She's back to being broke, lol, with nobody to steal from. Maybe a letter to Mom and Dad about how there was some misunderstanding with the jail accountant and till it gets straightened out, please send money for chips and jalapeno dip.

Good morning everyone. Good planning Ms. Gator and thanks for this morning's thread.
Interesting to me about poor KC not having george and cynthia depositing money into her commissary account. Perhaps george and cynthia are helping her go from the current plump and pimply* KC to the former "10" of the Hot Bod Contest?
I am amazed at the absolutley indecipherable sentence structure that Summer provided for us. How on earth will Judge Stan be able to rule on this gibberish?

I bet Casey is PO'ed that George stopped sending her money.
Why on earth is she being allowed to get in the negative with her jail house, no interest, no checking/debit card, account?
Typical of Casey, she doesn't bother balancing her account to know she's run out of other peoples money, lmao.
It must be a jail house accounting error.

Oh, oh, I may have figured out the discrepency in Casey's jail account.
Alot of Florida counties are starting charge inmates for each day they're in custody.
Okay, I found an article, and yes, Orange County charges.

the above handbook defines what is provided for inmates and those things available to them at a cost.
Page 11 notes a "daily subsistence fee" of $1.50 per day.
411 times $1.50 equals $616.50.
411 days in Casey's dorm with jalapeno dip still probably falls short of the amount spent on the Anthony's during their stay at the Ritz with crab puffs.
Bella vita.

I think it is partly that in terms of the strangers that have been sending her money. But what about George and Cindy? What about Tracy? Wasn't Tracy sending her $25 increments here and there? Wonder why that stopped. If nobody else sends her money, would her defense team put money in her account or would that make her look bad, like nobody else supports her? I wonder why Lee hasn't ever put any money in her account. If he believes everything his sister tells him then you would think he would want to put money in her jail house account to make her more comfortable, especially w/being wrongly accused and all that.

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/services/newspaper/printedition/monday/orl-casey-anthony-anniversary-101409,0,5235640.story
We were wondering last night about the discrepancy between the donations to her account and the purchases made. There was $383.24 unaccounted for.
I emailed the writer of the above article and received the following reply:
"The rest of the money goes toward paying for the inmate's stay at the Orange County Jail. Florida statutes allow jails to charge inmates a subsistence fee which helps subsidize the state's burden of keeping the inmate at the jail.
Orange County Jail charges $1.50.
If an inmate is found not guilty, then all those fees are reimbursed."
This also explains the negative balance in her account.
George better ante up quick!
And yes, Mr Grey, you did fine. Casey has at least 1 can of jalapeno dip every week.

Haven't been around in a while. I was originally registered as MIWatcher, but then I was banned under that name (which I find odd considering I think I posted about 5 or 6 posts before that happened, but I digress.
Anyway, thinking about the commissary account. You know how Cindy made such a fuss at the tow yard about getting the impound amount reduced...maybe she recently found out about the $1.50 per day charge for the inmate and told George no more deposits. As a means of defiance, as in "If there is no money in there, they can't take that $1.50 out then can they." Cindy has sort of shown her true colors when it comes to putting out money. Just a thought.
So, I am having surgery tomorrow (I have two peroneal tendons that have to be reattached in my right ankle...car accident) so I am going to be on my couch for about 6-8 weeks. I look forward to spending more time here and discussing this case with all of you. Sounds like I scheduled this surgery at a good time, lots of stuff coming up! Hopefully I won't be too high on pain killers to watch 48 Hours on Saturday night (though that might make the show more palatable).

even more interesting is the fact that Cindy already knew that Caylee wasnt with Casey. she did not ask where Caylee was in front of Tony and roommate, nor Amy: no inquiry as to whether she was in the apt, the bedroom, the bathroom), she simply ordered her to leave. Cindy already knew Caylee wasnt with her.
this is another thing that Cindy did not 'offer up' to the FBI and LE. she did not tell them she was in contact with Casey prior to having Amy take her to Tony's.
it took an abandoned car with a deadly stench for her parents to conduct their own welfare check on Caylee. knowing all along she was sneaking back into the home to get her own things, raid the fridge and IMO: something else was way out of the norm that Cindy and/or George have not disclosed. (the blanket was one thing; however, I think something else was 'out of place', or left lying around for them wondering hmmm, and it wasnt the pool ladder).

I've always thought it to be unrealistic that Cindy did not search Tony's apt looking for Caylee, or even ask him about Caylee. Just doesn't make any sense to me. And, I've come to realize that when something doesn't make sense that involves the Anthonys, it is because they are lying.

I've always thought it to be unrealistic that Cindy did not search Tony's apt looking for Caylee, or even ask him about Caylee. Just doesn't make any sense to me. And, I've come to realize that when something doesn't make sense that involves the Anthonys, it is because they are lying.
The fact that they frantically cleaned the car BEFORE they bothered to look for Casey is disturbing also. Their OWN timeline reeks as much as Casey's.
That entire day is so convoluted. Then there's the little trip Cindy and Lee made to her mothers house in the wee hours. Why was that so important in light of Caylee being GONE??

I like it ! How about "non è così bella la vita" ... (not so beautiful life!) :tonguewag:
Well we all know that Caylee was gone when she picked up Amy from the Airport...I'm sure Amy asked where is Caylee to which KC prolly replied with the nanny...then Cindy picked up Amy from the mall and had her take her to Casey...I'm sure Cindy asked and Amy told her Caylee was not with Casey and was at the nanny's...so IMO Cindy already knew Caylee was not with Casey.
I agree....also didn't Amy say that she walked away from Cindy and Casey while they were talking so she couldn't hear them. That could have been when Cindy asked Casey were Caylee was....and got the story that she was with the Nanny.

Cindy and Lee have claimed that was to avoid having the media follow them. However, I suspect the issue is much deeper than just that.

Do you really believe that Cindy thought that there was ever a "nanny?" When Cindy wanted to see Caylee, wouldn't she have phoned this alleged nanny?

There WAS no nanny. There is no way Cindy believed her non-working daughter had a nanny. imo
Do you really believe that Cindy thought that there was ever a "nanny?" When Cindy wanted to see Caylee, wouldn't she have phoned this alleged nanny?
Sun, I NEVER thought Cindy believed there was a "Nanny". IMO, Cindy figured out what happened AFTER she called 911 and AFTER she over-heard Casey and Lee talking (when Casey said she hadn't seen Caylee in 31 days).
It would seem that in the moments following overhearing Casey and Lee's conversation, Cindy put 2 and 2 together and went into "save Casey" mode. It would explain why the ONLY time, IMO, that Cindy ever sounded "normal" was when she made the 911 call. Since then, she has been a train wreck.

even more interesting is the fact that Cindy already knew that Caylee wasnt with Casey. she did not ask where Caylee was in front of Tony and roommate, nor Amy: no inquiry as to whether she was in the apt, the bedroom, the bathroom), she simply ordered her to leave.

Cindy new Caylee was not with Casey...where she thought she was I don't know...I'm not in her head...she prolly thought she was with someone else or because of the evidence in the car...yes she knew she was dead...but she still knew she wasn't with Casey...the end...:biggrin:
Ok.....I gotcha!
IF she thought Caylee was alive she would have searched every square inch of that apt for signs of her. She knew Casey was staying with Tony so why didn't she DEMAND answers from HIM?

I'm just looking at this from my perspective. For instance, if a daughter of mine had moved out with her child from my home, and was shacking up with some guy, you can bet that when I found out where that was, I'd be grilling that fellow within an inch of his life to find out where my grandchild was (especially if my daughter had been putting me off for a month).
That said, applying my own logic to anything that the Anthonys say or do, is probably very, very foolish.

anytime anyone asked where Caylee was Casey said the same thing....with the nanny. IMO, the excitement of the trip and other conversation upon her arrival home, IMO, Amy never asked her. Amy already was told 'there are problems with her family' and Casey was keeping Caylee away from them.
nah, IMO, no conversation about Caylee. in fact, Amy did not tell LE that Cindy asked where Caylee was, if she knew. in fact, all she was concerned about was the CAR. she didnt ask Amy if knew the babysitter/nanny or met her. Cindy did not ask anything about the sitter. she was focused on slandering Casey, offering up her bad deeds, calling her a thief and liar. easily said to Casey's peers, not easily told to her contemporaries.
thats Cindy's 'way'.....dont let anyone know that SHE did not know who the NANNY was and never met her. almost 2 years and never once saw a picture of the nanny, spoke to her or met her. 'there was never a reason', so said Cindy to LE/FBI.
no reason? how about simply validating what her lying, thieving daughter was telling her day in, day out? no effort to confirm a nanny existed prior to Caylee 'disappearing'.
amazing.

Oh No :scared:
It appears that monies deposited into an inmates account must be there 24 hours prior to placing an order. On Wednesdays Casey may place an order for up to $70 in food items and $70 in non food items.
Even if George was intending to now deposit funds, Monday was a holiday (and we all know how the Anthony's feel about those causing them inconvenience or money).
George would have had to deposit money last Friday. Oh dear.
Maybe in between reading law books and her bible, Casey will take advantage of the jail's GED courses.

Good Morning,
I have been reading some of the sites I have bookmarked in the last year and found this one a very good "recap" of what we know to date.
For some reason, I keep thinking about the traffic citations that Zenida Gonzalez received and the ID that LE got from Casey's purse the night of her arrest. We have heard nothing about any of this. Maybe because it means nothing, but I still wonder.
At any rate, this site offers a very interesting time line of events leading up to July 15 and after. It is worth the time.

That fits with the theory many have something was found in the backyard or home on July 3rd, setting off the Caylee is Missing MySpace page, Cindy's visit to Universal, and Lee's Casey reconnaissance mission that same evening. All that activity occurred on July 3rd, followed by a whole lot of backyard landscaping over the July 4th holiday.
Curious.
too bad there is no security camera tape of their activities and comings and goings from July 1st thru the 15th because I have always believed that Cindy A was involved in some way, or possibly GA. They may have been behind how she was dumped; we just don't know.
But I will wait patiently for casey to take the stand and tell the world, how Cindy last had Caylee, and she did not. I think she is going to throw her mother and father under the bus. For sure.

Okay, that's just weird. If you shorten the url to dennismilstead.fatcow.com you get a strange "Information Requested" page that mentions KFN and "Safety in a Flash Inc."
And what's with the "fatcow" thing? What are these people up to now, and why is the cma foundation website attached to this?
Safety in a Flash is an attempt by the Milsteads to respond to the current public concerns regarding the spread of the swine flu. For no apparent reason pictures from the franchise brochure were pasted on one of CMAF's picture pages. This was noted and questioned by IS FLBs, and said pictures were removed.
One guess regarding the fatcow.com connection would be Cindy's concern about another "e-mail" hacking and wanting a safe site, but one could speculate that the fatcow site would be less likely to be subpenaed by the state regarding the murder charges against Casey. The site does accept donations :sneaky:

The jury questionaire is pretty standard, isn't it?
I was on a murder jury a few years ago and they asked about the same questions. I wasn't asked what tv shows I watch and this was a highly publicized trial. They did ask if I anyone had ever heard of the case and how much they knew about it. Then if they had heard of it, did they have any preconceived notions that couldn't be put aside to render a fair verdict.

When Casey first went in (for the second time) and eventually made her first court appearance, I actually thought she looked healthier. She'd been so thin that she seemed emaciated to me, and I thought the added weight she'd already started putting on made her look much better. Now . . . I feel sad. This whole thing . . . God, what a waste. Caylee is gone, Casey will either be executed or spend the rest of her life in prison, an entire family is shattered, innocent people's lives have been - sorry, I can't think of the appropriate tense of "upheave;" "upheaved" doesn't sound right, for some reason - and for what? What exactly did Casey accomplish? The Scott Peterson case inspired the same sense of loss in me. This is what the most recent photo of Casey represents to me.
Regarding the tattoo - it looks to me like just a starting point, very spare and bare bones. I have two small tattoos of my own, and even the largest of those hurt like crazy with no embellishment to it. It makes me wonder if Casey's tattoo appointment that she never got to keep was to have this one added to, because she could only take so much pain getting the black part done. (And yes, I realize that last statement opens the door to a whole WORLD of commentary!)
As always, my own opinion.

Hi kakax :seeya:
No. We were given a form to fill out prior to our day that had basic information. The attys asked the questions in the court room about our knowledge of the case. One thing I did find interesting of the questions we were asked was what side or part of town we lived. Specifically an area called "the hill" where most prominent Augustans live. They were trying to weed out the ones that lived in that area because the crime happened there.
The only question I found odd was the one about swapping careers.
ETA: Jury selection began at 9am and the jury was seated after lunch. Went very quickly in this high profile case. I was only an alternate by the way. I figured the defense had used all their strikes by the time they got to me rofl.

The last time I had jury duty I did not get on a jury, but while I was sitting in a courtroom as other jurors were being selected, those that made it into the jury box WERE asked what their favorite TV shows were. I'm not sure if it was designed to let you know a little something about their personal interests or just to lighten the mood. I have had jury duty several times before but have never seen that type of question asked. (I've also never had to fill out paper questions, they were all asked and answered verbally, either in open court or up at the judges's bench.)
Have our legal eagles here weighed in on that questionnaire? I'm guessing that after the defense makes those suggestions, the two sides come together and decide which questions stay and which get eliminated.

I linked an article this morning that said in Orange County, 50% of the money deposited into an inmates account will be used for their daily 'fees'. So they still have money for commissary orders. They're being very generous by not taking it all. IMO

So true, Sun. And most of all her parents. It was George depositing $100 like clockwork that accounted for most of her jail money - so I do believe they had cut her off.
They'll start up again with the money, you betcha. Not because they give a damn about her anymore but it's like the old commercial with little Mikey and the cereal. "Mikey won't eat it - he hates everything" -- and then you see the little boy glare at his brother in defiance, pick up the spoon and chow down.
George and Cindy are like Little Mikey. They're not going to let anyone mock a member of the *family*. "Georgie get down there and put some money in the account! Now!
I can't get the image of the Wicked Witch of the West out of my head when it comes to Cindy LOL: "Just try and stay out of my way. Just try! I'll get you, my pretty and your little dog too!"

"What will "The Untold Story of Caylee Anthony" be like?
I'll have a preview tonight of the edition of CBS' "48 Hours Mystery," which airs at 10 p.m. Saturday. The show tries to give a more intimate, in-depth look at the case of the little girl and her mother, Casey Anthony, who is charged with the child's first-degree murder.
CBS has posted this preview, and the speakers include Casey's defense attorneys; George and Cindy Anthony, Casey's parents; Jesse Grund, Casey's former fiance; and attorney John Morgan, who is representing Zenaida Gonzalez in a defamation suit against Casey."

IMO, Casey looked a bit unhealthy, as in too skinny when she was first arrested in July 2008. Now, she just appears to look like she's not practicing good overall hygene, and her hair and back are an oily mess. (no full length mirrors in the jail, and perhaps she wasn't aware just how back her back looked) However, she had to have known how her hair looks.

Yup. If there's any sympathy shown to that family I won't be able to take it (I'm sure there will be - the show needs its drama of course).
It's unlikely I'll even make it through the preview, honestly.
I'll read the comments here after the full show has run. That's the best I can do.
ETA: The consolation is I'm sure 48 hours staff had to work triple time to squeeze anything remotely sympathetic out about the family - I mean, you can't get blood from a stone... maybe they used CGI to add tears or something...

I'm finding it interesting to go back and ready Amy's LE interview on July 16, 2008. Lots of interesting thoughts from Amy. For instance when Cindy confronted Casey at Tony's, here was one of Amy's thoughts:
"I imagined myself at 16 getting caught doing something bad. And, that's the way that she was acting."
Thanks for posting this link, Sun, it's always good to go back, unhurried, to read and reflect.
1) Casey stole from Amy:
- $650 plus from checking account
- $400 cash in twenties that Casey said she was sleepwalkiing
- $??? AMy doesn't say how much she paid towing fee for Casey
2) Cindy KNEW Casey was not working and even verified an "other job" that Casey said she worked at and a guy told her no, Casey did not work with him at this supposed "other job."
3) Cindy watched and never said a word while Casey LIED to the detectives at the interview in her home about Universal Studios and never said anything when Casey led them on their wild goose chase to Universal that day. (all this while they are supposed to be frantic about their precious granddaughter, Caylee).
4) LOL about Cindy denying to Amy that George had cheated on her and Amy confirming this to detectives because "Cindy said so..."
5) ALL in that group were so immature - how about the guy getting off the plane from a vaycay in Puerto Rico and heads directly to the mall to buy an iphone??

I'm sure Casey knows when there is a doc dump but I wonder if she knows what all is in that doc dump......

Oh dear.
Maybe in between reading law books and her bible, Casey will take advantage of the jail's GED courses.
it 'appears' that George isnt allowed to touch the money in the anthony household. case in point: the day he was at the impound, CINDY was the one who left work to go to the bank to get CASH.
if GA was 'allowed', there would have been no need to ask Cindy. afterall, he went home to go get the title and waited for her so he could drive the car home.

And again, the door wasn't shut or anything, but she comes into the room, sees that my sister was crying, and she said, and actually the first thing that she asked her, she says, "What have you done?" ... That's the first question that my mom asked her.
I wouldnt consider it an excited utterance because he said it twice.... he continued down that path qualifying that statement, answering the questions and adding and adding and adding on to what transpired at that very moment in time.
something key: Casey and Cindy became combative about 'things in the past' he says, and not the issue at hand, namely: HER SUPPOSED KIDNAPPED CHILD.

It is very apparent whose hands tightly grip the Anthony money bag, however George has in the past contributed $100 to Casey's account. It seems more likely to me that he was running errands for Cindy as opposed to taking independent action on his own.

Somehow I can't imagine the overdrawn acct worries her that much. It can't be the first time she's been without funds. She's just used to having to find a way to get her hands on money outside of bars. I'll bet she's spent the day writing to people bemoaning her situation and playing the sympathy card. I wouldn't put it past her to be playing the guards and other inmates for a free can of chili.

But, I'll bet those photos are truly upsetting to her. She's used to having photoshop available to make herself look as appealing as possible. No unflattering photos for KC.
Casey has seemed to be aware of her appearance, so I'm going to guess that she is very, very angry that those unflattering pics of her were released for the entire world to see. This Friday, she will be made to attend her court hearing, knowing that everyone has seen those unflattering pics. ...I was mostly just shocked by the large size of the tattoo (along with knowing just "when" she got the tattoo).

Hi Des,
Thanks for the links ... I had no idea questionnaire's could be so long and detailed ... I've filled out applications for security clearances that were extremely detailed that didn't ask some of the personal ones on Jose's questionnaire ... geez ... and that was for a Top Secret clearance !!
It really annoys me that this is being done for a fraud/forgery charge ... what a waste of tax payer dollars !! I hope Judge Strickland reigns these defense lawyers in and puts his foot down because it's totally over the top to spend this much time and resources for a charge that she'll be found guilty of anyway ...
Let's face it, anyone else caught in the act on video and charged with this charge would NOT be getting the special treatment that KC is !!

The OrlandoSentinel is having fun with this story. "Jail officials said she has no money in her jail account and cannot make any purchases at the jail's commissary."
From the way she has looked for the last few times in the courtroom and pictures taken of her tattoo, I would say she is better off broke and not ordering the junk food she has been.

even more interesting is the fact that Cindy already knew that Caylee wasnt with Casey. she did not ask where Caylee was in front of Tony and roommate, nor Amy: no inquiry as to whether she was in the apt, the bedroom, the bathroom), she simply ordered her to leave.

CASEY’S JAIL ACCOUNT IN THE NEGATIVE
Casey's jail account is in the red by $8.95.
Since Casey has been behind bars, she has spent over $2,000 on a variety of items, including more than 30 beef sticks, 58 cans of jalapeno dip and 41 bags of chips.
Earlier this year, Eyewitness News reported that strangers from California, Georgia and South Carolina sent Casey money to her jail account.

what I find ridiculous, JB & company wanting the court to make this a two day process........coming back to go thru voir dire?.....most states and counties have one day one trial FOR A REASON.
I would not like to be sandbagged arriving at the courthouse, filling out this form, sit around all day, only to be told TO COME BACK. in my experience, this is not how it works....if that were the case, more people would be armed with excuses if they had to participate in a two day selection process. most people already know if they can participate for one day or one trial. and if they do not get to each group that day, they go into a second day.....on to the next group.
the defense doesnt want to do their job that day. this is an economic crime, not a murder trial, and if it was a murder trial, here is Phil Spector's juror questionnaire. IIRC they didnt gather up the forms and call it a day and call the applicants back for voir dire...and that was a MURDER TRIAL.

Wow! 3000$ worth of junk food and such. I think of all the hungry children out there. That $$$$ would buy alot of healthy food for the food bank. Times are hard.
Glad Casey gets to pay 1.50 a day. She has lest than 40$ after they deduct her $ 8.+ cents. I don't feel sorry for her at all. I was shocked when I saw her back and that ugly tat. Oh, Lord. This just makes my blood boil.

Very, very interesting. Until relistening to your first link, I didn't realize that Robert (the bail bond guy I think), Baez, and Casey were all in the vehicle that was trying to elude the police. (Casey said that they all thought it was the media, and not the cops) Yet, it seems like they ran them off the road. So, Baez was indeed in on that switcheroo that they pulled, with Casey jumping out of Cindy's car and getting in with Robert and Baez.

Just a few days earlier, Baez had motioned the court for the right to allow Casey and him to "drive about" the Orlando area without anyone knowing when or where. Judge Strickland hadn't yet ruled on that motion. It seems to me that Baez may indeed have been trying to do just that, without Judge Strickland's approval. Yet, LE prevented that from happening.

I agree. Even if they feel she is innocent, she is getting fed three times a day. Other struggling families are not able to provide even that now for their children with the economy the way it is. They should rethink who and what they should be contributing to. It's their money of course, but I wish they would look around them. JMHO

Yep, I do know what you mean.. DOJ clearances were/are deep, the other security clearances I got weren't as deep but still done for good reason. I don't understand why a juror would have to "pass" something nearly as strict as a security clearance.
Someone linked the questionnaire used for the Phil Spector trial and I read it for the first time. I don't know why I missed seeing that the first time around. Very extensive and detailed questions, but that was for a murder case, not a stupid little fraud case where they actually have videos of her writing the checks, making purchases and cashing the check at the bank! For crying out loud, they don't need an Einstein to see what Casey did for the fraud charges!

b. The Effects of the National Media Coverage of This Case Are Especially Strong in Orlando
The national media coverage of this case has further exacerbated the effects of the pretrial publicity in Orange County. Although national media exposure reaches potential jurors outside of Orange County, the effect of this national publicity on Orlando residents is particularly significant. For one, national media attention to this case is itself a newsworthy event in the local Orlando press. Such double-reporting highlights the national coverage of this case for Orlando residents in a manner that other consumers of national media do not experience. Furthermore, because the national media is reporting on a topic to which local viewers feel personally connected, even without double-reporting, local viewers are more likely to pay attention to and be affected by coverage of this case...................Finally, the national media coverage of this case fits into a different context for Orlando residents than it does for other individuals. Since members of the Orlando community have been exposed to a large amount of local publicity regarding this case, and have a strong personal connection to this case, they have a more significant base of opinions and emotions into which the national media feeds...............

what I find ridiculous, JB & company wanting the court to make this a two day process........coming back to go thru voir dire?.....most states and counties have one day one trial FOR A REASON.
IIRC they didnt gather up the forms and call it a day and call the applicants back for voir dire...and that was a MURDER TRIAL.
http://www.juryblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/Spector-%20Juror%20Questionnaire.pdf
IMO, they will be told to GET TO WORK. the judge has reserved the time for voir dire, to be present. gather up questionnaires? doubt it.
IMO
best regards,
Pru
*waiting on maggot evidence......*
I think it's ridiculous for the defense to think they can subject potential jurors to "their" questionnaire then "hold" on to them ... I didn't think that's the way it works ... that's a lot of personal information for either side to have ... what's to stop them from doing background checks on the prospective juror's ... how is the confidentially of the court going to be maintained?
Also, in the Spector questionnaire I didn't notice SS#, Race, Home Phone, Empoyment for past 10 years p, divorced (how many times), religious preference, political preference, what are your hobbies ...
Ridiculous (and probably illegal?)

I agree. Even if they feel she is innocent, she is getting fed three times a day. Other struggling families are not able to provide even that now for their children with the economy the way it is. They should rethink who and what they should be contributing to. It's their money of course, but I wish they would look around them. JMHO
Maybe they have an ulterior motive? I have a friend with a 60LB cat! the poor thing can barely breath its so fat. When I asked why they feed it so much, they said they cant help it they LOVE the cat.LOL
Its prolly Cindy making donations, and then sorting through Caseys closet for what wont fit casey anymore.

ITA! One of the questions Jose should have put on his questionnaire is:
Would watching a video of the defendent allegedly committing the crime or seeing checks allegedly signed by the defendent affect your ability to render a not guilty verdict????

LOL! Exactly! They should have held this stupid juror questionnaire until the murder trial, for crying out loud. Even then, I think there are some inappropriate questions in it. The Phil Spector one didn't even want the juror's NAME, let alone their SS# and all the rest of the info Jose & Co. want.
Judge Strickland and the prosecutors were talking about the fraud case only taking a day or two to get through it. The way Jose & Co. are going, the trial would take weeks!

Caseys not going to ask her parents for money. She's ruffing it on her own. With 3000 dollars of free snacks and beauty products. Just like she was going to prove to Cindy she didn't need them when she took Caylee and left the house on June 15. First she got rid of her daughter (too much trouble). Then slept around for a free bed or a couch to flop on. And stole off of everyone trying to help her.
$200 dollars worth of snacks a month is a whole lot of junk food to eat on top of her meals every day. No wonder her clothes don't fit. Maybe she should spend less on the junk food and more on personal hygiene items.

Right, jammies, so where did Cindy think Casey was taking/leaving Caylee when not with her? and Cindy had NO phone number, NO address. This is the height of incompetency for a grandmother. Cindy asks for sympathy for her grief, and I'm sorry, I just don't think she deserves anything. She knew Casey was not a good mother--what was Cindy thinking? They all get their 3 meals and a cot regardless.

(ETA.... no wonder Casey has the muffin top goin' on these days, after all those chocolate chip granola bars, the chips & dip, the skittles, the jerkey, etc. Normally I don't even comment on this (and I'm so proud of myself for holding my tongue with all the 'backne' talk) but this would certainly explain the weight gain. And it does bother me that someone in her 'position' is laying around on her youknowwhat snacking all day....)
Not to mention the high carb jail food and dessert available at every meal, if she wants it. Just for fun, I looked at the items on the commissary form and determined that Casey could actually put herself on a low carb, high protein diet while in jail -- providing she had money in her commissary account ;-) She could even have some of her favorite things: beef jerky, pork rinds and cheese.

And Cindy didn't make that last 911 call, until AFTER Casey said that someone else took Caylee. It was not until Cindy felt that Casey wasn't to blame, that she wanted LE's help in finding Caylee. At that point, Cindy wasn't thinking very clearly, and made the "excited utterance" on the 911 call that we've all heard many, many times.
Excellent point, Sun--Cindy didn't make that call until she could claim SODDI--even though many of us suspect that Cindy knew all along there WAS NO NANNY. So what was going on?

I don't know? I wonder if, at sentencing, in addition to Guilty, they'll say and btw you owe us $$$$.
:)
She has to pay  When money is deposited into her commissary account, 50% is applied to whatever negative balance she has, and she has use of the other 50% for her commissary purchases. She just took a big bump in cost of living

Loved the comment regarding "hot nuts" and how Casey must be "starving" for them. LOL.

Does anyone know if they have released audio or written transcripts of any of Cindy's co-workers other than Charles Crittendon and Debbie Bennett? I'm pretty sure others were taken, but not sure if they have been released.
As for the jury questionnaire, I've been on a couple of juries, one sort of high profile where the defendants were former deputies and there was no jury questionnaire. -- I can see some thing brief for the forgery case but nothing like this. I think whoever it was that said they didn't want anyone to qualify hit the nail on the head.

oops...that's what I get for doing it in my head...duh...strange her monthly fee is approx. $45 a month????...$1.50 per day???...based on 30 days...
She's been in a year: 365 x $1.50 = $547.50
Total deposits $2605.26 – 547.50 = $2057.76 available for spending
$2057.76 ÷ 52 weeks = $39.57 per week that she can spend.
Hard to figure an exact rent-per-month due to variation in the number of days per month. Low of $42 to high of $46.50.
ETA: Forgot the –$7 deficit. So she spent an extra 14¢ or so per week.

The Untold Story of Caylee Anthony
http://www.cbsnews.com/sections/48ho...l?tag=hdr;cnav
"48 Hours" teams up with CBS News' "The Early Show" anchor Maggie Rodriguez for an exclusive interview with three members of Casey Anthony's defense team and an in-depth look at a case that has become a national obsession
And they have the nerve to ask for a COV?????? I hope the pros bring this up Friday am before the defense goes on Friday PM
Nice try.
They figure Orlando has the worst coverage so they want to go national hoping more people will see "their" account.
I had no idea this was going to involve 3 members of the defense team.
I thought it was Cindy and Morgan. Is there another show?
Hi Neffy .. apparently Diane Fanning who wrote a book about the case is going to be on it too ... I'm expecting the show will be like other 48 Hour shows and stick to the facts and interview people in the know about the case.
IMO this is not going to make KC, her defense team nor the A's look good ...

Last week I did a bit of searching around, because I wanted to listen to LE's interview of Deborah Polisano, and couldn't find one. I did manage to find in one of the LE's statements, where he did interview Polisano, and his accounting of that interview. (sorry, but I didn't save a link to that) Polisano was the person that told Cindy to talk to a counselor about her issues with Casey.

OFGS.
Aside from the obvious WTH? with regard to the COV the defense is requesting despite their inability to stay away from media cameras, I have two observations about this ... 1) an "exclusive interview" with the defense team? ... are you kidding me? ... and 2) I guess we now know what the "untold story" is -- it's the defense's story. And they have the nerve to call this Caylee's story?
AND WHO JUST WHO WILL BE THERE TO TELL CAYLEE'S SIDE OF THE STORY!!!!:crying: your right...i wish this would play heavely on the C.O.V status i cannot tell you how this makes me so mad!!!!!!!!! WHAT ABOUT CAYLEE! i am really getting tired of all this to the 1st degree...

Beginning at the bottom of page 5 - page 9 http://www.wesh.com/download/2009/0121/18530509.pdf LE summarized their visit to Gentiva Health Services. LE met with area director Nilsa Ramos and asked to speak with Cindy's co-workers. Ms. Ramos said Debbie Polisano is Cindy's direct supervisor and Charles Crittenden and Debbie Bennett are Cindy's co-workers.

I find it very ODD that she ordered 30 bucks in water, whats that about? :sneaky:
Someone said the jail water actually stinks ... maybe just undrinkable? And remember she's Cindy's daughter so was born with bottled water in her hand.

48 Hours couldn't accurately tell this story, without including the cast of characters. The facts are fairly clear, Caylee is dead and Casey is sitting in jail charged with her murder. Cindy can put on an "act" for the cameras, but normally what she says makes so little sense, that she comes off as someone who is covering up for a murderer.
I'm going to enjoy hearing what Morgan has to say!
