Lordy. My competence at important tasks and credibility is soooo important to me. I cannot imagine, were I a member of this defense team, given the absolute laughing stock they've become, turning in even the simplest of motions in such a haphazard, sloppy, inaccurate fashion.

It's just stunning. So what is it, primarily? Ignorance? Arrogance? What?

I'm voting just plain dumb. Dumb enough to barrel through a motion like they're cramming for a final with zero understanding of the material. Heck, I put more effort into my comments here. LOL.

Ain't it grand?

Sloppiness. Nothing more than sloppiness.

Now, as to the cause of the sloppiness, well, take your pick.

Noooo, you saw correctly. Someone elsewhere opined she probably gets danged bored in her little "dorm room" and application of what little cosmetics she's allowed helps pass the time.

She had so much mascara on she probably created a breeze when she blinked.

Oh thank you! It was soooo weird seeing that I did a double-take. Talk about redunkulous.

OMG you've probably all seen this from one of the recent motions but...

“The only purpose of evidence of these, and potentially other, alleged prior bad acts of Miss Anthony is to attempt to show Ms. Anthony had the propensity to not properly supervise it’s students”

Holy Toledo! How stupid can you get?! :w00t:

Oh geeze! The defense actually filed the motion w/this sentence in it? You have got to be kidding me. It looks like one of AL's students may have been having fun w/her because she was not properly supervising her students while they were writing the defense's latest round of motions, lol.

Exactly.

I'm afraid I wouldn't be comfortable answering personal questions and the entire notion that they would even ask has colored my attitude toward Miss Anthony, and therefore, I just wouldn't feel comfortable taking a place on the jury.

Good grief, Baez....you're never going to be Clarence Darrow, so just stop the act.
:glare:

I don't think many potential jurors would be happy filling out that questionnare. Perhaps that is the defense's intent? The judge couldn't possibly rule that the potential jurors have to fill out this questionnaire, could he? The defense is really starting to take things too far now.:sneaky:

That they probably took an old motion and changed a few - *but not all* - of the specifics. No proofreading, either.

"Sloppy" doesn't begin to cover it.

Yes, it was just sloppy work. They should be embarrassed that they even filed that w/the court.

Types of Anthony's favorite jail snacks:

•Jalapeño dip (58 cans).

•Hot peanuts (43 bags).

The beauty of these taped shows, though, is that they can run hours and hours of footage ... and then leave most of it on the cutting room floor. I'm sure Cindy will be surprised at how many hours she was taped vs. how many Cindy-minutes are actually shown on Saturday night. Plus, the way they edit the sequences could be the icing on the cake. They have the power to make Cindy look either very sympathetic or very not so much, just by the way they edit.

Wonder if Cindy demanded she preview how they are going to show her--- or did she just take the money? Curious how much she was paid for the interview and if she has spent any of her media money for Casey's defense. I am thinking she is way too selfish to give Baez a dime of her media funds.

Good Morning,
I have been reading some of the sites I have bookmarked in the last year and found this one a very good "recap" of what we know to date.
For some reason, I keep thinking about the traffic citations that Zenida Gonzalez received and the ID that LE got from Casey's purse the night of her arrest. We have heard nothing about any of this. Maybe because it means nothing, but I still wonder.
At any rate, this site offers a very interesting time line of events leading up to July 15 and after. It is worth the time.

I'm with you, Julie! I haven't forgotten the ticket or the item LE took out of the wallet that Lee talked about. Might be some evidence that is being held back for a later discovery dump. If it's out there we won't be seeing it until the prosecution decides it's the right time to give the Casey team something else BIG to have to deal with!:sneaky:

Hi Charmin, in the article it showed the commissary account is -$7.45.
Minus! Can it be true? LOL. This may be the first thing that causes Casey any worry.

I find it interesting that she has a negative balance on her account. I wouldn't think they would allow that in jail, would they? Maybe it is a mistake like Spots pointed out in an earlier post?

Why isn't George running down to the jail making deposits any more? Could it be that George and Cindy are mad that Casey is not acknowledging them in court? Also, what happened to all the people around the country that used to make deposits in her account? Didn't Tracy used to send her $25 deposits every so often? Could it be what little support that Casey used to have is now waning? Oh, poor Casey. NOT!
