I can't believe I actually read the entire deposition for Lee Anthony.
He accuses TonE of lying to him that first night, then decides to play everyone against each other, (Ricardo-Jessie-TonE) and then states what
a looney Amy is and a drug addict that uses heroin! AND to this day he thinks Jessie is Zenaida and that Caylee is NOT really dead.
He believes Caylee is alive!!
ALSO he was the f-word (in depo) pizzed about his Mother telling him Dom was in the woods searching for Caylee. Lee went off about this because
that was proving they were looking a DEAD Caylee.
Oh yea.. just love his excuse for the bat phones. AND since Casey is still NOT talking he thinks she is covering for the fear of the family's safety that Jessie is responsible.
Why oh why-- did I punish my blood pressure by reading his lies...???

Thanks Lapis, I guess we can expect another motion. >sigh<
Maybe...maybe not. The court seemed to indicate that Casey would have to swear to the facts not in dispute (and presumedly provide sworn testimony of others). They may not wish to go this route. They have filed the motion and made a record. They may just use this for an appeal later. JMO

Well I am reading Cindys and her children never needing punishment they were good and that Caylee could speak full paragraphs at two. Also that Casey BORROWED money from her.
Has anyone learned as to why the State filed these latest three depositions (Cindy, George & Lee) with the court at this time?

I suppose he will need to roll up those sleeves and get to work finding somebody, or something. Hopefully this will put a damper on his holidays. :tongueside:
Baez hasn't taken anything serious in this case thusfar, so I doubt he starts working on it anytime soon....!! lol
He still hasn't start his depositions and research from Tim's searchers.
He is all about delay - delay- delay- and not working on this case, unless of course he can make another appearance in front of the cameras. Baez will have great holidays, and not miss any sleep over
his 'girl'... she is locked up and keeps him going for 'free' advertising.
Gotta love it that he is using her like she has used so many others!!
She believes him- that he is really working hard to get her off... :)

i am getting to the thought that the prosecutors will introduce the whole anthony lying family as hostile witnesses don't see anyway around it....they are all fowl lying scum and now they have a book deal on the table BEFORE everything has been settled at her trial the book title should be called "LIES, AND HOW TO DISGRACE YOUR GRANDAUGHTER FOR MONEY":cursing::cursing:

Do you believe whoever becomes Casey's appellate attorney would use Baez & Co.'s legally flawed motion in an appeal?
The argument would be that the court erred in its determination that the motion was legally flawed. Remember the court ruled that the reliance on the discovery documents was not enough to carry the day. The argument would be similar to that made today. Casey cannot swear to facts not in her personal knowledge. She cannot swear to what the ME found for example. On appeal, the argument would be that they should have been allowed to rely on the discovery documents provided by the prosecution. That the court should have accepted those "facts" as true and ruled on the merits.
Additionally, they could argue that the presentation of a legally flawed motion was ineffective assistance of counsel. JMO

Hi Ellie - I've only completed Cindy's so far.
* She now says the smell in the car wasn't so much of a concern to her.
* She now admits the battery was removed so that Casey didn't come home and take the car back.
* She admits they got $20,000 for the CBS show airing tomorrow night.
* She was on short term disability but now is on a 2 yr long-term disability and collects rent from Lee. This is how she's paying the bills.
* She believes Ricardo is gay or bi-sexual. (JP too apparently.)
* The "people being watched" that George referred to were Amy, Ricardo, Tony, etc.
That's all I can remember right now.

Learned a couple of new things, I've posted about it, but it's getting lost cause of the hearing. I guess the biggest thing, was that Cindy admits Casey 'borrowed' a CC and ran up 5k.

Has anyone learned as to why the State filed these latest three depositions (Cindy, George & Lee) with the court at this time?
and why they only seem to be on WFTV's site? (I downloaded them to my computer in case they disappear.)
I am reading George's depo with the State. http://www.wftv.com/pdf/21310228/detail.html
page 116 beginning on line 15
George: ....I know when Cindy and I separated, the one thing she said was: If you want to leave that's fine. But Casey and Caylee are always going to stay. You know if I wanted to get up and just go, you know, that was my decision. But, you know, she just knew that where Casey was at and where Caylee was at was their refuge, their home. Even thought it was still my home, but she just says: they'll just stay here with me. She says: Three women can function together, you know, without having a man around; which they proved that. They can function pretty well without me, so --
IOW, George it will be Cindy/Casey's way or there is the door.
jmo
If they were functioning so well why is Caylee dead and her mother sitting in jail?

Meanwhile, the defense was ordered Friday to turn over, by February 1, any evidence it might have to back up its claim that someone else placed Caylee's body in the woods last year (motion | defense response).
"Is there gonna be a bombshell on February 1st,” WFTV reporter Kathi Belich asked Casey’s attorney, Jose Baez.
“There will be something. There definitely will be something,” Baez said.

Well if Casey "borrowed" the money, under normal circumstance Cindy would have had charges brought against her for calling 911 with false information. On her call she claims she needed to bring "someone" in to be arrested on theft charges.

IIRC from reading late last night, Cindy said she is under FMLA with Gentivia. This can't be true since FMLA is only for 12 weeks. Besides, we all know she has no plans to return to work now that she has a new and lucrative 'career'. But WTH, not much that she spews is the truth.

Q. What time did she go to bed that evening (June 15th), if you recall?
A. Oh, man. We probably stayed up and watched Desperate Housewives together. I tucked the girls in and I stayed in Casey's room and watched that with them. So probably maybe 10:00 or so.
Q. Now, earlier we talked about whether or not Caylee had a schedule. Did she have a bedtime?
A. Yes.
Q. What was it?
A. Caylee usually went down somewhere betwen 8:30 and 9:30.
Q. Okay.
A. And Caylee would have already been sleeping. But a lot of times I would join them because Caylee slept in Casey's bed. And we would just stay up and watch TV and Caylee would be there sleeping and we -- she'd be between us.
Q. All right. Did Caylee sleep with Casey a lot?
A. Every night.
Q. Okay.
A. She didn't sleep in her bed during the night, just during the day, for a nap once in a while. But it's usually on Casey's bed.

He grabbed a note pad that first night law enforcement showed up after the 911 call... he was in the room next to Casey's where he could hear everything... and then ends up in the garage alone with Casey.

Jose Baez, attorney for Casey Anthony called defective lawyer by former client
Diaz claims he lost his case and was convicted of manslaughter and child abuse because of Baez’ trial strategy and performance, including his decision not to disclose pertinent evidence to prosecutors. Diaz insists this prevented the jurors from viewing an important defense video.

Cindy recounted an event from a Sunday night. Not, imo, the Sunday night in question. This is vintage Cindy. She suddenly remembers she and "her girls" cuddled up on Casey's bed to watch Desperate Housewives on Father's Day evening? Suurrree they did. And if she were challenged with this mis-truth? She would simply say that's what they did on many Sunday nights, and maybe she has her Sunday nights mixed up. She can't remember exactly. Her memories of that period have grown fuzzy what with her lack of food and not getting a full night's sleep in over a year.
This is the kind of thing you can't really argue with ... and Cindy knows it. But, no worries. Her maker will argue with her plenty at the end of her days. I've never seen such evil in two women as I see in Cindy and her daughter.
That's why Cindy say's SUMDAY's because she knows her daughter was at the club on Friday's and Saturdays so she tried to play it smart....she wouldn't want them to produce a video for a night that she claims they all watched TV together....
They all think they are being slick....they are a bunch of air heads..the defense, Casey and the Anthony's.....all a bunch of air heads...

Does Cindy think all the jurors are going to be wearing a dunce cap. Does she truly believe that people will believe that being months behind on her mortgage and having a heavy credit card debt she wasn't upset a Casey for stealing her credit card and putting her $5K farther into the hole. Doesn't she realize comments like this will be what help convict Casey.

Something tells me George didn't get many calls.
Another version of the events of June 16 per George: http://www.wftv.com/pdf/21310228/detail.html
page 150 line 11:
I think Caylee got up probably around 7:30, eight o'clock that morning. I know she saw Cindy just before she left. And I know that her and I went out and gave her some cereal, some juice and some more coffee and ...
Didn't Cindy say she did not see Caylee before she left for work on June 16?

Your right...it couldn't be the night in question...I doubt that Cindy was cuddled up with Caylee and Casey after finding out that Casey had stolen from her father's assisted living account...There was no cuddling that night.....maybe a murder, but no cuddling....

Huh, sounds like I should hurry and get to Cindy's interview. Thanks for your input, Betty!

I swear I heard Ford say that Baez' client in the above case is appealing due to ineffective counsel.
Verily.
"A Lake County man, serving a 15-year prison sentence in the death of a toddler, wants his manslaughter and child-abuse convictions overturned, citing judicial and prosecutorial misconduct and the "defectiveness" of his defense lawyer, Jose Baez."
Nilton Diaz (http://crimesearchersonline.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=31&func=view&catid=13&id=20149)
I believe the appeal was denied.
You missed it.

Regardless whether the writer(s) of CayleesPlace.com is the troll or some other person, they might be affiliated some way with the Anthony camp. If so, this excerpt from the site is kind of interesting:
"Cadavers stolen, height of child based on bones, foot size, old injuries to long bones, tests from tooth which could have come from live Caylee?"
Is it possible someone is trying to build "evidence" that Caylee is still alive? Or could this website just be someone playing a joke?
I felt then, as I do now, that they do not really believe Caylee is still alive, but they wanted to pretend they do in order to provide "reasonable doubt" to potential jurors. JMO, of course.

Well yes, and he said it wasn't finding jurors that have never heard of this case, but jurors that can be fair and impartial, and listen to the Judge's orders. Yet he feels it will take a long time to seat a jury and questions how many panels they will have to go through before they find 12 jurors. So, he must have little faith in the people of Fl in terms of being fair, and impartial.

ut oh george...another lie..
Q> When do you recall approx. when you first saw casey or Caylee that morning?
A. I think Caylee got up at 7:30 or 8:00 that morning. I know she saw cindy just before she left. And I know her an I went out and gave her some cereal, some juice and made more coffee..
Oh george you said earlier you never seen them until casey and Caylee was leaving.
Then you said you took Caylee out to the car and put her in her seat..
Then you said you gave Caylee her breakfast that morning as you usually did.
Oh and george cindy said she never seen them at morning but she knew they were home cause she heard them sleeping..
Oh george it would have been much better if you told the truth from get go then you would have to worry about trying to keep all your lies straight..
I'm catching on. It is much, much easier to read through these depositions with the task of looking at "what they aren't saying" rather than what they are saying.
Cindy make a point to say that she saw Casey's car the morning of June 16th, but then goes on to say that it was either in the driveway or on the street. Huh? If she saw it, why wouldn't she know where she saw it. Which sort of makes me think that maybe it wasn't there.

What I don't understand is the defense whining about not being able to see the crime scene and how it looked before being torn apart by LE. Why don't they ask Casey what it looked like? She had first access to the scene even!! :tonguewag:

It actually happens often by a non-custodial parent.
We had a case here in Iowa where the parent was charged with kidnapping. She participayed with having her son chained in an unfinished basement and allowed her boyfriend to abuse the boy. The older sister finally reported it to the authorities.
(typos are all mine)
Ok, George was asked about night of the 15th, but his reply is "We probably..." If that was his last evening with KC and Caylee for a full 31days would not a normal person remember if they had laid in bed w/ KC and Caylee that night? Wouldn't a normal person remember those last moments spent together as a family? I think I am pretty darn normal (no really:tongue:) but when my sis died I remember our last conversation, where we were, what we did, and I even remember the first song heard on the radio w/o her.
How in the world does he not know? Doesn’t he boast about his detective life? Very bad George... and I am not buying his stories. He is so open ended with his answers in that interview.

It cracks me up that Cindy is taking the blame for the chloroform searches. Why hasn't she fessed up to supposedly being the one who could have caused those searches?
BTW, Wasn't it revealed that she was at work during the time those searches took place?
She's going to get sliced & diced under cross-examine.

I like how when asked if she took her dogs to the vet - she said she didn't because she realized that her dog just liked to sleep a lot.. So she thought something was wrong with her dog because he sleeps a lot and was vomiting, looked up chlorophyll and found that it can cause dogs to get sick, but then ultimately decided that her dog is just lazy, a lot like her daughter..

Yes it does. My favorite article after I came home from the gym:
The court hearing was a lot shorter than it was supposed to be, because Casey's defense team made some legal snafus. The defense took a pounding in court; it couldn't have some of the hearings it wanted to have because it didn't do what it should have.
The defense failed to provide a witness list for one of the issues and gave legal notice to the sheriff's office instead of the county to prepare for the jail camera issue (read motion), but the sheriff has not run the Orange County jail since 1987.

Well, yeah, but to read his words admitting his short comings and yet trying to give himself props at how amazing he was at failing- it's an odd deal...
I see they touch upon his suicide letter by describing it as
"the note from Daytona" pg 133 of the pdf doc
then it appears that he is quoting from George's 'note' -
"I blame myself for her being gone. You know for months, as a matter of fact, for a year or so I brought stuff up, only to be told not to be negative."
George explains that the statement has to do with 'the jobs and things like that'
apparently referring to Casey's jobs and his suspicions of those jobs.
Just an odd dichotomy with this family- on one hand it seems that the children aren't really ever 'told' what to do, because they were raised to be 'leaders' and not followers...and the A's have stated how Casey is an adult and that they weren't going to interfere or ask about things like- will the father be financially responsible for Caylee
and yet-
here is a grown man, the husband, father and grandparent being told not to be negative, not to get involved, not to follow Casey, try to track her down at the workplace,
dad- I'll handle it George, I'll handle it
at least he does mention there was strife in the family.

good point sammy- it should be more damaging, because there are no fingerprints of the invisinanny on the gas cans (or on Casey's car, or on the dvds Cindy turned over, or on the backpack, or on the inflatable bed, or the hair straightener, on the shed doors, etc.)
Casey never said to anyone that Zanny had to help her get gas during the times she ran out
no neighbors saw a Zanny at the A's home, in any vehicle, in the A's backyard.

While I agree with you about the probability.. I just wanted to point out that there are some people who think she's innocent.. People who watch NG nightly and supposedly have reviewed the evidence.
The problem for Baez is that this is a rarity and finding one in the jury pool would be like winning the lotto.
During the jury voir dire - Baez and co. should ask questions like, "Do you believe in unicorns?".. "Do you believe in UFOs?"... "Do you believe in Bigfoot?"... Because you'd have to have a really abstract brain to believe that Zanny exists.

"As she got older, she had, you know a set breakfast. She’d get up, as she got older, she would get her own breakfast. She could go in and get a cup of cereal and watch her own movies…."
uhm, At two years old Caylee would get up and make her own breakfast and turn on the video player and select her own movie? Anyone believe this? It has been a while but I remember there is no way my son could have done this at that age.
I have two young children, too and this is BS. And if it's true, it suggests neglect. Casey may have put those things in reach for Caylee and showed her how to help herself because Casey wanted to sleep in. What a lazy, sorry excuse for a Mother. As parents, we all have our days that we don't feel 100% and find distractions for our kids so we can have a bit of a break. But a 2 year old being expected to get her own cereal and entertain herself is neglect, pure and simple. She could have choked on her "breakfast"! :flamemad:

Yes it does. My favorite article after I came home from the gym:
The court hearing was a lot shorter than it was supposed to be, because Casey's defense team made some legal snafus. The defense took a pounding in court; it couldn't have some of the hearings it wanted to have because it didn't do what it should have.
The defense failed to provide a witness list for one of the issues and gave legal notice to the sheriff's office instead of the county to prepare for the jail camera issue (read motion), but the sheriff has not run the Orange County jail since 1987.

It will be interesting to see if George can produce the people he had watching Jesse, Amy, etc. And how he is going to later explain the ''nine times'' Caylee was moved. Is he going to continue with his assertion those people were involved and say where they moved Caylee too? Because he clearly said in prior interviews the people were being watched and had moved Caylee nine times. Hello dear sweet Martha,
I hope everything is ok in your world. Yes, it is hard making sense of what is true and just fictional with the A's. Every once in awhile I do believe something they say.. and I do believe that little Caylee was probably doing a lot of things herself, since no one seemed to have the time for her.
I am recalling how Amy said that Casey brought Caylee to a party one night & Caylee fell asleep on the couch.. she woke up and started to cry.. Amy said that Caylee then looked into her eyes and slowly went back to sleep. Imagine how scary that would be for a child.. waking up to a bunch of strangers - drinking & carrying on.. with her mother nowhere in sight.
That was a typical day in the life of Caylee.. it's very upsetting to think about.

Well, she made it clear she didn't like Jesse early on in the investigation, so I don't think that would have been her point. (maybe)
I think it's her way of casting a negative light on those young men, as if it meant they were dangerous and deviant. I don't think it's going to go over well with jurors who are gay or have relatives that are gay. She doesn't seem to realize that these days, in Fl at least, it is no longer a dirty shameful thing to be gay, and the gay/lesbian community is a force to be reckoned with.

That was just another one of Casey's lies. I guess the purpose of Casey telling Cindy that Ricardo & JP are gay is so she could spend the night & Amy/Ricardo/JP's without Cindy getting upset..? Nobody can tell me that Caylee wasn't "on" some kind of drugs from those photos of her, during her last two months. She looked tired and out of it, and in no way like a normal healthy little 2 1/2 year old.

I'm telling you this at the risk of being called a bad mother... but my eldest son used to do this when he was two. There was a time that I was quite ill and my husband was away working a lot. I would get a bowl of cereal ready the night before, put milk in a sippy cup and he could do his own breakfast. And no problem with turning the TV on and popping in a VHS tape.
I hate to stand up for Cindy in any possible way, but I do believe this one part of her depo.
Well, Annie, that makes two of us, but I don't think we were bad mothers.
Sometimes my daughter got up and spilled cereal into her cup and watched cartoons.
I didn't see anything wrong with it, occasionally --and I still don't. Thing is, I spent the other 23 hours with her. That pretty much makes up for cartoon watching alone.
That's not what makes KC and Cindy lousy mothers, the sippy and the cereal and the vids. It's more to do with the trunk of the car, calling it pizza smelling, and of course, the duct tape, which will wind up being the PERIOD at the end of the last sentence of this whole sad story.

I just heard something strange on WESH local 5 o'clock news orlando.
They were pointing out georges description of why he knew there was pizza in the trunk.
this is not word for word "I knew there was pizza and maggots because you could hear them munching and it sounded like hamburger sizzling."
Think about that: that would be alot of maggots and a 35 lB pizza to have a noise like that.
but it struck me as a crazy statement( I know, everything they say is crazy) but this is different: we know there was no pizza in the box, so it makes me think GA did open Caseys trunk around the gas can time,. and heard what he describes, otherwise how on earth would you create that description?

He talked to Lee and Lee told him when he gets home they need to talk.. UT OH he said cindy told him outside that Caylee. was missing but never said the nanny had taken her. That he remembers..However when cindy was on the phone talkng to 911 you can hear her telling george that Caylee was missing.. Oh boy this smells to high heaven. IMO they all knew and was setting up this little charade period!.. This is all a scam they knew from get go that Caylee was dead and they were trying to cover caseys azz .and they all should be charged with murder... IMO
This is the most upsetting of all.
They know "to a man", that Casey is guilty, but they don't care.
What a SAD society we all live in, that will reward these people enough that they actually quit their jobs to live off of little Caylee's desiccated bones. The "Media" in this Country perpetuates this fiasco! Where is the end?

Ok, going back to find the link.
Its in george's depo.. just read it not too long ago.. Had to be thousand's imo to make that much noise. they all knew Caylee was dead.. IMO they also knew how long it would take for her little body to completely decompose.. By the time anyone called and reported Caylee missing she was already reduced to tiny little bones..IMO

IMO the end will only come when the whole family is behinds bars and can NOT make a dime off of their crimes. Until then it will continue

Thought just slapped me upside my head. The bat phones there was 4 of them.. Wonder if they can prove when they were bought? What if the whole dang family was in contact over those 31 days with the bat phones. then just used the other phones on a limited basis? Waiting hoping car would be stollen. then when it wasnt cindy mistakenly used her reg phone to text casey...They all know prepaid phones cant be traced..no bills no evidence..

It reminds me once again of the story, "The Tell-Tale Heart".
One of these days (I pray) that man is going to completely lose it and tell the TRUTH!!
I wouldnt be surprised if he went totally insane over this. The smell, the sounds, they dont go away.

It will continue until we - the general public - stop watching this garbage and refuse to buy from their sponsors.
And by "garbage" I mean all the reality shows in general, as well as the whole "celebrity as bad boy" media reports.
We're buying, so they will keep selling it.

That just can't be said too much at every turn of this case, for sure.

That's the sickest part of all. They KNOW.
Yet they hopped right on the Caylee Gravy Train. No wonder Casey is mad when they only replenish her commissary account when the newspapers report she has a deficit.
Hopefully, the men that were contributing from ALL across the world are now in a padded room.

OMG your prolly right. And it is his depo, i didnt get that far,but I had the news on but was doing something else.It stopped me in my tracks.
I wouldnt be surprised if Casey just left Caylee in the trunk for someone to find. We sure know she was lazy..... I guess it depends on how spiteful she was feeling.

I know someone will correct me if I'm wrong but IIRC it was Jose's idea for them to get these phones. Now I just have to remember where I read this.
How about Jose almost having a conniption during Cindy's depo? He really had to stop her from saying "something."
When I go and get excited about there going to be another court hearing, would you all please just pick up a hammer and beat some sense back into me. Please.
I had hoped to hear what was happening in the criminal check/fraud case, but it seems like all that happened was off camera. And, video feed appeared to be down for the start of the court hearing.
...ok, I'll admit that I did enjoy the part where Casey got up and exited the courtroom. I could hear chains clanking.
