Welfare recipients are the ones who already get free health care. It's the middle class that get's the shaft when it comes to health care. They have to pay out of pocket for health care, plus pay taxes for the welfare recipients to get free health benefits.

That's exactly right! Poor people have government health care.
This guy is still nuts and racially paranoid.
Twnty years in his church boggles the mind.

Aww, come on now. You know those on the other side don't like the "I've got mine" attitude. It's the "I want mine & I want you to pay for it." attitude that makes me want to hurl.
Jeremiah Wright is now irrelevant. Too many "normal" folks know what his hate message is and all he does is remind people of the fact he was Obama's pastor for 20 years. He does Obama no favors by keeping himself in the public eye.
On second thought, he isn't that irrelevant after all.

After my recent stroke I guess I am one of those welfare people. Thank you for the free health care. I would gladly trade my current situation with someone. Any volunteers?
I would gladly like to keep as much of my paycheck as possible so I can afford health care for my family and I. My kids deserve to see the dentist and doctors when they need it.

This guy doesn't know when to STOP. Marches on with his hate-filled rhetoric. IMO, he doesn't even care about Obama or have any respect for Obama by saying these controversial, divisive things.
What a poor example and bad name he gives to the majority of religious people.

Is he implying that only minorities are poor and in need of help? Wow, he should look in the mirror to see the true racist.
Not only that, but thank God he never displayed those core values when Obama was around or one would think Obama may have been inspired by his mentor.

I think it is indicative of narcissistic people. They always do what is best for themselves. I guess Wright feels that he was thrown over so turnabout is fair play.

Your explanation makes total sense - both about the narcissism and the payback. Neither makes sense, coming from a pastor and most certainly, not from a friend.

I think Wright was always about himself, plus the clips we saw were no aberration. Anytime anyone gives him a platform, he will show his true self.

I find it hard to believe Obama wasn't in agreement with Rev Wright's hate, you don't hang around for 20 + years if you don't agree with the message.
Of course. My momma always told me - "you lie with dogs, you get fleas" and also - "you are the company you keep". Amen Mom, and thanks for the great teaching. TWENTY YEARS. Simple common sense. Wright is a buffoon, not to mention a huge hypocrite IMO.

*snort* I am sure that not one time in the 20 years Obama went
to his church did he ever have an inkling that something was amiss.
Oh, absolutely. Educated by the "best" and very intelligent, but he never heard any of that racism or hatred. And his equally educated and intelligent wife never heard it either. Amazing - what awesome and amazing people.

Educated by the "best" just gave a lil' chill down the old spine, Patriot. The best, indeed. :chicken:
