View Full Version : Crystal Catherine Moore, 16, 10/9, Aurora, IL [FOUND SAFE]

Crystal Catherine Moore was last seen leaving school at about 7 p.m. Friday following an after-school program, said her mother, Crystal Starr Moore.
The mother had planned to pick her daughter up at school but was late. When she arrived after 7:30 p.m., "no one was at the school except the janitors," Crystal Starr Moore said.
I hope Crystal's just being irresponsible and is off with friends, but friends say they haven't seen her. Crystal doesn't have a cell phone, so she can't be tracked that way.

I don't think there was any discrepancy in the times. From what I understand, Crystal was at a school activity until 7 (the time last seen). Her mother was late picking her up and got to the school about 7:30. She couldn't find her and reported her missing at 8.

Has it been confirmed she was at the after school activity? I haven't seen any mention of that in the three articles I read. If she did run away, maybe she left with friends right when school dimissed for the day or possibly even earlier than that. Knowing when she was actually last seen by someone would help a lot.
Police treating case as a runaway -- fellow student saw Crystal walking away from the school with a man.

Found safe at a relative's house, though they apparently don't know where she was before she turned up there.

The article also references Mia Hayes' disappearance.

So very glad she has been found!
I hope the relative is the one who convinced her to call mom or call the police.
