I'm not sure what SOP is regarding arrested people and their appearance before a Judge. It has been reported that Hank, Jr. appeared before a Judge and there was no bond reduction. Yet nothing has been posted about that appearance and the question about whether or not he requested an attorney. Did he represent himself when he wanted the bond reduced? Wonder if he has the same attitude now as he did re the RO. Doesn't care, just do what they want to.

Does anyone know if his wife is still planning on relocating?

I won't post the entire file as CW has asked not to mention the names. However one that is currently incarcerated on Aug. 17 was appointed a public defender on the same day of her arrest.

I still think its odd that Tommy wasn't afforded an arraignment and an opportunity to request a PD also. IMO, it could be that he is cooperating with LE and is satisfied with the status quo of his incarceration.

After viewing the latest from floodofnoah on YT in a cached version, I am really intrigued by the $35K allegations that have been thrown about here and there.

At this point, I am really :confused:, but still believe Misty is the key and LE has to find another way to get through to her. But alas, that is JMO. I truly feel for the families and LE at this point. It must be really difficult seeing all of this play out and still NO HALEIGH! :crying: JMO

Since we don't know what goes on behind the scenes I'm hoping LE knows more and that is the reason they are questioning the other 3 who are presently incarcerated. It only seems logical they would question HC as Misty had remarked about him during the hypnosis. I hope and pray they can garner enough from these interrogations to determine what really happened that awful night in February. My heart aches for the parents and grandparents of this little child who is missing. I can't even begin to imagine the heartache.

Interesting that Putnam County Sheriff Office (PCSO) questioned Tommy (Hank, Jr) Croslin late Thursday (9/17) evening.

Your linked article states that 3 other current Putnam County Jail inmates were also questioned.

Today, Friday (9/18) Police said they will have 3 more people come to the jail for questioning on Friday.

So, 6 people being questioned PLUS Tommy Croslin.

Right, but thats not a shock because they spent all summer going in and out, they were on probation, you wont get out if you screw up on probation as badly as those two did, they will probably serve their time they would have gotten instead of probation and get out and not be on probation, and be free to either shape up or screw up again-

He is Tommy. Timmy is in Massachusetts. I'm looking forward to hearing the who of the other "three" they are bringing in to be questioned. I'm excited that there is now some forward movement in this case. I just hope it isn't too little, too late. I still firmly believe LE dropped the ball on this case big time way back at the beginning. They kinda reminded me of the Keystone Cops. One of the RSO's they supposedly interviewed has recommitted and is now in the PC jail. They should have investigated him more thoroughly, IMHO. So many simple things occurred to many that didn't seem to occur to them. It baffles me. In my research, I found he seems to be related on at least two sides of the family. Given his criminal history I would have thought they would have done more. Also, his location through the woods was 1.4 miles. Add to that the chair in the woods and the hair on the back of my neck stands up.

If he knows something I hope he is talking. Awhile back, IIRC, the police offered immuninty to anyone for information regarding what happened to Haleigh. They need to renew that offer and someone might start talking. Then offer Misty some type of limited immunity and they may finally solve this case.

I can't find her booking details but IIRC she was arrested before the 17th and imo that is just the date the information was entered on the court site.

Someone posted yesterday that arriagnments have to take place within 24 hours but that isn't true. A defendant can't be held more than 72 hours without being charged, not arraigned. Arraignments usually take place within 2 court days but have been postponed by either side and some have taken place well after 72 hours. Here's a link to one case where the arraignment was postponed twice. Other cases...Howard K Stern, Chris Brown, baby Emma's mother (can't recall her name but it's a recent case).

Do you remember the name of the RSO? I'm trying to get back on top of this case myself. I remember one who had a "solid alibi" that night. Is there ANOTHER one that recommitted? Good Lord!

The tracking dogs didn't stop at the river. They wound around behind the home, back out front, down the road and stopped at the rairoad tracks near the bus stop. The path they took makes it look like someone got lost trying to get out of the area.

IMO it's possible that whoever took her parked a little way from the home then got lost trying to get back to their car. Maybe someone else was in the car and they called that person to meet them at the RR tracks.

I believe you are absolutely right. I also believe that she may have been kidnapped and killed out of revenge - maybe for a drug deal gone bad. That brings me to the conversation at the bus stop by Misty - if it happened and it prolly did. Seems she was talking about getting "some bad stuff." Bottom line, Misty is involved up to her neck whether or not it is directly or indirectly. I think some jail time would make her sing loud and clear.

Exactly, W_D_1, a total of 7 people LE has questioned OR is going to question.

I do not assume they are coming to the Putnam County jail from Satsuma -- they could be coming to the jail from anywhere in Putnam County (or even Baker County) since no one knows who is connected to whom. At least I do not know how all the principals and peripheral people are intertwined and want to state that up front.

When do inconsistencies become obstruction and how do you prove intent? When does 'we believe she is not telling us' become witholding information? I know there can be inconsistencies that are innocent, mistakes, miscommunications, remembering, forgetting, trauma, impairment, and I know police cannot just go charging people w/o just cause. Is there nothing at all they can bring her in on? It seems like there should be something, anything.

Not quite. The warrant was returned on the 17th. That doesn't mean that was the arrest date. Warrants aren't always returned immediately.

I hope she is one of the six either questioned or going to be questioned. I think it's possible she is one of the four from Misty's "dream".

That's why I rarely watch the news videos. Most of the time they don't have it right. JMO. Occasionally, you can find a valid piece of information.

They showed the sheriffs office in the video last night. It said Putnam County Sheriff's Dept in huge letters on the outside of the building and they brought Tommy over from across the street for questioing. It looks like all 3 are in seperate buildings.

I live in a small town and the sheriff's dept and jail are in one building and is about 2 blocks away from the courthouse.

Someone said if it was a car the dogs would have picked that up. That's why I think it may have been motorcycle and after he killed her he disposed of her body in the river further away from Hermit's Cove. Just a thought.

Now to add a bit more information, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) said last night that they have called three (3) more people to come in today for questioning. These 3 people coming in today have not been named either.

That makes a total of 7 people Law Enforcement (LE) will have questioned (if all goes well) by the end of today, Friday.

The only thing I can think of is that they were using any excuse to arrest him. According to media, he's not talking. I'm thinking no one will ever talk unless they know something. And Misty is the only one who knows what happened that night. JMO.
It may not be that the media has it wrong at all. It looked coordinated (between the news crew and LE) last night. Media allowed to wait for them to bring Tommy out.

It could be a tactic by LE: A message to the perpetrator(s) of the Crime Against HaLeigh.

1. State publicly that, though they talked to Tommy yesterday, they received little to no information.

2. State publicly that they spoke to three inmates yesterday.

3. State publicly that they are bringing three people in, not in custody at this time, for questioning tomorrow. (I imagine these three know who they are and the entire "message" was intended for them, if they are the suspected perpetrator's of the crime).

4. State that they will be talking to Tommy again tomorrow.

Pressure on the perpetrators of the crime. This whole account, as related by the local news, was used for a very specific purpose, I sincerely believe. It's purpose: To put the suspects on edge, leaving them to guess if Tommy or any of the other three yesterday have given up anything relating to HaLeigh.

I read this link, and I am still not too sure about that. They define "child" as anyone under age 18. However, it does appear that MC would be processed through the PCSO and if the person is over 16 and the charge is a felony, the PCSO can publish the name. So I guess she would appear on the bookings page for the jail.

In doing so, I saw there was also an update about the interview with Misty's attorney, Robert Fields concerning the anticipated release of the statement by Misty about the family rift. I hadn't noticed the update until now! It seems Misty is claiming that her parents came over the night of the altercation, which led to Ronald's arrest and the seeking of the RO, because her parents learned that Misty had a prescription for Xanex and they were 'pressing her to share' and she refused.

It can't be easy to pay for internet, land line and cell phone if you are out of work. Something's got to give. If they were using Mr. Miller's phone then that could mean they do not have any phone access or they never powered up their cell phone battery. I do not think that Misty called them. I think it's easy to have a MySpace page even if you don't have a computer. It's possible for someone to use someone else's computure to do that.

The focus is on Ronald L. Cummings and Misty Croslin Cummings and the extended Cummings/ Neves/Sykes family because none of them have not been able to tell a true and consistent accounting of their actions since we first heard Ron and Misty on the 911 call at 3:27 a.m on February the 10, 2009.

This is what I believe. LE is doing their thing and building their case. Tommy is probably being protected in custody, and his family is probably aware of it.

Yes, Motomom, that's what I recall, also and I just checked the site that had that information to confirm. In doing so, I saw there was also an update about the interview with Misty's attorney, Robert Fields concerning the anticipated release of the statement by Misty about the family rift. I hadn't noticed the update until now! It seems Misty is claiming that her parents came over the night of the altercation, which led to Ronald's arrest and the seeking of the RO, because her parents learned that Misty had a prescription for Xanex and they were 'pressing her to share' and she refused.

I'm curious why a guy arrested for grand theft is in leg irons and hand cuffs? I mean, he had a bunch of cops with guns holding on to him. What's up with that?

Until they are called back to Satsuma, or questioned in Tennessee, why are they being so maligned right now? The whole ball started rolling down hill when the accusation against her brother, Tommy, was made by Misty during her videotaped tests.

I don't believe that the Croslin family (besides Misty) have anything to do with the Crime Against HaLeigh.

The focus is on Ronald L. Cummings and Misty Croslin Cummings and the extended Cummings/ Neves/Sykes family because none of them have not been able to tell a true and consistent accounting of their actions since we first heard Ron and Misty on the 911 call at 3:27 a.m on February the 10, 2009.

This is what I believe. LE is doing their thing and building their case. Tommy is probably being protected in custody, and his family is probably aware of it.

Actually Seeker, my eye turned to the Croslins ONLY when the information regarding the phone calls between Misty and her family the night Haleigh went missing became public. Misty suggesting her brother may be guiilty had absolutely nothing to do with me begining think the Croslins are people of interest here. The questioning of family members within the last few days, including Cousin Joe only adds to that suspision for me. Prior to the phone call information being released, I had never even considered the Croslins. Cousin Joe...yes....but not the rest of the family.

Perhaps you are correct and this whole concoction of questioning, leaking, keeping Tommy safe from Ron, etc is simply a way to put the heat on Ron who I think is your main person of interest. If so...alot of money and manpower has been utilized to get one man to admit guilt. Odd way of conducting an investigation, IMO. But I do respect your opinion. I simply believe Ron is not the main POI nor a suspect, not do I believe he ever has been since the first week in the investigation. This is my opinion Seeker, and I hope you respect mine as I do yours.

Yes, Frankie. Unfortunately the phone ruse is often used by what we call "gypsies" in my neck of the woods, and what others refer to as "grifters". Gypsies are often known to prey on the elderly due to their kindness. IMO

Who was the perp walk meant for? On the video they said they took him over to the questioning building and then took him back. Seems like thats where they take all the inmates to interview them.

It's odd...they don't have a phone, so they have to use a neighbor's phone; yet they say that Misty called them, and Misty says they were calling her all day...so I assume that they have cell phones; but if they have cell phones, why would they have to use the neighbor's phone?

I wonder if they have a computer, or they use someone else's...it seems odd that they would have the internet, but no phone service consistently.

Having lived in Fla for a time what I found with the land line companies is due to so many transients the go into an out of Fla, they take no prisoners when you fall behind on your bill. If you recall the night of the Ron/Tommy encounter the Croslins had to go to the gas station to call LE. Seems thet haven't had phone service for awhile, perhaps since Hank Sr. Was laid up from his accident and was unable to work.

There was discussion yesterday of those pre-paid cell phones. You buy them and a certain number of minutes, then dispose of them. No trace, no account, etc.
