I came across this and thought those of you that followed the case and trials might find this latest interview of interest. It is full of little tidbits, redecorating, the trial, differing tastes in music, a stage in life, photos, a half used bottle of medicated dandruff shampoo.

I wanted to let my fellow posters read the Rachelle Spectr article for themselves but I can't help but post about an obvious error his wife made in the article. Phil's sons did not testify IN COURT against their father. The only child of Phil's to take the stand was his daughter Nicole. She should have paid closer attention to the trials apparently. As for the remark about this being a stage in her life, she can move on. I found that to be very cold and callous remark personally. Is this a stage in the Clarkson Family life, Phil's children or even her own husbands? I read in the article she likes Lady Gaga (she sings Poker Face) ever read the lyrics.. I wonder if that wasn't a Freudian Slip on her part.

Facts have never bothered Rachelle, in fact she wouldn't know one if it bit her nose. I notice she says this is only a 'stage' in her life and she'll get through it. She 'loves' Philip, but she wants to start her music career.

Just a few things from my very quick scan ...this little part of a sentence rings true.

"top of the bureau where Spector kept the gun that killed Lara Clarkson. " to describe a chest in the hallway. :glare:

Just looking around it seems the place is full of creepy crawly things, alive and in memory of those in prison.

All of the gossip about her own marital problems makes me wonder just how close she came to having an "incident" of her own. Not one ounce of class. :angry:

The rest of this is nothing more than a continuation of a fairy tale of the current wife's imagination. This one does not seem to have a happy ending though. :ohmy:

Anything to try to put her face out there. Same old same old.

I know we don't agree on many points Anakerie, but I am fully in agreement on the bolded quote, which you made above. I too, feel exactly the same about this and it must be extremely frustrating and upsetting for them.

What both you and Anakerie have said is so true. No matter where one stands on the guilt or innocence of PS, how can anyone in their right mind believe that RS has her husband's best interest at heart? She has absolutely no regard for the feelings of his children or for Lana's family. It's really pathetic to read a post from someone who admires her for "standing by her man" and even worse anxious to read a book she may write.:ohmy:

Hello All,

Well, I will admit, since the conviction, I have not stopped by very much. I just wanted everyone (on both sides) to feel free to say what ever they wanted without being concerned about how I may feel or respond. After all, how can I be a supporter of Free Speech if my presents will make people curb their words.

With that said, I have read all the comments and I am aware of 3 (yep 3) different UK Sites that have printed the same claim about Louis & I.

I am not one to just sit by while someone lies about my family members (any of them).

In the case of this Article, I contacted Hal Lifson personally to ask about the interview. After getting some replies, all I can say is that he reminds me of Teflon(R).

When Asked about the Interview, he said:
"I do not do Rachelle's interviews for her. I arrange for them to happen. That's my job, I also have gotten your Dad a lot of publicity that he never would have had without a publicist."

I made it clear that I was not pleased with his work. His response:
"If you are in such disagreement with what I am doing, then I would suggest hiring a publicist of your own to represent and promote your point of view in the press. That's what I told your sister Nicole also, who strongly disagrees with my work here also."

I can't help but guess that if no one else is pleased with his work, except my Father (if he even gets told the truth) and Rachelle, than I'm guessing he's doing a bad job and he's clueless.

Now, before you start asking if I asked about the comment regarding Louis and I, YES I did.

His reply:
"The British publicist meant the word "testifying" not as in court, but in british parlance testifying means to speak publicly. You did do interviews spaeking negatively about your dad on court TV didn't you?"

This was the 1st time I had ever needed a Translator for British (Aka: The Queens English).

So, you see, according to Mr Lifson "Testify" does not mean the same thing in the U.S. as it does in the UK. But wait... Did we not get almost all of our Law terms from the UK?? Funny that.

So, I could except his excuse.... almost. Whet he FAILED to acknowledge were the 2 little words after: "IN COURT". Could he really have been trying to say that "Testify in Court" really means to "speak publicly" in the UK??

I'm not British, but I'm also not ignorant.

As far as suing for Defamation, that's only possible if there is a loss of money due to the statement. As for libel, I'm not sure yet. So far, nothing is happening, yet.

Now before you guys (and Gals) think it just might be a coincidence, in her own Written Statement (when filing), she stated that her and I had not spoken in 8 - 10 months and that I had never threatened her with violence. She did however forget to mention that I had worked for her for 4 years and implied that her and I did not really know each other or that I did not know her home address despite having been called over to help her find her keys in her own purse, to open her front door after a show.

To my surprise, she won, with the help of a lawyer.

I am now in the middle of my Appeal. Just a few days after filing my Brief, the lawyer filed a request to leave the case :thumbsup:

Still waiting to hear from the Judges on there response.

I start a new job tomorrow. So we will see, if things get better.

You're right, that publicist is a twister and 'Testify' is used the same way in Britain as it is here in the US, especially when followed by 'in court'.

After reading your conversation with the publicist, it is very obvious why some of the articles that have been written since the verdict are so slanted in one direction. The wrong way of how things really happened.

Wishing only positive things for you and Louis is easy for me. You certainly deserve a few good breaks. :biggrin:

Just a thought that I didn't express earlier, but why if she is expecting or hoping for him to win his appeal is she redecorating his home already? He just went to prison what about 15 weeks ago and why not have waited at least until his appeal was denied before tearing up his home? I would think or wonder if he wanted to please her and give it that feminine feel he would have offered that while they were living together.:confused:

GP nice to see you post again, as you can see I also couldn't believe the absolutely wrong misinformation that article contained concerning you guys having testified at the trial. Must be a strange to have to deal with all of this. I'm sure it is a world few can only truly understand. I can't imagine the frustration dealing with such a false statement that the entire world could mistake for truth if they would happen to run across an article like that.

As always, I arrive to the party late. So, it seems, I’ve testified against my father and in doing so,I, along with Gary, caused him the most pain. FINALLY, I provoked a feeling in my father.
Man oh man, I’ve tried to get just the smallest response from my father for many years and now I learn it was from something I DIDN’T do... isn’t that a b@itch. :glare:

Anyway, thanks for your thoughts. It means a lot to me that you guys care. I laugh each time I read an article from Rachelle, she is just digging herself deeper. It affects me not. I don’t take it serious because no one else does either. If for a moment I thought people believed the crap she writes I would do something about it, but that’s not the case. If my father is truly hurt by my interviews then he might just for the first time understand how it is I felt everyday growing up in his house. I will continue writing to my father in jail, I will not abandon him as he has me, but I do not pretend to have respect for him. In the end, I hope he changes.

You're right, no one takes anything Rachelle says as truth. She's told so many lies it's more reasonable just to assume if her mouth is moving, she's lying again.

I hope for your sake that your father changes towards you and your brother. You're both much more generous towards him than he deserves.

You do have good advice for some but it is not a feud, or anything else that has come between us. I will say that it is money, sort of. If I had money (I too am "Poor"), I would visit both my brothers if I could but, I live in Colorado, they do not.

Yea, any wife that would unjustly and publicly attack the kids of their own husband, is pretty low in my book. :wink:

On a side note, it truly is sad that she would choose to attack or upset my Brothers, Sister & I when it would have been a lot better and wiser to rally us all together to help our father.

As for me, I am no lawyer but I so far, have won 1 frivolous civil case against me, had a traffic violation thrown out after talking with the DA and had proven the charge was not even possible, had charges removed from my record in a recent criminal case brought against me, and was just recently informed in a current case, that the Prosecuting lawyer against me, just requested of the local City Court, to be removed from the case against me, after I submitted a Brief on my Appeal.

I do not like to toot my own horn publicly but, my point is, I think I could have brought more to the table than the Rach could ever hope to, by using the law the way it's meant to be and not fight my father's case, the way she is.

Instead, she choose to attack us publicly and childishly.

There were so many mistakes (when I read it the remark about Gary & Louis "testifying against their Dad" had already been deleted). Did anyone notice that the bureau pictured in the article (with Rachelle & Phil's wedding pictures) and labeled as the bureau that housed the gun that killed Lana is NOT EVEN THE SAME BUREAU? It is NEW - part of Rachelle's remodeling project I guess. But it doesn't even look like the bureau in all the photos taken on 2/3/2003. It had a greenish marble top, and 2 drawers.

I also found it odd that Rachelle would start a big remodeling project AFTER Phil was sent to prison - she states that there are weeds in the driveway, only a single hinge holding the gate on and the house is "mortgaged to the hilt" - which I thought implied "money was tight". And apparently the red "blood stained" carpet in the foyer where Lana died NOW BOTHERS HER after 3 years of marriage. EVEN THOUGH that same "blood stained foyer" was where the two of them decided to recite their wedding vows . . . a 10,00 sf home and they select that exact 200 sf of space for their wedding. Eweeee. I scanned that article very quickly the first time and the only think I could really see as any kind of truth or fact was the small snippet of the sentence, "top of the bureau where Spector kept the gun that killed Lara Clarkson" Even that was wrong in fact, I recall it being a small table of some kind as you describe. The place continues to
look ghastly and it has to be haunted by all of the bad deeds done there that night and before by the owner. :sad: Wigs, vows, lizards, lies and hellacious karma....all just too creepy. I expect we will see more of the same for quite a while yet. :glare:

Its only right that the media help take a part in clearing up such obvious misstatement about the trials. Especially when it wouldn't have taken 5 min for them to check and realize who did and didn't testify at either trial and call her on it.

I am NOT going to voice my opinion of Rachelle and her version of anything. (It would probably get me banned!) Phil must be just loving the fact that she's remodeling his "lair". And that is all I am going to say about Phil.

What I do want to say is that I feel horrible for Phil's daughter and sons just knowing that they have to read or hear about these fairy tales that the publicist and Rachelle keep cooking up. During the trials we all got to know 2 of the sons and I don't know about the rest of the posters who hung on for both trials, but I felt like they were friends of mine. I still do. I worry about them and what Rachelle's stunts are doing to their peace of mind... GPS and Claudius, if you still read here, I am sending good thoughts to both of you...

I thought I would be of help to those following the PS latest news. A new thread concerning the latest news, a letter from PS to a penpal which information about his feelings about the judge, appeal time and his state of mind are noted, can be found in the Passion thread on this old trials board. Thanks for the info Kennedy. I must admit I wondered how long it would take for this letter to get out there. I did hear about it and it has been widely spread around. Seems to me like someone who is just trying to boast about receiving letters from Phil and who hasn't respected any privacy in the process. Big mistake imo.
