I second that
He not only assaulted the mother, hitting her with CLOSED fists...he also harmed the daughter, having to watch. I hope there is justice, not only for the mother, but also the daughter who will never forget what happened. I hope he gets a severe sentence!

One of the charges is related to him exposing the child to seeing her mother being beaten. The mother asked him to be careful after he almost hit her daughter with the door as they left the restaurant. He sounds like an all around piece of trash. The paper also reported that employees of Cracker Barrel put themselves between him and the mother to get him to stop. If they had not, he may have hurt her badly!
Is this anger and stupidity what we have to look forward to every time we leave our homes now? Just saw today where another adult "spanked" a strangers child, kid getting beat up on a school bus and now this...

WOW! Unreal, all because she asked him to be careful? Hope he gets a good sentence for his asinine behaviour! I also applaud the restaurants employees for getting in between the woman and this monster, it could have been MUCH worse. My heart breaks for the little girl who had to witness this atrocity. Poor baby. I hope this woman will be alright.....

We have 300 million people here, and the news will take the worst of all of them, and publish it. That's what we hear. That's not the reality. Reality is most people are nice and good. Reality is that even for the worst events, like the two beatings you mention, there are also good people on the scene who stepped in both places. Reality is that if you looked at the worst of anyone or anything, it'd look awful - it's a biased perspective. Look for the good as much as for the bad, and you'd be overwhelmed with so many more instances of people being exceptionally nice and considerate, going out of their way, risking their lives, spending their time and money to help others.

You are absolutely right! It's not that more children are being abused and killed, it's just that we did not hear all of the details of things that happened outside of our immediate area in the past. But we are sooo much more aware now of the evil in the world and it is hard to remember that our veiw is sometimes scewed to the bad.

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. -- No more Cracker Barrel restaurants ever for one Georgia man. The company has banned the man accused of beating a mother at one of its restaurants from all of its locations for life.

Yes, Withay and Details. I agree that there are a lot of wonderful, nice, caring and helpful people around - many, complete strangers to us. Growing up - in my time, things weren't publicized and thrown about the media as they are these days, so we only knew what happened in our own home towns or made National News like the Manson murders, etc. Craigslist, that has been a "godsend" for me in many ways, is one that can be as evil as it is good. I worry about the unwary and (over)trusting who don't think about the potential danger in some of those situations. I prefer to believe that most people are good. But, I have to admit, that I 'walk on eggs' in certain situations.

:rolleyes:Unbelievable. A boycott so they can satisfy their own curiosity. The case is going to court, the tape is in the hands of LE where it belongs. It's interesting to be able to see these things - but my morbid curiosity is no reason for a boycott.
