeJay. Linda Drane Burdick doesn't have great hair and it's pretty sloppy looking IMO, but I support her 100% and I think she's a good attorney.

Lyons comes from academia. A lot of professors look like that, very few have "coifs." She fits into that look just fine, and to change it for her court appearance would be disingenuous, in a sense.

Court room appearances make profound statements without a word coming from them. When ALyon speaks who can even hear a word she has to say when they have to look at her. If she isn't smart enough to do something about herself, how can she help someone else? She is another cash cow in this mess. IMO JMO MOO............ lol.....

She's well-respected and successful in her crusade against the death penalty, Serenity -- so I dare say someone listens to her. Despite what you and DeeJay think about her looks, which really is getting a little bit tedious and silly but that's my opinion.

I just wouldn't hire an attorney on the basis of her hair, her weight, or her outfit.

C'mon...LOL, it's a bad hair LIFE down there in that heat and humidity.

Let's drop the "coif" thing...it's almost embarassing to talk about it.

And taxes.

But I wouldn't sell my soul to the devil :sneaky:on the chance of my being right about this.

I didn't say you weren't. I still think commenting on a person's physical appearance is wrong and I did say "in my opinion".

Go for it.

Does that include George, Cindy, Lee, and Casey? Especially Casey's disgusting tatoo and back? Cindy's mushroom hair cut? George's attire for the court room? Just curious more than anything-- not trying to battle opinions here but it would seem that if that is your opinion, well it would be for everyone not just A. Lyon... right?

I'm beginning to think Nancy sticks to one case because she can follow it better. Between the twins, her four day work week, her book promotion tour, phone calls from Sheba in Illinois, and I don't know what else, she doesn't have much time to jump from case to case, absorbing all the details.

I can't even believe she's still going on and on about Misty and Ron, but she is. Tells me it's the ONE case she's focused on right now.

Her new thing is twitter. I'm not sure she has time to follow even one case she tweets twits or whatver it is.

Lee did state in his depo that even his Dad would go in his room and grab his change for a newspaper, or whatnot. He used the word whatnot a lot. lol AND IIRC George is the one who told the FBI or LE that Casey stole from Caylee's piggybank. Whole lot of stealing going on in that house. You mean I didn't have to make oatmeal every morning for 3 1/2 years for my twins?

But then again, I was still cutting their grapes in half when they were 5.

I wonder why Cindy would ever say these kind of things. She tries to make it sound like Caylee was advanced for her age in a bragging sort of way, not realizing people will wonder why is a 2 1/2 year old getting pre-sugared cereal, not sitting in a high chair, etc.

imo

Impartial, yes I think most parents are up at the crack of dawn making exactly how you describe most households. Any child left alone at that age (other than their bed) is extremelly odd to me.

Maybe this is our "aha" moment that KC's parents raised her like this and she was raising herself w/o any guidance because this is only what she knew and the only way KC could get along in her little word was to lie through everything just get something herself....food, water...

Not to get too deep, but the raising of a child the way KC was doing it w/ Caylee does not mean she was raised like this but it sure is pointing that way IMO

I love when he says those "big man" "daddy hero" kinds of things, like "I'd give my own life if I could have her back" or this one, about selling his soul to the devil.

In both cases he knows the possibility of that happening is a great big ZERO, so he's completely safe in saying it.

I'm telling you this at the risk of being called a bad mother... but my eldest son used to do this when he was two. There was a time that I was quite ill and my husband was away working a lot. I would get a bowl of cereal ready the night before, put milk in a sippy cup and he could do his own breakfast. And no problem with turning the TV on and popping in a VHS tape.

I hate to stand up for Cindy in any possible way, but I do believe this one part of her depo.

Oh AnniePie, I think you sound like a great mom. Just being on this thread and trying to do what is right for Caylee. I still see no way my son could have done that but he could do other things that surprised the blank out of me at his age. I'm not trying to get into a battle either, but I don't feel it's nice to comment on the appearance of any of these people. Discussing Lee's tubesocks, George's attire in court and Casey's tatoo are different, because these things aren't part of their being... they are what they put on their bodies. I just feel that it's demeaning to people to ridicule things that they have no control over.

I'm just wondering why she is rewarding her mother now? Is it because they have exchanged private letters? Is it because her father put money in her account? I've not followed as closely as all of you, but this is the first I've heard of her acknowledging her parents in a kind way in the court room. Perhaps she's beginning to see the light after being in jail? Perhaps she now realizes that her parents are the ONLY ones to give her unconditional support? A stress claim would require a psychiatrist to state they were unable to CONTINUE working, or return to work due to extreme stress related illness. The doctor would have to specify the condition or conditions that make it impossible for them to hold down a job at this time, as well as note any meds they are taking for the condition (s). Also the LTD provider could require a second opinion with a doctor they select. No way a LTD provider would pay her/them after seeing all their public appearances and shenanigans. If submitted the claim would be denied, IMO.

Hearing this from Cindy in my opinion means there is a lie in the mix here. She could have applied for it and has not received it yet, and I'm not sure if she could get anything from the State. I'm sure she would have to provide a lot of information from her income (media) and then according to Lee is living there to help them pay rent. So he says..lol

In the beginning, if alawyer presents an appearance of being offensive, his image more or lessbecomes tarnished for the rest of the proceedings. In the eyes of thoseobserving the lawyer, he already has a lower ethos. However persuasive hisarguments may be, these may also be affected by the initial appearance he hasshown.

They ask him about the CMA and the memorial. He was talking to all three women in his life- Mom, Casey, and Caylee... what a crock.
And he went further and said they were the top 3 women in his life and sorry to Mallory for being #4...!! So- he lied to them because at the memorial he made that promise to CMA he would never tell.. and looks like he didn't and he won't.

That's right. It's a shame the prosecutors didn't go one step further in questioning him about that speech. They just asked general questions and didn't get specific about that line. Absolute kook.

IMO it's ONLY because they put money in her account. In past hearings she hardly gave them a glance, let alone a smile, except for one a while back after Jose Baez whispered something in her ear.

I really doubt casey will ever see the light.

I meant the light only as it relates to her.....in her immediate world. She was tough and sassy when first incarcerated. It was all new and she still believed she could call the shots. One means of control was to ignore her parents in the courtroom. She wanted them to pay for her suffering. After all, her mother called 911 and started the ball rolling. I think she's finally realized that punishing Mommy and Daddy ain't gonna get her out of jail.

His entire deposition kept referring to 'we' throughout and at times, not all the time the State would have to call him on it. So when I continued to read his 'we' I am confident it was him, Cindy, George, and Baez!!

I did like the questions about his sisters riddles... and did the riddles get worse!! Talking in riddles to where whatever she said could be taken different ways. All of them operate in riddles... IMO

True, but hard to feel sorry for her. Goodness knows she has had loads of opportunities to see what she is getting into. One day she may look back and say OMG....why didn't I SEE this, love is so blind.

Oh the other hand she may be hanging in there so she can write her own book one day.

Also: Lee stated he did not watch anything about this case on TV or online... he simply didn't eat, breathe, and sleep this case. He wants his life to move on, get married and have a family. :scared:

LOL Lee told the State he was a mommy's boy and Casey was a daddy's girl... LMAO

Also- I just know the picture they were showing Lee of Caylee with the pink shirt on was the one with Big Trouble that I saw way back in the beginning. That photo is around somewhere and that is the one they found her in. Sure wish I could find it. Anway- Lee didn't claim to have really noticed Caylee in that shirt. At the beginning of this case when we first saw Lee I was creeped out, something about him didn't sit well with me. So many others on the board seemed to put faith in him that he'd be the one to solve this, break casey. Because of the video feed problem early in the hearing, I doubt we'll ever see that photo. I think we should just ask Kathi Belich.

Casey normally doesn't even look in their direction when she's brought into court (clang clang clang).

He started out like this from day 1 when LE arrived to their house.
Mr. PI running for the notepad and hanging out in the room next to Casey's so he could hear.

OMG... he was even role playing about being a Cop and talking to Casey before LE ever arrived. He wanted to put her through the role playing of what she would do and what would she say...!! I forgot that tid-bit. Afterall it is something like 400 pages.

page 77, part 1 of Cindys depo she says (typos mine)

"As she got older, she had, you know a set breakfast. She’d get up, as she got older, she would get her own breakfast. She could go in and get a cup of cereal and watch her own movies…."

uhm, At two years old Caylee would get up and make her own breakfast and turn on the video player and select her own movie? Anyone believe this? It has been a while but I remember there is no way my son could have done this at that age.

Our granddaughter will be 2 next week. She's very bright, very articulate. Could she get out a box of cereal and poor a bowl for herself? No. Could she grab a dvd and put it in the player, turn on the tv and get the video to play? No. Do I believe a word that Cindy Anthony says? No. I don't believe a good parent or grandparent would allow a 2 year old to wander freely throughout the house while they sleep.

What they should do is put down large pictures of Caylee's remains. Maybe starring at them for a while will shake their memory and help them recall what Casey did to Caylee. Maybe a little reality will shake George up enough to tell the truth.

Me too, even if the Anthony's were involved in the coverup, and with all their lies, shenanigans, and share of shame ... casey did take their granddaughter from them after putting them through years of he!!. She
also caused the public exposure of their personal lives, and turned their world as they knew it upside down. Meanwhile she has the audacity to snub her nose at them while they are going everywhere declaring her innocence.

casey needs to wake up and realize they are the only people who will give a hoot about her when she is serving LWOP, or waiting on death row.

I was just googling trying to find a pic of casey entering court, haven't found anything yet.

whoa. I just read to the last pages of GA depo. I didn't know that LE actually goes thru WP to see what words are used when and how often in a depo. Is this a sort of test that LE uses to see how often a subject may use words, as to whether or not they are lying? I've never seen this before. AND, there are photos attached to his depo that I've never seen before.
I don't want to freak anyone out but the first few are b and w and one photo, does appear to be duct tape on a skeletal face. You can see the structure of what would be mandible, jaw, ear area, and how the tape is setting, it is not lying out after removal.
Has anyone seen these photos before? Because I have not. One or two are a pair of pants as well, I think one may be caylee's they are almost rotten, the other maybe casey's am not sure? Not sure what I am looking at?

The other mental note I have about Lee's depo and lying...
He had time alone with Casey when she was out of jail while Tracy went out to smoke, and no other opportunity to have time alone with her. DID he forget toting her to Baez's office ALONE and their little quiet time alone to talk with no one present? GEEEE I wish I could have passed the State some notes and video clips.

Hi Pru-

Honestly- I swear I just do not for the life of me understand why these people are not behind bars for obstruction...!! From Day 1 and at every turn they have lied, held back evidence, and put up road blocks every way possible for any justice for little Caylee. Per George: he will sell his soul to the devil to get Casey out of jail. All of them sold out to the devil long ago... and I just don't get it and never will.

Whew... I finally finished part 2 of Cindy's depo. Strangely, it seems like there should be more to it. It ended in the middle of a question, but then a bunch of exhibits followed. hmmmm? Wonder if WFTV missed scanning a few pages (or if a few pages were missed when they received the docs)?

I'm left with a very odd feeling. Why do you suppose that Baez had Casey ask Cindy for her hair samples? And, also to collect several of Caylee's hairs if she could find them? What need would Baez have for hairs (or possibly DNA) from Cindy? (note this would have been during the time that Casey was out on bond, well before little Caylee's remains were found)

Yes I remember noticing that it ended right in the middle of something too. Although by that point I didn't care. I was just happy to be at the end.

Baez sure was freaking out about exhibits 22 and 23. The handwritten notes (one Cindy said looked like Casey's handwriting) and the other she didn't recognize. By Baez's reaction, I'd say "the other" was in the handwriting of someone from the Baez Firm.

Both exhibits appeared to reference items that might be sources for DNA or hair. One looked like a "found" list (in Casey's handwriting) and the other a list of suggestions of what to look for. ....Baez had a hissy fit because these two exhibits were to be included in Cindy's depo, and absolutely didn't want Cindy answer any questions about them.

Yes that's what I said earlier. He was having a conniption about it. He really had to tell Cindy over and over to stop talking. So, of course, the prosecutors are now aware it's important somehow.

sorry page 336. That is very disturbing, I thought no photos were to be released? So why is this attached to GA depo, is it the duct tape, but it's not the gas can, it is back of her car, the stain outline, and 336, well that is not duct tape after it's removed it looks like it's before it was removed from a skull (to me)
Um. Has anyone else downloaded these?
Bug

IMO it "could" be bugout. If so I'm sure it was a mistake.

It sure does point out how horrific it's going to be for the jury to see some of the photos they'll have to look at.

I tried to lighten it and to reverse the color but it didn't help. Once bugout mentioned it could be tape wrapped around a mouth, I could actually see that.

BUT you have to imagine what George's reaction would have been if that's what the photo really was, so it probably wasn't that.

Maybe Baez already revealed the pictures to the family so they would be well prepared for the depos, and any future court hearings.
Just so George wouldn't have to excuse himself to throw up like the photos of Casey-- whatever those were and I doubt we ever get to see them. lol Prolly don't want to either... lol

In-between reading, posting and spitting up in my mouth....

This is bad, bad, real bad.

Actually, the collateral damage in this case goes MUCH further than the Anthonys.

Baez may very well have had a reasonable career, were it not for Casey. LOTS of others will try and jump on the Anthony "bandwagon" before this is over too. How many times can you divide up "future proceeds"? (what IS half of nothing?)

Remember Geragos? Worked for Scott Peterson? He was a regular on late-night TV..........UNTIL.

Hey, at least Scott's parents HAD some dough. This game that Baez is playing amounts to professional suicide.

Win-Lose-Draw! I will put nothing past him. MO Only.

That seems so odd to me for some reason--

George explained that some cap was missing and he used duct tap to cover that part of the can. He also said he didn't put the Henkle brand tape on there. (Suggesting someone else did). He said it was too sloppily done to be his work.

 I love it when Lyons inquires about how much longer because she has a hungry child in her office..... AND DB tells her to go ahead go she wasn't there on Monday at all, Baez was. Then Lyon is like: what is that suppose to mean? LMAO

Later a question is brought up about LB and Cindy talking about immunity... LB doesn't hold back now does she-- she states it was on the record and then goes through another spill with Cindy. I don't see how they don't want to just rip their own hair out talking to Cindy.

What else is that dipstick going to say? The tape was not anywhere near the cap of the gas can. It was on the top side. Good Lord, George, if you are going to lie, do it well or STFU. You are digging yourself a deeper grave than you already have. I can't wait for the day that Cindy and George are indited for obstructing.

He may have said vent cap or something like that. I read it in his depo but I can't look at it right now. Its on my computer at my house. Is there a vent on gas cans? I don't know much about gas cans. Never even held one I don't think.

whoa. I just read to the last pages of GA depo. I didn't know that LE actually goes thru WP to see what words are used when and how often in a depo. Is this a sort of test that LE uses to see how often a subject may use words, as to whether or not they are lying? I've never seen this before. *snipped!*

FWIW... there is usually a "word count" thing at the end of the deposition transcripts, at least in the law office i work in. it is usually only attached to the "condensed transcript," however. a "condensed transcript" is basically where there are 4 pages of transcript on each page, both sides of the paper. the word count thing does make it easier for the lawyers (or LE, imo) to easily locate "key words" when needed. sheesh... i hope this response made SOME kind of sense.

Hi Sunbunny!

Thank you! Never heard it explained that way. Transcripts are miserable...IMO. Quadruple spacing...for what? Hours of loading PDFs?

Question is, when they display the armpit high ream of paperwork in this case, are they doing it that way? My guess would be no? TIA.

:seeya: from what *I* have ascertained in my 20+ years of legal secretary-ism, the transcripts are basically double-spaced for ease of reading and referencing (the numbered pleading lines on the left margin). Single-spaced stuff makes your eyes go , IMO. unfortunately, depo transcripts introduced in trial are NOT the condensed copies, and more times than not, that is why you see lawyers dragging suitcases of paperwork behind them! it's ridic, but.....

for the record.. in my office, we get "e-transcripts" emailed to us. but the court reporter still has to send us hard copies "SEALED" for court-use only. so, we kinda save half the trees!

It is my take that the videos/photos Casey was taking from the home to Baez's office -- that question to Cindy is what sent Baez into orbit...geeze he did not want any of that on the record and even told Cindy to zip it...!! He stated this information was sealed.... could this be when they went in camera for how Baez was getting paid????
Man.. he did not want that to be discussed .... nice little tit-4tat going on that room over that one.... LOL LOL

What they should do is put down large pictures of Caylee's remains. Maybe starring at them for a while will shake their memory and help them recall what Casey did to Caylee. Maybe a little reality will shake George up enough to tell the truth.

Bala- you just gave me a thought that I think the State should use when the case goes to trial.

You mention putting down large pictures-

I hope that for effect and for the reality of how Caylee ended up- that they do just that, with photos and with replicas.

-Have a car trunk in the court room with the plastic bags filled with the approx. weight Caylee was at the time of her death

-using George's words from his depo saying he heard the maggots in the trunk

There was a a pizza box and there was maggots inside of the box -- I mean, in that bag. I remember specifically because they were making a cracking sound, like hamburger on a skillet. pg. 221-222 on pdf file

-then see if an audio tape could be played that would be similar to that sound

-Later, have replicas of a child's size skull, leg and arm bones, etc. placed on the floor to show how her remains had been scattered from the laundry and garbage bags also placed on the floor

-while playing the 911 calls of Krunk reporting seeing a child's skull with duct tape

-while having a split screen up showing on this day- we believe Caylee was dead and on that day here is Casey seen doing_____texting this____photographed attending____

-and go thru the actions and activities of Casey's 31 days while a picture of the garbage bags stays on the left- maybe switching it with pictures from the swampy wooded lot

to show-

Caylee's Reality for Each Day vs. Casey's Reality for Each Day

imo

Oh that was his Mom's laptop but she really didn't like it so it pretty much bacame Casey's. AND he didn't claim to adjust anything except getting the word out about Caylee, and then later deleting facebook, mysapce photos because the media was releasing photos. Oh the webs they weave.

Oh and Lee thinks Jessie did a bunch of stuff to Casey's accounts because for some reason Jessie knew about Casey's password:
timer55.

Lee's and Cindy's depos I haven't tackled yet- was gone from the house for the evening and just finished up on the last few pages of George's.

But I've read all the posts of those that did and was already shaking my head, which has been a regular habit when it comes to the Anthony family for the past 15 months. imo

Quite a few things stuck out with what George said, some I posted about earlier- the later pages had him saying-

"I think my family has been pretty good about controlling our temperament and stuff" pg. 312

Discussing his investigation of a homicide back in Ohio and how it took a year to arrest the man responsible he states

“..the stuff that we did 20 some odd years ago is not what it is today. I mean, today it’s really awesome".

(huh, so does this mean he doesn’t think like Cindy and Baez, that it’s all junk science?!)

He also does not accept that the remains on Suburban are the remains of Caylee pg 330

Q- But is there any other reason why you don’t accept that as Caylee?
A- Because I just can’t believe that Caylee is gone. That’s from a grandfather’s point of view and I just don’t.

The selling his soul really got me as well....<shudder>
