WHOAAA, how the heck can the defense claim the perp is a "stanger" when their own client says it's Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez??? Macaluso and Co are disregarding Casey's own statements about what happened. I don't see how the heck they can take this direction, since it doesn't jive with either of their innocent client's stories. What about Zenaida and her sister, and the invisible list of demands/instructions, and the 55 days, and the call from Caylee, (this stranger had Casey's cell #??) and and and....

Well, I think that explains why Maggie Rodriguez is giving the softball interviews of the defense team and the Anthony's in this case.:sneaky: She wants to be the first one to interview Casey after the trial. She has to stay on their good side in order to do that. I have much more respect for reporters like Kathi Belich that are not afraid to ask the hard and tough questions.

Unfortunately in this case as well as others where the media is concerned, it's all about money. Just as the Anthonys are, so is CBS. They want the exclusive for ratings and money. Unfortunately for them, too many are upset by this and will boycott them and their sponsors and let the sponsors know. There has to be a shred of decency coming from someone and the general public will make itself known. And thank Heavens for the ability to do so. MOO

As a matter of law, the Prosecution cannot establish that Miss Anthony committed a capital felony in which the victim was particularly vulnerable because the defendant stood in a position of familial or custodial authority over the victim.

I have lots of things on my walls, including some documents, including diplomas and that kind of thing, achievements and documents celebrating ceremonies -- good things -- not death certificates. They go in the basement in the locked filing cabinet. They are mostly for legal and genealogical purposes, and I wouldn't want to look at them every day because being "normal" it would make me sad.

I think most NORMAL people hearing this are shocked not sympathetic ... Most NORMAL people don't display death certificates of their loved ones, period! Making a shrine out of Caylee's room ... well ... people dealing with the loss of a loved one often leave their room intact, it's a part of the grieving process and letting go ... but a death certificate ? no, not a part of the NORMAL grieving process ...

I thought that I just saw this info, but now can't remember where I saw it. I think the major impact will be in court tomorrow. Don't really understand the inner workings of the SA's office but I'm sure they've thought this through completely and have an excellent plan. :smile:

I've gotten the impression that there was bigtime fighting/arguing going on between George and Casey during Apr/May/June 2008. Maybe to the point where Casey would avoid George when in the home, and if Cindy spent the night up in Mt. Dora, Casey would take Caylee and sleepover at Ricardo's apt.

Cindy's boss indicated in her LE interview, that Cindy asked for time off during the daytime hours in late June.

Was this around the time he chased Casey in a car, supposedly going through a tolltag booth -- which he later said was at a different time -- I think when the gas cans were stolen, he was genuinely trying to track Casey down and may have reported them stolen to find her -- grasping here, I don't remember all the details. I so agree w/you, summer. I think they want to interview Casey after the trial. Maggie Rodriguez even said so in one of her quotes about the 48 Hours Show. She said something along the lines that she hoped to be able to interview Casey after the trial whether she was in jail or out. She probably did softball interviews of The Anthony's and Casey's defense team because she wants to have the opportunity to someday interview Casey.:sneaky:

Only up to page 50 but George sure seems to gloss over certain aspects. Just applied and got a job with the Sheriffs Dept. Not one word about Police Academy any classes he'd take to become a detective. Just move thru those ranks fast, by, well by just being there. Orlando police dept quite interested in him ay? But Cindy didn't know what he was up to there? Did George turn them down or did they turn George down? Interesting. George's arena job. Evey description except to say he was the night watchmen.

Another gloss over was the "family business" and his own "business". They just noticed it wasn't quite profitable. So much not quite a profit they filed for bankrupcy?

How was Cindy able to assume a mortgage? Notice George said Cindy not we assumed it. She only worked part -time in Ohio, just started a job, bankrupcy that was just closing and she assumed a mortgage?

They didn't even start working when they arrived in FLA until after a month or so. I see some financial follies that someone probably helped them get out of. George will never say.

So Cindy is caught in another mis-truth. "They" were discussing no such thing, imo, nor were there offers from photography schools. It wasn't as if Casey was all packed and ready to go off to photog school, but then OOPS, she turned up pregnant. Casey didn't graduate high school, laid around for 6 months (pun intended), and wound up pregnant.

Cindy is absolutely pathological with the mis-truthing. I doubt she could tell a straight up story if her very life depended on it.

I definitely think Casey learned some of her "skills" from Cindy... and can I just say that it is so much easier on the nerves to read a transcript of Cindy, than to watch video of her? She much less frustrating on paper, than in person.

I wish Cindy would stop with the "half-truth" adjective... Although some of Casey's lies had fibers of truth in them - the ones Cindy is talking about in this interview are straight out lies, not half-truths/semi-truths/mistruths.. they're LIES!

So Cindy is caught in another mis-truth. "They" were discussing no such thing, imo, nor were there offers from photography schools. It wasn't as if Casey was all packed and ready to go off to photog school, but then OOPS, she turned up pregnant. Casey didn't graduate high school, laid around for 6 months (pun intended), and wound up pregnant.

Cindy is absolutely pathological with the mis-truthing. I doubt she could tell a straight up story if her very life depended on it.

Honestly, All My Children couldn't create half this mess....

Cindy's the one that figured it out, pitched a fit and dropped it? Casey got into another class and the teacher was doing things different so Casey got zero's, switched to another. Unbelievable!!!

Who knew dropping a semester would cause this What the HECK!!!!

What utter nonsense that they just found out either a day or two days before graduation. IMPOSSIBLE! Senior year you know well in advance where you stand.

I would like to hear about Casey from Casey's teachers. What she was like in their classroom...what stories she would have for not having her homework finished... I wonder if any of her teachers will be called to elaborate on exactly WHY Casey didn't graduate. Probably not important, but I am semi-amused by those "show Cindy saying one thing...then showing the complete opposite being said in the next moment...scenes."
