Martha,

Ain't NOBODY getting out of this. You can pick your nose and you can pick your friends, but you can NOT pick a jury that will refuse to take to task their orders for justice for a 2-year-old child. I pity what they will go through, I pity the time they will surrender out of their lives and I pity the emotional toll it will take on them for years afterwards. BUT, they will do it. They ARE the ones that HAVE to work together.

Martha, remember, we are only yet to "see" the tip of the proverbial iceberg. Hold the Faith.

Caylee WILL get justice! MOOThank you so much for making me feel better about this case. I so want to see justice for Caylee and some of this stuff the def.is putting out there scares me. I don;t believe any of it but I am scard one of the jury will. You do make me feel much better about casey having to pay for what she did. I will just keep praying for justice for little Caylee and depending on good posters like you to keep me up beat about this case. thank you for helping me and ita with what you said.jmho:wub:

I haven't been around much today, but found this little tidbit from last nite's NG about the stain in the trunk. I watched NG last nite, but didn't pay enough attention, apparently. This, imo, gives much more credence to the stain.

GRACE: To Dr. Marty Makary, physician and professor of public health joining us from Johns Hopkins. He`s in Washington, D.C. tonight.

Dr. Makary, can you imagine -- I mean, you deal with children all the time. Any circumstance that a child should be lying in a car trunk?

DR. MARTY MAKARY, PHYSICIAN, PROF. OF PUBLIC HEALTH, JOHNS HOPKINS: Not at all. And you know, a hair cell and a stain may sound trivial, but it is a treasure trove of forensic medical evidence. You can tell not only the color and the treatment down to the shampoo or conditioner used that day but the root describes whether or not it`s been pulled, naturally fell out, or sloughed off from blood flow being cut off from someone`s death.

Same with the stain. There`s mold, fungus, and moisture that builds up without DNA that can outline any body, given the pressure of a person in that position.

GRACE: Explain.

MAKARY: Well, a person in that position is going to have an indentation simply from the pressure, and moisture will form an outline. That moisture will then be co-infected or, as we say, colonized with bacteria and fungus that will form a periphery or rim around that silhouette. And that`s what investigators can look at without any DNA evidence and make a pretty strong conclusion that that was a body.

Thanks for bringing that over, I remember watching that last night and thinking that was great information.

I was very upset and angry yesterday, and today I am just disgusted. Do the Anthony's really think they have any credibility after the public has seen the depths of depravity to which Cindy and D. Casey will sink to find someone else to pin this on? Even if they had something REAL, not based on just spin, they have absolutely no credibility and most people can see these ploys for what they are - desperation driven by consciousness of guilt.

I honestly don't think I have the intestinal fortitude to follow this back and forth and spin of the defense much longer. I know that's the legal system, but like sausage making, I don't have to watch the process to enjoy the outcome. Someone send me a PM when Casey is convicted, OK?

Thanks for taking the time to go back and grab that! I don't know exactly who Markay is, but he makes a lot of sense. I'm sure the defense will try to spin the info. But always remember...Jurors, one and all...do NOT check their "common sense" at the Courthouse door.

The Dog & Pony Show worked for OJ, but I doubt there will be an encore.

Good morning everyone.

I agree with you Kath, the revelations yesterday about cindy and the lengths to which she will go are absolutley disgusting, imo.

Anyone caught in the crosshairs of her ridiculous accusations should run to John Morgan and hire him to file suit.

As for conway, I believe he is shilling for jose. He is releasing information that they believe makes the State appear as if they are
"hiding" something from the public. It's not right and it is incorrect, imo.

With conway doing the dirty work, the defense can waltz into court and whine about all the pretrial publicity that necessitates a change of venue, imo.

IMO, they are playing games and I hope it backfires on them big time.
I am about 28 hours behind in my reading.....been far far out of the loop, but .....my question is this:

although Brad Conway is the attorney for casey's parents (who BTW have nothing LEGALLY to do with this prosecution),.....can't he, although he is an attorney be treading on thin ice???....couldn't this not only backfire, but couldn't he find himself on the receiving end of chages....such as interfering with an investigation, legal procedure,???....obstruction?

GOD I CAN WISH, CAN'T I....

I would liek to see him sitting behind glass...if even for only a few hours...at OC correctional Center.

Johns Hopkins is a highly regarded institution, so I assume they don't hire slouches. Yesterday, I was leaning toward not putting much stock in the stain or impression or whatever it is in the shape of a child in the fetal position. But after seeing what this Dr. Makary had to say, I've reconsidered.

There ya go!

I've been on his trail today too.

He's not exactly a ketchup spitting Henry Lee..I'll give you that.

Fortunately for him, George made a rapid and complete recovery. Much like he got over his sniffling at the hearing about releasing the autopsy.

George is a master at quick change mood switches. He had me fooled until right after the GJ hearings.

My guess is insecticides and or weed killer. Wasn't that taken and put in a van with vacuum cleaners when a search warrant was used? I really think I saw that on video once and thought it was strange to see the weed sprayer taken. But now I'm led to believe that Casey sprayed poor bagged Caylee to get rid of the maggots and death flies.

Or maybe she thought she could speed up decomposition?

BBM

Absolutely no remorse, and in fact, as late as March 2009 was still maintaining to the court in an affidavit that "she was innocent of this crime" (or some words like that).

I'll probably look into these motions further tomorrow morning. I need to spend several hours looking at nothing but the backsides of my eyelids.

She not only hasn't shown remorse, I see no grieving for Caylee either.

No one who isn't a psychopath can understand that family martha. They don't act in any way that we can understand because they are cruel people, they have no hearts, I don't know about their souls, but their hearts must be in the wrong place.

I think they just figure that Caylee is dead, there's nothing they can do about that, so they might just as well make the best of a bad situation and do the kinds of things they've been doing.

They're not normal; they're cruel, they are the kind of people who raise the kind of person that is KC Anthony.

I try not to think about them anymore. They are horrible people.

Caylee will have justice though.

I know she will.

Absolutely.

It really does bother me that they aren't standing behind Caylee and chose to stand behind Casey.
I could even understand that if they would just be honest and truthful and most of all REMORSEFUL & QUIET!!!!

Yep, that was Spooky!

He was so earnest going in, but so reticent coming out.

Almost like...Can I go home?...Dare I go home?..Is my carp on the sidewalk?

Followed by a performance

I think I will kill myself. But, I'm Hungry. Oh Man, tonight, I get to pick the toppings...ALL by myself. Maybe I should go for a drive and order a take-
out.... WAY out of town. I'm Hungry. But I am going to kill myself...Let's see...did I call everyone in my little black book? Finally, I get the toppings I want. Finally...I get more than 2 slices. OOPS, the script says, I AM going to kill myself. Carp, at least I get some beer tonight...been a while.

Where's that checklist? "C" says, if I don't complete my mission, not to bother coming home. Maybe I should have some pizza first. Where is my "checklist"? I'm Hungry. PIZZA'S HERE! Maybe I should have a little pizza first. ZZZZZZZZZZzzz

*D* Where is that suicide note? What did Cindy say? Who is Cindy? ...I forget. YUMMY Pizza! OOPS, take the pills "C" packed up for me.

Not to worry George, keep acting dumb. You won't like Federal Prison any more than Martha Stewart did. MOO

I think that is the clincher.

Even Casey on video...telling her parents to Shut UP, so she can explain to them how "EVERYTHING has been taken away from me".

What did they do? They shut up. Listened to how Casey's tummy, ear and whatnot ached. Who Cares?

That my friends..was the beginning of the end. Didn't matter that Casey was in jail, it mattered that in the face of EVERYTHING...even tho George & Cindy wanted to know about Caylee. George & Cindy "shut down" to listen to Casey about poor..poor...poor Casey.

IF Casey had ½ of an ounce of sense/compassion, she would bow down and thank her parents..for not kicking her to the curb, for continuing to put a roof over her head, for turning their heads while she stole them blind..For providing for Caylee, etc Ad nauseum.

But NO! Casey still couldn't be bothered to worry about Caylee.

'Cause she knew. MOO

I remember a twinge of real sympathy that day of the GJ testimony and then wham! wasn't it that very afternoon or the next morning he came out with: We're watching the kidnappers and we know where they are! or something really crazy like that? I'm sure I remember that insanely dramatic and bizarre turnaround because it happened so quickly and I KNEW my sympathy was misplaced. Wish I could recall exactly what it was but it was... something...

Morning all!

I wonder if it has been noticed by any of the participants in this case that just the closed threads alone relating to Caylee are 346,965 posts. Total strangers posting, caring, crying, researching pertinent information, more than Caylees own blood relatives. Makes me more ill than I already am today! :rose:
