I don't know how many of threads we have started over the years but here goes with a little story.

Some of you know that I went to a psychic earlier this year that was bang on.

My next door neighbour went to him last week and he told a story concerning her parents, dad deceased, mom alive. She had no clue what he was talkiing about. She came home with the tape and played it for her mom. WELL that story was a long running (43yr) story that her mom and dad had going all that time and Mom never knew the ending. Well she knows now!! It all fit, the story the timelines and then ending. When her mom listened to it she was "that son of a gun".

Other things he told her was right on.

He is having a gala in November that I ws invited to but it is $65 and I spent $100 to have a private reading and another $120 for DH and I to go to one of his shows so I think I will pass BUT it is 2 days before my 50th (gawd) :scared:so maybe someone will take me.

Well, PL - I'm so glad you started this. Our threads seemed to flow with so many stories and then things would get too quiet again and our thread would disappear.

My dad has been very ill - in the hospital since August 24th and then to rehab regaining strength. I missed a lot of work standing by his side as he very nearly died - mostly for lack of experience at the community hospital until we were able to get him transferred to Hershey Medical Center. They saved his life. I can't tell you how many pennies I have found since he went in. They seemed to be in abundance everywhere I went.

Thanks, Crazy and PL!

Dad's not at Hershey right now - he's in rehab and starting to get a little too cozy. If he keeps it up he's going to end up in nursing care and never coming home. It scares me. And he started having shortness of breath on Saturday. They're doing another CT scan tomorrow. They did an xray last week that showed something funny but nothing, I guess, that made them want to pursue it. I hadn't been aware of it. He's to start anti-anxiety meds today.

Then this morning my father-in-law went into the hospital with pneumonia. He had a piece of steak stuck in his esophagus since Saturday night. He could breath, but it wasn't going down. He kept drinking fluids to wash it down and it wouldn't go and eventually they started backing up so this morning he went in. They discovered the pneumonia. I think he'll be okay, but I don't like both my dads being in some serious health issues.

But the pennies! I found one in the wash, one beside my car in a parking lot twice, one on the floor in the house, one in my pocket. This all in the past 4-5 days. I just keep finding them. Someone's letting me know they're there.

I have a question for other posters about lucid dreams (which is a dream where you know you are dreaming). I often have lucid dreams and have found that what I dream ends up happening. Recently, I had a lucid dream where I recognized a co-worker working against me and it was shown I would defeat his attempts to hurt me. It turned out, he was offered a demotion below me or he could choose to leave the company. As it turns out, he is leaving the company after 20 years just as shown to me in my dream. I remember having lucid dreams since childhood. How about you? Do you have lucid dreams?

There are beliefs that they are "pennies from heaven" - that someone deceased is leaving the pennies and dimes are frequent, too. I don't know for sure, but sometimes I've found them in the strangest places when they weren't there a moment before. I know Angelaw and Pretty Leaf have had the same experiences with them. And so frequently I will find them when things are going the toughest. To me they're a hello from someone watching over me.

I, personally never have, Brentwood, but there have been other posters who've commented on that. I'm not sure if I'd want that gift or not - it could be problematic, I suppose.

I can only wish...lol...

I just had a strange call from my next door neighbor. I am at work. She asked if anyomne was home in my house, she heard voices (sounded like kids), and the sound of someone hammering on the wall..like they are hanging a picute. I left the house this morning with only the dog & cats in there. I know DS is in school, as I forgot to give him his meds and I had to take them down to the school before I came to work. So, the neighbor has a key to the house and she went over to check it out after I told her no one should be in there. She called me back..Nothing going on

She said she is spooked now...:scared:

I think it's sort of cool...the spirits were messing with my Mayo the other night...God knows what they are up to during the day when no one is around...lol...

I doubt if your neighbor would have called you at work if she wasn't sure of what she heard. Be sure to look around for new pictures on the wall when you get home!

I do, and love them, PS is just freaky, Chuck the medium can be downright scary. The exorsisms are unbelievable. That one girl haivng sratches all over her back and speaking demonically was a hide under the covers feeling. Lorraine Warren guests at times as well.

As for GH..catching voices is what I like. They infrequently have spirits caught on film, but watching their flashlight blinking off an on as they request gives me a chill.

Oooh Pretty Leaf I just have to tell you about my penny today!

I looked down on the ground and saw a penny and instead of saying my usual ("find a penny pick it up...") I thought of what you said about them being a sign from heaven. I really couldn't think of anybody specific so I just said a general prayer. I got home and opened an envelope from my mother and the first thing I saw was the obituary notice from my cousin! :scared:

He died almost 17 years ago but I'd never seen his obituary. I was unable to travel to his service because I was 8 mths pregnant and my dr. said I shouldn't travel that far in the winter. Anyway,I'd been wanting a copy of his obituary but Mother couldn't find hers to send me. She's been looking for YEARS and the other day,she found it and sent it to me!

So, I think that penny was a sign from Britt,my favorite cousin.

This past summer my sister was getting ready for a trip to her cottage. She made up a list of things to take and it was on the DR table along with the items she had ready to go.

So she goes to get the list and it is not there although it had been the night before. She and her hubby only one living at the house.

She had to make a phone call to another city that has it's own phonebook. So she looked up the number and dialed it. After she made the call she turned to put that phonebook away and her list was sitting on top of the page she just opened.

She laughed and said "thanks mom". There was no way it could have been in that phonebook because she rarely has to use it.

Mom has a way of visiting all 6 of us at different times. My brother was the last house visit and it lasted a few weeks. Walking up the stairs walking on the second floor, door closing, her picture moved to other side of cabinet, pennies, table with four chairs and 2 to the side was now a six chair table, the chairs had been pulled up to table ect. Well my brother's housekeeper finally quit she was so scared to be in the house alone.

My SIL is scared, she hardly new mom and gets all freaked out when we tell tales of our haunted house we grew up in. Actually I get a kick out of telling stories and watching her eyes like a deer in the headlight. Not nice but it really is funny.

My SIL is scared, she hardly new mom and gets all freaked out when we tell tales of our haunted house we grew up in. Actually I get a kick out of telling stories and watching her eyes like a deer in the headlight. Not nice but it really is funny.

LOL - your poor sister-in-law! I remember you had some wild stories about that house! I wish my brother would visit me in some way. I'd love to hear from him. Things have been real quiet again.

Ghostbuster Dan Aykroyd on haunted happenings! Real-life ghost hunters scare up some good stories. Plus! Joan Rivers says she's spooked by spirits in her apartment! It's a monster of a Halloween show!

On Larry King? Wow. I'll have to see if I can watch it - I'm not real crazy about Larry King. But it sounds neat.

I don't think this really qualifies for something paranormal or from the otherside but it was creepy none the less.

Several years ago I had one of those relaxing sound machines. I can't remember the brand. Anyway it was one of those machines that you turn on and it had like 4 different sounds. One was waves crashing, frogs in the summer at a pond, a waterfall and I can't remember the name for the other sound.

On the waterfall one I distinctly heard the words "Go To Sleep". It was in what I would call the whitenoise. It was very, very, faint and in the background. And most people probably would not have heard it but I have acute hearing so much that I have to wear earplugs to bed to block out hubby snoring and traffic on the highway.

I swear I got rid of that machine and I would never have one back in my house. It was just totally creepy. Although it wasn't saying anything devious it was just creepy.

White noise has been linked to spirits.

I wouldn't be afraid of that. It wasn't threatening.

Oujii Boards on the other hand freak me out and I wouldn't touch one. Although as a pre teen I did partake in it at a sleepover. You wanted to see 4 little girls not sleeping a wink that night. I wanted to go home, but it was the middle of the night,

I firmly believe that what I heard was put in by the manufacturer. Maybe something that was suppose to be there (like a subliminal message) that wasn't so subliminal. Anyway it creeped me out because I thought if that could be put in there what is to say some menacing message couldn't have been put in there. Like go "kill someone" or something. I know crazy. But it was creepy to say the least. I wish I could remember what brand it was but that was so many years ago.

Yes it is comforting. The first time his spirit let us know it was here was pretty significant. There is a very small 3 way lamp in our bedroom & I have a cowboy hat he wore most of the time sitting on top of it. One evening we were in bed, the lamp was on the low setting & we were talking. Our conversation turned to Brett & our dil. The instant their names were said the lamp bumped up to the high setting. It was all the way across the room from our bed so neither of us could reach it to change the setting. DH got up, bumped it back down to low & came back to bed. We resumed our conversation & eventually it came around to them again. The same thing happened. I acknowledged his presence & he left the light alone after that. The second time has to do with our Native American heritage. Some Native Americans (us included) believe the tinkling of wind chimes are the spirits of deceased loved ones reminding the living to remember & respect those who have gone before. I have a large heavy wind chime hanging in the bedroom that is no where near any drafts that could make it chime. It has been hanging in the same place for a year & never chimed. Twice since his death it has chimed.

Oh War....
may you be comforted with Brett's presence.
Every time I hear "Silent Lucidity",I think of him.
I've always loved the song, but I associate it with him and what it would mean to YOU now.
Has his wife or son had any "contact" (for lack of a better word. I would say, "assurance" or "comfort" maybe).

I had never heard the song Silent Lucidity before he got sick & said he wanted it played @ his funeral so it holds a very special meaning to me. I am glad it does to you now too. Neither his wife nor his son have said anything about having any contact with Brett but his best friend has. They spent countless hours working on old cars together & Brett willed his Mustang to this friend. This friend says sometimes when he is tinkering on the Mustang & cannot quite figure something out Brett's spirit comes & shows him how to solve the issue. Brett has shown the friend where misplaced tools are too. It is kind of sad when I talk to our grandson because the very first words out of his mouth to me are always "My Daddy is dead".

Oh, Warhorse, that warmed my heart. When my brother passed, there was only one instance - that I'm aware of, anyway - when my brother visited me. It was in a dream and he spoke to me. It was brief, but something that was very different than any other dream. I knew he was there. And I knew he was there for a couple of months - I'd returned to college three days before his death. He helped me through those first copule of months. I knew when he left - he waited until I was strong enough to go alone. Your messages from you son were strong and specific. That's so special, Warhorse.

I'm not Jayne but I believe in spirits. I have seen too much evidence that supports their presence. When my dad died his spirit came to his sister. He lived in Texas, she lived in California. He died in the very early morning hours, Texas time. Later that morning when I called his sister to tell her, she picked up the phone (before caller ID) & said Bob is dead. I was stunned & asked who told her. She said Bob did. She said she was awakened from a sound sleep to his voice calling her name. It was so real she got up & went to the front door thinking he was there. Once she realized he was not there something told her he was dead. I asked what time this happened & it was the time he died (allowing for the time zone change). We determined his spirit came to her to say good bye.

That is heartbreaking! Poor guy! I believe that sometimes those who are mentally challenged have a stronger link to the other side. My 33 year old niece is severely handicapped, brain-damaged - she has the mental capacity of an infant. She and my grandmother were close. She laughed and laughed when my grandmother walked into the room. She would sit with her for hours and sing to her. There are times when my niece would look off to the side and up and just laugh and laugh. I have taken many family pictures and in several, my niece is looking up and off to the side and there is an orb in the photo. I think my grandmother visits her from time to time. And my brother. He was close with her, too.

I have heard so many stories like this, Warhorse. Sometimes I wonder how anyone could doubt it when there are so many instances of it happening. There was a poster - Bunko, I think - who was a hospice nurse. She had some incredible stories, too. And there are so many similarities from so many people.

I absolutely believe the same as you, your grandmother is with your niece. I was a hospice nurse for the last 5 years of my nursing career. I have witnessed many instances of loved one's spirits gathering around a dying person near the end. 2 days before my son died he told me he was seeing people out of the corner of his eye but when he tried to look directly @ them they were not there. He could tell me what they were wearing but could not see their faces. I knew the angels were here & his death is imminent.
They were not close in miles but in love they were.

Last year I was in bed and I heard my tv on in the living room so I got up to turn it off thinking I had left it on. When I turned it off I noticed it was on the discovery channel about bats and I thought how strange becauses I never watch that channel.
i went back to bed and soon heard the tv on again. I get up again and same scene as before only now my dog is pacing by the cellar door. I opened the door and a bat flew out of the cellar. I knocked it to the floor and put a laundry basket over it and the police came and got it. it turned out to rabied. I have someone to thank for this but not a clue who.

I may have posted this along time ago but there is a twist that I know of now.

My dad died at 61..mom was 53. At a cocktail party she met her teenage boyfriend, I'll call Jim. My grandparents put a end to that relationship as he wasn't Catholic...we are talking 1940's so not unusual.

Anyhow they met again, both widowed, got married, he died 3 yrs later.

As mom was dying we wondered, (us Kids) who would be there to take her over. Some said Dad some said Jim.

Twist...I went to a psychic this past spring who told me of the 2 marriages and that we wondered who took her over and he said it was your dad.

Now something funny about this all. Dad was a lawyer and his secretary was to be married and she left the firm. Dad never knew who she married only knowing she was moving to Toronto.
To show how small the world really is...she married my mom's old boyfriend Jim! It wasn't until mom met Jim again and as they talked about their lives did this come out. They almost met at a football game, dad saw her and spoke but didn't know who Jim was.

Another thing that happened the time of mom's death...she had a St. Teresa candle going in her room on her nightstand from the time she started to go downhill until her death 2 weeks later.

She died at 12 noon exactly and as we all (5 of us) looked at the clock the candle blew out. Well that was an "wow" moment. We had the candle at the church for her funeral lit beside her picture.

This is the same psychic that I am going to next week. It is a dinner and group reading so I may not get anything but who knows!

I've been trying to find somebody who wont think I' m crazy.Ok here goes, whatever started back in 1983,but i was raised NOT to believe in this,so this is very hard for me,sorry about the spelling. My exhusband and I bought a trailer and land on a lake. One day I thought I seen a child and from there things got real bad.I heard childeren in back yard at 3:00am singing ( singing ring around the rosie). I lived there for 10 years. In that 10 years my life was scarey. My ex started acting strange. He became very mean and abusive, almost killed me a few times. I will move on in time, we built a home on the land, that was not the best move we did.Things got much worse, to the point I did not know the ex-husband,he changed alot.We ended our marriage. Our son kept the house, its still there. He calls and says mom help me,thats where I'm at now, please, there is so much more to this, I am just giving a quick understanding.I have researched some of this, but nobody will help me.

Hi Tak. I have had many experiences in my home, none of them scary really or not to me.

Have you researched the land or the area the house is in? I'm just wondering about that.

I am no professional and have no answers but this is interesting. What is happening to your son?

I just don't even really know what to say except...your post really touched me and gave me pause.... Did you say that to him or just let it go even tho that is what you suspected?

I did tell him those were angels but that is all I said to him. I told his best friend & his wife that seeing the angels always came only days or even just hours before death.

I can only imagine that must be so comforting for you, Warhorse. I remember when my brother passed, all I could think was that my beloved PopPop was there with him. I knew, too, that he was there for my grandmother.

Are there any particular occurances while you were a hospice nurse that stand out for you?

It must have been a Blue Jay..they are the only blue birds we get in these parts...but they were mean:scared:

I think Blue Jays can be mean. But have you ever been around a mockingbird when they've got babes? Yikes! We had some in front of our elementary school and they kept dive-bombing parents as they came to pick up. They wouldn't bother the kids when they arrived on buses nor anyone else who came in groups. I began using an umbrella to come into the school as they wouldn't bother the umbrella, either!

The day Mom died she told us that a man in a uniform visted her the night before. Her dad was in the military and he was a conductor on the railroad. She was going in and out that day and never said it was her father but they were very close. We believe he was there to help guide her.

Awww, seems very natural to me that her daddy would come for her. I think my dad would!

Oh, Monarda! That gave me the chills! I can't believe your dog was smart enough to turn on the TV to the Discovery Channel on bats! Who do you think might be around watching out for you? Or perhaps it was your guardian angel. Thank goodness it didn't get a chance to attack you!

I am always fascinated by the twists and turns that people's lives take and are intertwined. I have one of my own like this but I don't think this is the right forum for it. It sometimes gives me the chills.

Do you still have that candle, PL? I think I might be tempted to keep the stub.

Do you know any of the history of the land? You might be able to go to the courthouse and go back to find some records. It sounds like something happened on that land. Can your son get out of there? Perhaps you could talk to a priest who might be able to come there?

After my Moms death 11 years ago, early on I got lots from her, and I still do from time to time. Physical in the beginning, now just a random usually wonderful dream. And...the random fragrance, thought or feeling is wonderful. Dad passed a few months later....never anything from him. Sad, but nearly the same when he was still physically with me. My brothers have things with Mom, but I don't think they do with our Dad. Sad. Is what it is. He was very pragmatic.....guess he's the same now.

Miss each of them more than I can ever explain.

I have a few moments.Ok where to begin. This takes place starting in 1983.Forgive my spelling and grammar. My ex-husband and I moved into a trailer we purchased, the first week we were there, things started,The ex-husband worked out of town all week,so I was alone with our new born. The very first thing was a child, running into the bathroom I looked in the bathroom and he was not there. He was not dressed from our time period.I just thought I was seeing things.Within a few days later I started hearing walking and seeing black shadows out the corner of my eye.I still told no one.I had a fire one night in the wall behind the wood stove.Thank god I woke up.There is so much to tell.Bear with me.I still get nervous and scare and I dont live there. Our microwave came on once and it was not plugged in,I called the place we bought it and told them they needed to come out and look at it,they did, told me I had a problem not them. There were knocks at my door and no one was there.A big bird flew in the window one night and broke the glass.I ran out screaming. There was cold spot in our bedroom,it was at least 50 degree different from the rest of the place. Now everything I am saying I have wrote down and I also have witnesses to.Dishes would raddle in the cupboards. As this is happening I start taking pictures of where noises are coming from and the cold bedroom,Yes I had pictures. My ex-husband started acting different. Also just before we moved into this place,My ex-husbands mom had just passed away.I did get some blue orbs in some pics I took.So I just thought it was her.I was raised there is so such things as ghosts,so this was begining to become very strange to me.I could not sleep,I would stay awake. Things seems to start happening around 3:00am,I also heard kids singing ring around the rosie. And bon fires would just appear outside in the lawn,In the morning I would look out side and there would be nothing there.I started to question myself.I would talk with neighbors about the strange things going on.They had things going on but not as bed.I have to stop for a moment.brb.

This all took place over 11 years.I also started doing research on the land,Yes I found out some things, but nothing that could explain this stuff.the I found out the stranger things got. There was also A dead man who delivered me mail. That was very weird,A man came to my door one night and said my mail was delivered to his house,he told me his name.I found out thru the mail lady he had died years before. There was also a man that would just walk all around at night, everybody seen him.Nobody could get close enough to talk to him,he would walk around a corner and be gone.By now my ex-husband started hitting me,once he threw me out of the car while it was moving.I was really wondering what was happening,I did call my mom and started telling her everything, she came out and stayed with me,for a short time, things still kept happening, she said she would never stay there again. Finally she said you have a problem.I cried.I call our preist and told him what was happening.I went down to see him,I put the pics on his desk,he did not even look down at them and said please put them away,He told me he could not help me.I was becoming more afraid. My phone would rang and it would be scarest voice on there other end talking to me,I thought my ex was doing this.By now he is telling me, he was going to kill me.I wanted out.But I had no means to go.this went on for 11 years. Finally my ex comes home and says,We are going to built a house.I was so excited, untill he said where. It would be built right where the tailer was sitting,I was scared but thought maybe it was just the trailer, and the new house would not have all this stuff going on.And maybe he would change.I have to stop for a moment.I still get real nerous.

Today is the 16th anniversary of my Mom's passing. I found this today and have read every single post...it lifts my heart somehow that we can all share our stories.
What I've learned is that the love never ends...that it just changes to memories until we're all together again.

Actually we gave it to my Mom's best friend after the service. Her husband was not well and we thought she should have it. He got better. As in most cases you (the children) don't usually keep close with your parents friends after the death. So I don't know if she has it or not but she told us she was blessed in having the candle so I am sure she still has it.

As I've shared years past on the original experiences thread, my husband and I never had children so we made our kids the 4 legged kind...we have loved each and every one of them dearly.

We adopted a little stray we named Bart...we lost him 2 years ago this coming January 4th...had to put him down due to a horrible immune disease.

One month ago we had some torrential rains and our basement got about 3 inches of water right where we moved his little crate after he died. I couldn't throw it out so after he passed we moved it down there...in storage so to speak.

Anyway, my husband was working away mopping up the last of the water--I was in the laundry room putting towels in the dryer. Hubby comes into the laundry room, looks at me, and says...."OK..now I know I'm losing it. Krissy, I swear to you on my life that I just saw Bartie's little but run into his crate....I truly saw it, as clearly as I am looking at you".

Hubby and I both had tears in our eyes.....we figure that this is what our Abby keeps seeing down there. All three of the dogs will sit at the top of the stairs and watch very intently as if something is going on...and wag their tails. They do the same thing down the main hallway to the bedrooms.

Well..since the 2 year anniversary is coming on us this Friday 11/13...I guess it would be a nice to to reflect.

11/13/07 I was hit by a car while crossing a street here in town, and thrown over 90 feet fiom where I was initially hit. I was seriously injured and spent 3 weeks in Trauma and another 3 months in a rehab hosptial. Injures were substantial, broken pelvis in 5 places, 2 broken knees, broken jaw (I lost all my teeth), fractured spine..you name it I had it..and lots of complications to boot from what I hear..I still don't really remember too much..but I do know that at one point, a big huge white shaped bell type thing...reminded me of under one of the big wedding dressing that they wear the big hoop around the bottom...it just came over top of me...

Anyway...this white "light" was all around me and it was a shade of white I never saw before or since...so "WHITE"!!!...I reached out to touch it..it was cold & hard, then I saw my Grandfather...he came to me and said..."Everything is alright, Grandma said hi..and Go Home"..next thing I knew there were doctors all around with paddles in their hands...I came home like Pop-Pop told me to.

At the time I wondered why my Pop-Pop..we were not very close, Why not my Mom, or my Dad, or my Grandma or even my animals that have pasted over..why Pop-Pop???? Posters on here helped me to figutre out that he was sent b/c I may have not wanted to Go Home if I saw some of the others...that makes sence to me.

I know there were many posters here praying for me and with their prayers and the Grace of God, I am here..and all things considered, a few aches & pains here & there...but I am doing very well.

It was very frightening for all of us being so worried about you, Angel. We're blessed that you're still here with us. I remember the confusion over your PopPop being there. That explanation did make sense. How have you felt since. I'm guessing you always know when the weather's changing by the aches in you body!

Ok bud's went to the psychic last night..no I did not get read but here is a story of one amazing reading,

I was outside having a smoke (I know) and there was a little old lady in her 90"s would be my guess. She talked about little things (traffic) ext> I asked who she was here with. She said her daughter and SIL but they don't believe they are scientist and if it is not in black and white then it cannot be. She said they are workaholics and they had to leave work early today to bring here. She said she has had "experiences" since she was a little girl

Marc Charles is here, does that mean anything,,so a few hands went up..so Marc whittled it down to..the scientist whose wife raised her hand during the figuring out who this Charles was for.

Now this man was sitting at the next table to me and I could see his entire body. When it was decided that he was it he had his hands in his lap.

Marc ..you have the same name as your father
Man no it is my middle name

Marc..you have been in an major accident
Man yes

Marc..you almost died
Man yes

Marc.. it has seriously damaged you arm
Man... Which one?

Marc..the left
Man ..Yes, then he stood up and the left arm hung down and he cupped it with the other.

Marc..you were in a coma for a few months
Man yes

Marc...did you know your father was there.
Man....starting to weap No

Marc...he sat at the left side of you bed the whole time to try to make you feel stronger
Man..crying streams of tears

Marc..your grandparents were not nice people
Man no they were not

Marc your father was treated badly, mostly by his father but your grandmother was cruel as well
Man yes

Marc..this made your father unable to show outword love
Man yes

Marc the most praise you ever got was an "I'm proud of you"
Man yes (weeping)

He wants you to know that he is proud of your achievements, he knows how hard you worked at getting to your choice of carreer and he was there when you got you doctorate.

Man gasps

Marc He asking about his ring..do you have a ring
Man yes

Marc It is in you top right dressar drawer, not the one with the clothes in it, it is like a bedside table

Man yes

Marc it is in a wooden box
Man yes

Marc the box had gold silk lining
Man yes

Marc Ok good, he is glad you remember where you put it, you don't look at it often
Man No

He is happy he able to come through tonight, he was very vocal, I mean loud, he wanted in.

Just know he says that he loves you and is happy for you.

Man uncontrolable crying sat down head on table, box of kleenex.

So at the half time break I see the little ol lady..I said I am glad your SIL got a reading..she said Oh yes, this will make hm believe, he did not have a great childhood with his father and to hear his father validate him was more than he could ask for. She said SIL never really shows emotion so tonight was so out of the ordinary. She said I can only hope this brings some peace to a part of his life that he did not have fond memories.

I wrote this last night around 11, with a couple of other stories but had not signed in and when I did the post was gone
Was I mad, but this is all the time today, as far as I know that I will be able to post again today, maybe tonight, so hope you enjoy this reading.

There were alot of readings

Marc told us that some spirits come through in different languages. He is fluent in French and English.

Last month he did a private reading and the daughter (deceased) was deaf. So during the reading he was using sign language following her lead. The mom was able to speak to her daughter using sign, (she told Marc what her daugther was signing and what she was signing back) He said it was so unreal but he was able to read for them but using sign.

During the dinner session he asked if anyone knew greek. One hand went up and Marc have a name (greek) and the man said it was his grandfather's name. Marc said he is speaking to me in Greek, can you speak it, man said no...so Marc had to let that go, but he did get a connection
.

Then there was Stan. A women put her hand up. It was her cousin who's family took in Stan after the death.

Marc asked did Stan commit suicide? Yes

Was he 17-18?
Yes

His mom died when giving birth to him?
Yes

Stan hung himself at the family home?
Yes but in the barn

He is looking for his mom. She was not there when he passed. Marc stated that not all of your family is there when you cross over. Sometimes you have to go looking for people. And if you never met before that can be hard to do.

He told the family that they must go to the barn call out his name 3x and call out her name 3x and they should be able to find each other.

That is all Stan want's..his mom

He read 4 sister's. The mom came through and told of her illness and death and what each daughter did for her at the tiime of her illness ALS

They confirmed what Marc was saying

Now my SIL went for a private reading on the 9th. I only saw her this past weekend. He told of her father's sudden death and that her mother sold the family home 1 yr after his death. He said her father was happy that she moved to a smaller place and he did not cross until she was settled.

He told her you own 2 properties. Yes (They bought a house before the other one sold (dumb) so they are holding 2 mortages, condo fees ect)
He told her the house will sell in Jan or Feb. There will be snow on the ground, it will be around a family birthday, (could be Jan 6 or 11) but after Christmas as he does not see any Christmas lights on.

He said your husband is very stressed about the properties and is acting different..Yes (he is very short tempered now)

That will change once house is sold.

He told her her son is developmentally delayed.. Yes

He suffers from a neurological problem Yes seizure disorder,

They are going to do surgery in 2010.
Yes January ( don't know the name but they are doing brain surgery cutting most neurons from passing from left to right hemisphere)
He will be fine but total seizures will not end until he is in his teens but one day he will live on his own, but will need help.

More things I 'm sure but that's all I can remember off the top of my head.

Anything happening anywhere? I'm still finding pennies a lot but that's all.

I do have a dear friend whose mother sadly passed recently. She said her TV came on spontaneously and a bag of Dove chocolates fell on the floor in front of them when they were walking down the candy aisle at the grocery store - it was her mom's favorite. Her granddaughter was with her and twice told her she saw her great-grandma walking down the end of the aisle to the next.

Children apparantly have a greater gift to see those who have died. Neat about the Tv and chocolates.

It sure was, PL! My mom says there was a story in Readers Digest, too. A young woman whose young husband passed. She was having a hard time of it and a friend made her go birthday shopping for a child. She picked up an Etch-a-Sketch and said, "how about this?" On the Etch-a-Sketch was written, "I love you, Chris". Of course her name was Chris.

We have a long time friend who just had surgery last week for colon cancer. She was told it was terminal & had spread to her lymph system by the surgeon. She was not doing well both physically or mentally & was in ICU. She had given up, she was refusing any kind of cancer treatment, saying she wanted to die now & was not healing well from the surgery. She was extremely grumpy, did not want visitors. Then this morning she had done a 360 degree turn around. Was chipper, interacting with people, saying she is going to the oncologist & is going to do what ever treatment is recommended. She was moved out of ICU today so we went to visit her & I asked what had caused the abrupt complete turn around. She got a huge grin on her face & said Brett. She was watching tv yesterday afternoon when she saw Brett walk to the door of her cubical, stand there smiling slightly & lovingly @ her then he shook his head no, turned & walked away. He was telling her it is not her time to die yet. She said she had this overwhelming sense of peace overcome her as soon as he shook his head no. She said he was wearing his jeans, denim jacket & his cowboy hat (his typical clothing). A few hours later the doctor came to visit her & had the pathology reports from the tumor & the lymph glands that were sent in. None of the 32 glands had any cancer so it has not spread & they graded the cancer only a 2 which is very treatable.

it's interesting when she let go of all her attachments to this life she was able to communicate with her loved one....

glad it turned out the cancer had not spread, good news for your loved one.... :rose:

Thank you for the very kind compliments. Brett had his flaws & made his share of bad judgements but he had a soft heart & a giving nature. A few years ago @ Christmas time he found out the grandmother of a guy he knew was going to be alone, even tho she had 4 grown children & many grown grandchildren. He tried to get her to let him pick her up & bring her here for Christmas dinner but she was too feeble. Nothing would do but when we got the meal ready he fixed her several plates, enough for her to have for lunch & supper. He even went out & bought her a knitted wrap & matching sweater. He was determined she would NOT be forgotten. Turned out that was her last Christmas on earth.

When I read this, I was reminded of the bracelets, "WWJD?" Yes, he was called home and to give there as well. He was needed.

I love your stories about him.

A friend of mine had a very special son. He was a paraplegic from an early age. He made friends so easily it was amazing. He was in the hospital several times and at one time during the Christmas holidays, he couldn't be home. The staff bought a tree and got ornaments and lights. They decorated the tree and put it in an area he could see from his hospital room. There were miracles that happened with him, the most amazing was the taking out of his gall bladder.

During the operation, the family had expected him to die. The gall bladder was full of poison and one move could make the gall bladder burst, causing death.

Before the operation, the doctors, nurses, family and the chaplain came for services. He was up beat and told everyone how they made a difference in his world.

When the time came for removing the gall bladder, the doctor said. "He will soon be a dead man. When I touch it it will burst. His hand was next to the gall bladder.

The gall bladder rose and placed itself in the doctor's hand. Everyone stood silently as if it didn't happen. Then the dr. exclaimed...

It raised by itself!! He asked the other drs. to close and ran out of the surgery room and grabbed his mother, crying and told her what happened. He was a seasoned dr, but never had an experience like this.

Yes, there was something special about this young adult. And it wasn't his wheelchair.

Oh, forgot. The young man had heard what the dr. said. He knew everything that happened and was not amazed about raising of the gall bladder. But when he heard the dr. say, he was going to die, he was furious but couldn't move. The young man had other plans.

Could tell you other stories about this amazing young man. The lady I talked about is mentioned in a book, turning Hurt into Halos by Dr. Schuller.

My friend who is a church minister says spirits are angels dressed in our loved ones likeness sent by God to give us comfort.

Glad your friend is going to be ok, War. That is so bad that the doctor would tell her she's terminal before he had the test results back. Glad he didn't know what he was talking about.

I had the same thought re the doctor jumping the gun with the diagnosis. Not a smooth move on his part IMO. Being Native American we believe in the circle of life & the last 1/4th of the circle is the spirit world one enters after the death of the earthly body so your friend's church minister's statement sure rings true for me.

She believes what the bible says about when you die you leave your earthly worries behind. That's why she doesn't think people who have died come back to visit us.

I think your friend needs a better doctor!

It was the surgeon who told her that & he is not her primary doctor so that is good. I hope he learned a lesson from this tho.

Yes it is & I am kind of dreading that because I know I will be emotional. His & my birthdays were only a couple of days apart. Our family had 4 generations of birthdays (grandmother, mother, me & Brett) within a 2 week time span. 3 of those birthdays were in a 5 day span.

The young adult that was a paraplegic always managed to grow her a red rose in the dead of winter for her birthday after he died . It was in her back yard up north. Just one mind you...one special rose.

He always did silly things after he died like playing with the television (turning it on when she was in another room), turning lights off and on and turning on the shower when she was in the same room.

Once he came to visit me. His mother was coming over and when she died, I asked if her son "ever whistled", and added and "he was really bad at it?" She said the last words the same time. She said, "Yes, but he was really bad at it." The day he visited was his mother's birthday.

For some reason, when I heard the whistling, I knew right away who it was, but didn't know it was her birthday. Now I know I was supposed to call her and tell her of his visit that day. What a nice birthday gift.

[QUOTE=Abbie;13676792]I wish for your Dad a pleasant passing , witchy.

My Dad spent a lovely family thanksgiving with the whole family last year which hadn't happened in yerasw and years. He ate well and was really a blast to have around. We did not know it wold be his last.

He died Dec 11 in the hospital, suddenly and it really rocked my world. I was his caregiver, I knew someday he was going to die but in his past 2 years his personality had changed (dementia) and he was so much fun to be around, he and I took day trips all the time and his inhibitions were gone, he said what was on his mind. It was great.

I don't look forward to Christmas without him this year. I have his cremated remains in a beautiful marble urn in my house and having him close does bring me such comfort.I have been known to sit down and have a chat with him when nobody is around, does that make we werid?

Not weird to me at all. I have spoken to my father many times. He has visited all of us alot.

I will tell you that he was an alcoholic and after he was buried I went to the gravesite and let him have it, while sitting in my car so as no one else could here my diatrade. I got alot off my chest and felt better after it. The anger was almost all gone.

It sounds like his spirit is a strong spirit and full of love and life.

as someone who has experienced an out of body experience when I was a child I honestly believe dieing is not the end... I believe going into the light is the path to rebirth...

it's interesting when she let go of all her attachments to this life she was able to communicate with her loved one....

glad it turned out the cancer had not spread, good news for your loved one.... :rose:

Lisa, if you're up for it, I'd love to hear of your experience. I never get tired of hearing experiences that once more show there is another side.

God bless Brett as he has blessed so many others. How wonderful that this woman was so touched by his love on her last Christmas.

I am not very religious in terms of a religion but i absolutely believe that something like that happens. There is another world we are not conscious of and sometimes our loved ones there come to remind of us that we still have work to do here.

So glad for your friend

I'm with you, VC2. I'm not very religious either, but I consider myself spiritual. I do believe in a higher power and in reincarnation and an afterlife. My beliefs center much around Brian Weiss' "Many Lives, Many Masters" that was my stepping stone into my beliefs.

Schuller.

Wow, Carol - what a wonderful miracle! Sounds like this young man was very blessed. Even with his limitations, he connected to people in so many ways.

I wish for your Dad a pleasant passing , witchy.

I have his cremated remains in a beautiful marble urn in my house and having him close does bring me such comfort. I have been known to sit down and have a chat with him when nobody is around, does that make we werid?

thank u

(((((((((((((Beespence))))))))))))) I agree with you. It is through ways like this that they let us know they're okay now. My brother came to me in a dream and said, "Tell Mom I'm happy now". It was a different kind of dream then I'd ever had. I felt him more so than anyone I've ever dreamed about before. He is with you, Bee and will be with you always.

Hi there fair..my boss told me an intersting "dream" he had..but he did not think he was "really aslep"..he said my dad was in it..we have know 30 years..he & my dad got along great......anyway...dad brought him a very nice "lady"..he said she had blond hair..a cherib face..and was dress very professional business atire he said was dated like 1920"..she wanted a job, knew what job she wanted and was extrmely confident. He asked me if I ever had a relative..young girl..dies early in age..way back when...I had no idea..we are all brunettes..only a few blonds in our family... but after I thought about it...the "visitor" he described seemed to be more like his "sister's.. daughter" all of whom are blond and cherib type faces.and very "professional and exceptional in professional dress and verbation'..,.I had told him maybe my dad met one of his past relatives..and brought her to him.

We also discussed..what I thought only I felt within the office...strange stuff happens there..I am in really early in the morning..and he is there very late at night..he said it feels strange to him..the later he is there at night..the "anxiety" level increase with each hour he is there..this is his quote.."like they want me to leave"..he asked who "they" are ???..I told him I get the same feelings there in the mornings....I am there by 7:00 ish..but they are calm then..all they do is mess with the toaster..even when it's unplugged..it popps all by itself....The Moma in me..just tells them to "knock it off"!

I gave him my input..I think our new office is on some old burial ground...we are close to the Susquehanna River..the land was taken over by William Penn that's where are records to date come from..so really no way to go back...but William Penn did steal all the land from the Native American's and called it his own..not nice.

He asked me of I thought they were hostile....actually if I thought that the hostile spirits were spitits that have not crossed over....as we Catholics say..hanging in purgatory. I'm not sure about that...I guess it all depends on the spirit..if they were acceptable of there death they cross over..if they have an issue with their death..they may want to hang a little closer until they get some kind of resolve..I don't know..but I thought the entire conversation was interesteing.

Please excuse any typo's..I'm getting tired..and this is my longest post in a few years.

Lots to think about..I've been pondering on it for a few days....

Any input appreciated.

Some of you "oldies", no disrespect:wink: will remember that I have experienced the front door bell ringing at 3am. Well last night it happened again, but at 4.15 am. Got out of bed and looked out my window and no one on the porch. No we don't have snow yet (tonight it starts) so there is no proof that someone wasn't there but I got up pretty darn quick, but add that to the fact that it happened a couple of years ago, with snow I tend to believe it is happening again.

The 2nd thing, that I did not post least week was I heard 3 loud knocks that woke me from my sleep. bang, bang, bang sounded like wood on wood. That night I asked Mom to watch out for #2 son. Then the bangs. I have had banging in another sleep prior but nothing like this. When it happened I opened my eyes and said "look after him."

Hope she is around.

I don't know about the office and the uneasiness. Is it a refit in an old building? You could be right about the land..that would be interesting to look up the history.' Have you tried?

We talked about that..he asked if I thought they were lost spirits needed to pass..or just regular spirits. We had a good discussion about what we felt about that. My feelings are that if the soul was lost to a "bad cause"..they may be seeking revenge and/or solence..if the soul was opk with the way it passed on..they move on with freedom...regardless...I took some dream catchers that some posters here had sent to me when I was in the hopital and placed them in the office...at least the spirits know we are thinking of them and trying to make them comfortable...whatever their story may be.

It's a brand new builing built 3 years ago on old farm land. We are close to the Susquehanna River and this was Native American inhabited way long back...until William Penn came along and "took" all theland he wanted..every piece f ground in Pennsylvania, goes back to the 1st deed in William Penn's name..he took the "land" by any means he wanted too..so beyond him, you can't really track the deeds as there were none. We think possibly we are built on old Indian burial grounds..but who knows????

Something is up!! Perhaps your brother wants to be around for Christmas. Play his favorite songs and see what happens. I remember someone posted way back that their radio would turn on while a "song" that was near and dear to the departed was playing,

We had a radio that would turn on by utself but was never a song connected to anyone, just someone who wanted to wake us all up.

I don't know what his favorite songs are. The one that always reminds me of him - I know he liked it but it was one that we always heard when we hung out together - is "Space Oddity" by David Bowie. And the song, "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" reminds me of him because he loved baseball so much.

Good morning old friends and new...first, I'd like to say that I've missed you all alot. I've only skimmed the first couple of pages here so far...just wanted to send Warhorse my prayers for the loss of her son. I'm so glad he has shown you that his spirit thrives....there's nothing greater than visits from a past loved one. :rose:

Many of you may recall many of the experiences that I shared in the past with you....my fondest are those where my passed brother visited my family twice on Christmas day the year of his passing. He came to us through music on my stereo system. I always keep my system tuned to play CD's and it was off on this day to begin with....anyway, we were all sitting around talking when the stereo suddenly came on and began playing one of my favorite songs at the time by Reba from our local station. I immediately knew it was our Lil C and we all just sat there in aww. On the same day after we all had dinner the same thing happened....this time he played my sis' favorite song by Reba. Again, the stereo was off and again it played the song from the beginning from our local station. This was the greatest gift for us all....especially my sister who was having a very hard time from his loss.

Lil' C has visited a couple times since then, once through my sons stereo at 4 in the morning.....he was being mischevious that morning by waking me from a dead sleep playing My Love is Deeper by Randy Travis. My boys were away so I immediately knew it was him again so I went downstairs and sat on my sons bed waiting for the song to finish all the while feeling the love emitting from my Lil' C.

Now, to more recent times....there are a few things that has taken place during the time I've been away from here...one of which I'm still not ready to share because I'm still having a hard time digesting it even after a year. I will say that it involved physical contact and that it didn't really scare me but it really infuriated me. I will say that this was not a spiritual visit from the other side but I do think it really wanted to get a message across. I've analyzed it many times and think I may know why it happened now....but again, it's something I havn't ever heard of happening to someone before. I guess I need to do some searching now that I'm back online to see if it's something that has happened to others. I don't recall anyone ever discussing it here on the experiences thread.

There was another physical incident that happened a couple months after that that I have seen mentioned here before...again, I think this one may have happened due to same reason the first one happened.

....I was fighting a terrible battle with my husband at the time and I think these experiences were trying to block my efforts in helping him fight his demons. The good news is "I WON"

I'll leave you all with that for now.....hugs to you all:seeya:

Well...I did some searching earlier and came across nothing...maybe I wasn't looking in the right places so here goes....I'm going to get it out of my system in hopes someone here may have heard of this phenomenon.

I was electrocuted one night....no, I didn't stick my finger in a outlet or a fork in the toaster or the hairdryer in the sink. I was sleeping well when I was pinched extremely hard on my foot by what looked like a troll or a knome whom I saw when I sat straight up in the bed. He had the craziest smirk on his face as if saying, hahaha, get ready for this. I then fell straight back down and the electrocution began...it lasted for what seemed like an hour but I'm sure it was only a moment or so. I was totally drained when it was over and could hardly speak when I woke my hubby to tell him I was just shocked. I immediately went back to sleep...the next morning hubby asked me what was going on to make me jump straight up in the bed the night before. I asked him if he remembered me waking him up to tell him what happened...he vaguely remembered. I then told him the whole thing and thats when we both noticed that I had prominent red mark on my foot that looked just like a pinch...I kept that red mark for over a month. I've only shared this with my closest family members....like I said, this is something thats been very hard for me to wrap my senses around. I guess thats because as much as I believe in the other side, I've doubted things like this all along until now.

Here's what happened about a month later....

I went back to sleep one morning after hubby had left for work, only this time I slept on his side of the bed...something I never do. This time I was attacked by a huge black dog with glaring red eyes who tried sucking all of my breathe out of my....I awoke struggling for breathe totally shocked.
After thinking on this and why it may have happened, I came to the conclusion that evil wanted to keep its hold on my husband and was angry for me interfering. Within a month hubby gave up the vice that was causing the tremendous stress in our marriage and has been free of it almost a year now and I'm very happy to say that I've been left alone since.

I never believed that evil was a part of the otherside but am now convinced that it most definately is. I always use to shrug off stories like this....not anymore.

Wow Moon don't know what to say about this.

I would like to congratulate your hubby on overcoming whatever was destructive in your life. Bravo to him.

As for the rest I have never "heard" about this but have seen it on Paranormal State. IIRC there was some major turmoil in the house and in the show I saw it was after a child. I really wish I can remember what the outcome was, I really don't remember but this has me wanting to go searching so if I can find anything I'll post.

(((((((Moon))))))) How awesome to see you posting again! You have been missed terribly.

I do remember your stories of your brother - something we shared, the loss of a brother. I am curious about your more recent events. I hope you'll be ready to share at some point. Maybe we can all make sense of it together.

Oh, Moon! That is VERY frightening but it only made you mad? LOL - you're a strong woman! I'm stunned. I'm glad that it seems you won out by fighting whatever your hubby was going through. I wonder if there's some sort of cleansing you can do of the house? And this red mark on your foot! Was it like a burn or a bruise or something? Did you ever have it checked out? I think I'd be afraid to sleep in the house!

LOL...I know...I shocked myself by not being scared and I laugh about it quite often now...I'll never forget the look on that face of whatever the heck that little guy was. That pinch was hard...:cursing: The mark looked just like a pinch and no I never went to the Dr. about it....shoot, they may have put me in a straight jacket if I told them how I got it.

I know this is something that many are going to have a hard time believing...thats fine. I would have thought someone a bit kukoo myself if they told me a story like this over a year ago...not anymore.

I honestly think that experience gave me strength even though it drained me at the time. I really felt rejuvinated in a sense and knew I couldn't give up on my hubby. So maybe this shock experience was really meant to be a good thing for me. Am guessing the reason I was attacked by the dog a month later was proof that I was succeeding and the forces around hubby wasn't happy about this.

The house doesn't scare me at all....I realize this was something that was attaching to the atmosphere and stress in the house that was emitted by myself and my husband. I have thought about smudging but havn't gotten around to it....don't think I need to now...again, not a house problem I'm sure.

Before these incidents there was much activity on my phone that also infuriated me...on many occassions the phone would start ringing out what seemed like morris code that normally took place late at night...too bad I don't know morris code. Thank goodness that all stopped.

I'm beginning to wonder if these happenings should be classed as poltergeist occurances...I think they are.

Being able to just share these things here has helped me understand even more.

I am having the strangest thing happening to me. A very dear friend sent me a beautiful pair of slippers for Christmas.
I woke up to hear a very soft buzzing sound coming from near the floor. I couldn't find where it was coming from but I put my slippers on to go to the bathroom and the buzzing stopped. I went back to bed and was trying to go back to sleep and it started again. I looked all over the floor and when I moved the slippers, it stopped. This has happened for two nights in a row. It has to be my imagination, doesn't it? I can't imagine what kind of message she might be trying to send to me! Actually it is a little unnerving.

Hi peggy....are they novelty slippers?? You know...the kind that are critters or such that may have a ear to squezze to make them purr or bark...if so, the battery may be acting up in the slippers causing the buzzing. Same case if they're self warming slippers if such a thing exists...if not they should exist...lol.

If neither of these are the case, then I'm not sure what may be going on..

A lot of questions come to mind. I guess you've felt them to make sure there's nothing inside of them. I'm not sure how to formulate my questions into sentences. What was running through my mind was about your relationship with this friend - is anyone else who's passed on attached to you both who maybe liked bees or something? Not sure about this one, Peggy. Maybe they should stay in another room when you sleep? Doesn't solve the mystery, though.

Many of you may recall my friend who's had so much activity in her house, even a full body "appearance" by Mr. Lewis.

We were over there last weekend and wow....Mr. Lewis (we're assuming as we didn't see him this time) was very active and apparently annoyed.

Susan was standing there with an empty colander in her hand talking to me. The colander just seemed to be whipped out of her hands sideways and flew off the wall. Not long after she went to reach for her glasses and they went flying too. Finally, she was handing her husband a bunch of napkins when they went flying all over the dining room.

He looked at her (the biggest dis-believer of all) and said...and I quote...
"OMG Susan...WTH is going on".

Needs to be added here that she was having Mr. Lewis's bathroom redone over the holidays. I think he was less than pleased apparently.

I've had many paranormal experiences in my life, I'd like to share one of the more recent ones with you all:

I've lost a LOT of people in my life, basically the only blood relatives I have (except for distant ones I wouldn't know if I passed on the street) are my daughters and my grandson. My brother passed away in 1993 at the age of 31 from an aneurysm. He'd been sick for several years, he'd had 8 strokes (mostly mild, a couple of moderate). He and I were close, I was closer to him than any other member of my family with the exception of my daughters.

Now for the experience: My oldest daughter, who is 25, was visiting friends one night when she started having an anxiety attack (although she and her friends didn't know what it was), she was shaking and crying, hyperventilating, etc. Her friends brought her to the ER and called me about midnight.

I immediately jumped out of bed, started a quick pot of coffee and pulled clothes on, etc. got my coffee and went out the door. While on my way to the hospital, I said out loud "I don't know what's wrong with her, but you can't have her yet...it's not her time and her son needs her here". The entire ride the radio station was playing some of my brother's favorite music....I mean some stuff I hadn't heard in YEARS on the radio. I knew it was my brother just letting me know he was there for me, that happens a lot, sometimes I smell him (sounds weird I know).

Once I got to the ER, I was a bundle of nerves, naturally. After about an hour or so, the doctor came in and said it was just a major anxiety attack and he gave her some meds. As he left, I moved to the side of her bed to hold her hand and reassure her. There was no one behind me, there was a wall about 3 feet behind me, her friends were on the other side of the bed from me. I felt a very distinct rubbing on my back...in a circular pattern then a couple of pats at the end. It startled me...I jumped a little, turned around and said "wow that was cool" and explained to the other people in the room what had happened.

I love it when my brother does things like this. I know he was just reassuring me..... like I was reassuring my daughter :)

Barb, what a beautiful story! I so miss my brother and would love to hear from him again. Sometimes I think it's just been too long. Other than finding pennies all over the place that appear right after I've passed a place.

When I first read Stephy's message I was sure it said massage which I'm sure is what she meant...

Stephy...I've never heard of massage slippers before...I bet they are a little piece of heaven for you feet...sorry they act up on you though...now, if they only made heated slippers and combine that with the massage, we'd have it made...

Num...how awesome to get those visits and messages from your brother...there's absolutely no feeling like having that experience and is something you'll cherish forever. I'll never forget the visits from my brother....:rose:

Oh, Moon - how funny that you and I read the same thing! Funny how the mind works!

I asked my friend about a bee connection and other than her laughingly responding that she "thinks of herself as a Queen Bee" there isn't an actual bee connection. At any rate after a few days it had stopped.

HiC!!!! Welcome back! I do remember your stories of Susan and I recall that there was a lot to do with the bathrooms. The shower door shattered at one point? And wasn't the wife around, too?
Hi allabout!!
Yuppers...that's her. And you're right about the wife...that's who we thought was pulling the sinkers and the curtain rods out of the bedrooms. Now we are wondering if it is Mr. Lewis.
My husband went over there yesterday and their son was working on putting a new pedestal sink in the bathroom that was built especially for Mr. Lewis in later years. He says he swears someone is standing behind him breathing loudly...looks, no one anywhere near him.
Susan really needs to have someone come check this out for her..she is still hesitant to do so though.

Some of you know about my doorbell ringing in the miiddle of the night and no one there..the snow and all that, well...my DH family is in the mist of family arguement over their mothers well being after a mild stoke so he is in a tizzy. in the middle of last night ( he does not know the time) the doorbell chimed, I did not hear it..he got up went to the window no one there and the snow on the stairs was not disturbed, So this am he had to admit that he never really believed me when I had the doorbell ring but does now since it happened to him.

My daughter sent me a text and told me to go to givesmehope.com. I was reading this site and came across this post:
5 years ago, a friend from OK and I were talking about how we hardly ever get snow in TX. He said that he wished he could make it snow for me. Two years later, he died suddenly. By the time I found out, I had already missed the funeral. That same day, it snowed. Then it snowed again on my birthday. In April. Knowing he's watching over me GMH.

Didn't he ever here it ring before? Hmmm - he's starting to believe now, eh?! About time!

Nope this is the 1st time but he has experienced somethings (cigar smoke in babies bedroom), the cat and all her antics, but never doorbells or knocking.

My hubby has experienced quite a few of the things that have taken place around here plus some things that I havn't experienced. He has seen hazes, has felt breathing on his neck, and has felt taps on his shoulder...most of which took place when we going through the struggles over a year ago. He did experience a tap to his shoulder a couple of weeks ago. I think it was a pleasant reminder for him to stay on the right track.

He never really believed these things could be possible before meeting me he says.

He first opened his eyes to the unknown after my NDE....he then opened his whole being after our Christmas day visits from my brother.

Wow, Moon. We've never experienced anything like that. After our little dog passed, we heard him running around the house - mostly running to the table at dinner time. Hubby heard him, too, but said it was just his imagination. LOL - he's not really a believer.

Well now that is hard to answer, when something is happening he tends not to show how he feels, does not say much, but when we went to the psychic show, he confirmed that he believed what had happened there.

He does believe, I believe:biggrin: How's that for a sentance.

Something happened here yesterday. My mother gave me 2 pieces of a glass blown art that were always on a LR end table, decorating for Christmas I put them in the china cabinet. After Christmas I decided to change things up and left them in the cabinet. Yesterday I came down and there they were back on the table, As DH if he took them out and he said I did not even know you had removed them for decorating.
So there they were out in all their glory. Put them back into the cabinet and there they are for now, or until mom decideds they are to nice to remain hidden.

i don't know what to make of this... but the last couple of months, at the same time every morning at 6:30, right before i get out of bed, i hear what sounds like a cat jumping off the bed and onto the floor (no carpet in the bedroom). in the past, i have had cats in my life but have not had one for several years, but i do know what it sounds like when a cat jumps off the bed. we have lived in this place for almost 3 years and i have never heard it before....

LOL - so Mom wanted them front and center, eh? That's funny!!

I think sometimes my husband believes, but then the engineer side of him comes out and he goes back into not believing.

Hmmm, this is what my cats do in the morning if they are on my bed. As soon as I begin to get up, they jump off. Have you been in your house for a long time? Have you moved and your kitty found you? It does seem that you've got a visitor.
