Mark Lunsford spent yesterday in Brunswick, GA attending the first day of David Edenfield's trial for the murder of Christopher Barrios. I can't imagine how much it takes out of him to listen to other horror stories.

There is a thread for the trial. The 3 Edenfields took turns sexually assaulting Christopher before killing him. Sad case.

 I remember that case. The whole family is sick.

Poor Mark. No wonder he needed to take a ride. After listening to trial testimony on that and learning that Couey was dead.

I'm sure it is very difficult for him, but I hope that Christophers family can pull some comfort and strength from having Mark on their side.

We now know where Mark was when he learned of Couey's death.

I can't begin to imagine how hard it must be for Mark to be there in support of other families. I really admire what he does.

I think for Lunsford, the hard part was losing his daughter, doing what he does reduces that pain and makes him feel he has a purpose and that his daughter did not die for nothing

Amen. IMO, Mark could have turned Jessica's death into a monument that killed him, but he chose instead to make his life's work about easing the pain that has been inflicted on other families.

Grace under pressure aptly describe Mark Lunsford, IMO.
