Sickness is a natural cause. An accident or homicide would not be, but being on Death Row, he was protected from an "accident" or homicide.
But, he is (blessedly) gone, and his home of horrors burned down. Now, the only people who have yet to meet their due are the crack-heads he lived with while he kept Jessica in his closet. We can only hope.

You could tell by looking at him throughout the trial he wouldn't make it to the DP 10-20 years down the line. All the drugs he did over the years (which sadly didn't kill him) had taken their toll. I hope he died a slow painful death just like Jessica did.

Sickness is a natural cause. An accident or homicide would not be, but being on Death Row, he was protected from an "accident" or homicide.
But, he is (blessedly) gone, and his home of horrors burned down. Now, the only people who have yet to meet their due are the crack-heads he lived with while he kept Jessica in his closet. We can only hope.

Mark Lunsford was in court Wednesday watching Edenfield's trial. Edenfield is charged with sexually assaulting and killing Christopher Barrios in 2007.

The only good in his death is that Jessie's Grandparents lived to know that he's dead. They can put him out of their minds. Mark will never have to hear about Couey's appeals. His death was fast but it's over. Jessie can live on in their memories and the family can rest knowing they never have to hear about Couey again.

What did they need an autopsy for? He was being treated for cancer and he died. It wasn't going to bring him back, and he was on Death Row in any case. The world is better for his absence.
