I have faith she will recover, revenge in football is sweet !!

Thank goodness the Packers have the week off. Poor Aaron Rodgers will need time for his body to heal.

I imagine he is still feeling the hits, GB needs to beef up their O line..., because they definitely have the talent.
Donald Driver is amazing..
I would love to steal him for the Eagles when CW isn't looking.

Well I guess the Niner's made a deal with the greedy youngster that has yet to prove himself.. Crabtree... M.J. Hammer even attended the talks...:tonguewag: Don't ask.. I don't have a clue.
Probably won't see much of him being he missed camp and doesn't know anything about the team... going to love to see him fall into Singletary's routine.. wonder how many times he will be running "the hill"... lol.
Guess we shall see..
We got the Falcon's in our house this weekend.. then our BYE.. so here's hoping we can do it to the birds what we did to the Rams...
Not being greedy or anything.. just want a few more games in our belt...lol

I watched Crabtree at Texas Tech. He's good, but this is the NFL now. IMO he's not good enough to go through what he just went through.
Was it him or was it his agent?

Crabtree is going to have a lot of catching up to do, no training camp, nothing...
I always wonder how the other guys on the team feel when someone joins after all the hard work they have put in and won games and have a good W-L record.
Maybe Crabtree thought if they lost some games they would up his offer, but looks like they were doing fine without him.
The guy is supposed to be good, from what I read, never saw him play though, a six year contract is nice.
Hard to say how this will play out, but time was running out for him.
I thiink he had until mid-Nov to sign or sit out the entire year.
I see the Browns traded their wide reciever to the Jets.
Everyone ready for Week 5?

Kat, I always wonder how much it's really the player and how much it's the agent exerting a strong influence over the player.
But then, I wasn't familiar at all with Crabtree's contract situation.
He's in the NFL now and he's not only got a lot of catching up to do with the team, but he has a lot of growing/learning/developing to do before he becomes a top receiver in the NFL (if he ever reaches that point).

Probably a combination of agents and super egos, don't you think?
I saw where Crabtree worked out yesterday at practice.
I am sure the 49ers are glad to have him on the team, rather than losing their 1st draft pick..........
My problem is with players who hold their team up through lengthy negotiations.
Guess this holdout is on the books as resolved.
Now, let's see how talented he is and what he adds to the team.

Well for not having one NFL game under his belt.. he has alot to prove to Coach Singletary.. they have him on the practice squad right now and learning some of the plays.. I know they can't even put him on the roster till the 12th.
I think part of it was his agent and part of it was his arrogance. You can be one thing in college.. but pro ball is a whole other game...
Read a quote in the SF paper.. lol.. Singletary will definately make him earn his spot and his money... (love this coach...)
"Instead, Singletary said, "You have to seek excellence in everything you do."
That's what the coach hopes Crabtree does as he begins his NFL career. Singletary related an anecdote from Wednesday that he found illustrative of the elevated level of competition Crabtree will now face.
Singletary said soon after signing his contract, Crabtree went out to practice and ran a great route with great moves. However ...
"At this level, cornerbacks know the route," Singletary said, noting that cornerback Nate Clements reacted to the rookie's route and intercepted the pass. "Crabtree said, 'How did that happen?' That was fun to see. He knows this is another level, and it is different."

This is pro ball Crabtree.. you have a lot to learn.. And hopefully he sheds his Diva attitude.. I'm sure Singletary's hill will take that right out of him though...lol

Hi Kat
Super egos, you got that right and too many people in his ear. Just because Mel Kiper had him projected to go #1 at his position and he didn't, he thought he should still get #1 money!! He missed the combine due to having surgery, no OTA's, nothing. Just a lot of unproven.
The way the 49ers are going, they will make the play-offs. Let's see what Crabtree can do come Dec. and Jan.

And those losers wouldn't have won the game even if Cleveland's bus broke down in Pennsylvania and the Bills had to play against an imaginary team.

I'm totally disgusted about the whole Crabtree deal.. his arrogance about his self worth is just disgusting.. PROVE YOURSELF IN THE PRO GAME.. then you get the big bucks.. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... he won't be on the field I don't think for a while.. maybe a few runs here or there.. but Singletary is a different kind of coach and doesn't take to showboating...

I have that same hope, AMS, every September. Sometimes that hope lasts until October, sometimes it doesn't.
But it always comes to an end before the first snow flies as reality asserts itself.

What a big loss for the Jets. They had a real opportunity to put distance between them and the Pats, especially since their upcoming schedule is pretty easy. But the wildcat cant be stopped!! The Dolphins could really make a run for that division.
