I don't know either of them either, but I "met" the grandfather at a local WalMart once. He was with Clay's mother, and he stopped me and asked if I ever heard of Clay Aiken. I was a little confused why this little old man was asking me that, but I just politely said "yes sir I have". He grinned, and pointed to the woman, who was shopping, and proudly let me know "that's his mama, and I'm his grandpa". He was adorable.

How Special and Wonderful, Dustee.
I apologize..I wrote "parent"..but that includes grandparent, IMO. I've lost both..several times..and it's never easy. Grandpa..was like a parent to me.
What Pride Grandpa must have felt, huh?
You're lucky to have experienced that connection, Dustee.
