In honor of Banned Book Week, a
site I visit has a list of a few books that might interest some people.
http://www.basbleu.com/, Champion of the odd little book, has some that seem very innocent to me, but this is 2009 and some of these were quite racy way back then or just scandalous now.
The Dud Avocado & The Old Man and Me ~ Elaine Dundy
The Portable Dorothy Parker ~ Dorothy Parker
Bleeding Heart Square ~ Andrew Taylor
The Bolter ~ Frances Osborne
Service Included: Four-Star Secrets of an Eavesdropping Waiter ~
Phoebe Damrosch
The Heroines ~ Eileen Favorite
Mudbound ~ Hillary Jordan
The Northern Clemency ~ Philip Hensher
Jane Austen and Crime ~ Susannah Fullerton
I am afraid that I have yet to read any of these, some are on my wish list though. Let me know if any of you read any of these and how you found them will you? Banned Book Week ... seems so silly when people are trying to blow up buildings these days.
~ as always, Justice for Lana and those who love her ~ At Last ~
