Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 70%.

According to your answers, the political group that agrees with you most is...Libertarian

LIBERTARIANS support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

And here is my graph with my red dot almost directly in the b of libertarian

 LIBERALS usually embrace freedom of choice in personal

matters, but tend to support significant government control of the

economy. They generally support a government-funded "safety net"
to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation

of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations,

defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action

to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles.
Your PERSONAL issues Score is 60%.

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 50%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 40%.

"CENTRISTS espouse a "middle ground" regarding government control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention and sometimes support individual freedom of choice.

Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind, tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize what they describe as "practical" solutions to problems."

50 buckeroos would be great! Any extra money would be great. My company in California is closing, so my job is ending soon. Good news though, they will relocate me to another state at another facility with only a huge decrease in pay. I work in a field that is directly tied to residential new construction which wont recover for years.

I'm sorry your company is closing. I'm glad you get the option to relocate (how far?).

I agree the future short term outlook for residential investment is less than desirable (to put it nicely).

I will be relocating to Washington State, south of Seattle, early in February (or sooner). I am originally from Oregon, so actually I am pretty happy that I will be closer to family even though I will make less money. I feel very bad about all my current coworkers who have not been offered jobs to relocate. I am the only person in the company who was offered a job in WA. A very select few others were offered jobs in a southern state, but most are not accepting the offer. It would be very tough for many to distance themselves from the family they have in CA.

I enjoy these kinds of Polls and such..but I really wonder..HOW many truly answer directly and without wondering.."how will it come out"?

Maybe..I'm just wondering and wrong. I know, for a fact, as a teacher, that children will answer questions according to how they want to be perceived..many times (NOT ALL, Granted). As a parent, I've seen it with my child - some answers were totally "Wrong"..but it was to appease a teacher, counselor, etc.

If you could totally disconnect yourself from any political leanings..not worry about how you'd be perceived..how would you answer? I think the poll would be different.

"End government barriers to international free trade"

Read that as "all governments, including foreign governments", and you can agree with it, Narcissist.

And then you can be a pure Libertarian with a perfect 100%/100% score instead of 100/90.

I had to think about the draft when that question came up. Just where would we have been in WWII if we didn't have the draft? I really don't know.

Patriotism seems to increase when we have times of urgency like Pearl Harbor and 9/11, however what if it was a war that wasn't popular like Iraq or even Afghanastan. What makes the difference is the administration, the culture of that time and immediacy.

If as in the last administration, the Iraq war did not seem to be a specific threat until they came up with intelligence. But the intelligence was flawed. So one aspect is that you would have to believe in the administration imposing the draft.

The culture of our time now is greed and to oneself (perhaps greed is lessening??). The draft would not popular with this culture at all.

And immediacy...have we been attacked by a country or is opening the draft for possibilities of threats around the world.

I finally thought that like in the 60's, there should be a draft and everyone would expect to serve their 2-4 yrs in the military right after highschool or college. That's just the way it was and when everyone expects that to be part of living here, one accepts it.
When an emergency would arise, we would be ready, and those who were out of the military for a time could enlist with some of skills needed.

We are in a dangerous world. I want the armed forces ready but not used indiscriminately at a presidents or Congress' whim or exagerrated scenarios.

Would this be a plan for now with the unemployment so high? Would some entering the service, find their calling and make it a career?

Could we change our attitude of being the Policemen of the world?
Just more questions...
