I would like to know what took so long? And I am planning to email our governor.

C. Hinton was sentenced in 1986 to 40 years for attempted second degree murder and aggravated crimes against nature (wonder if that is what rape was called in Louisiana back then).

He was given "mandatory supervised release for "good time" in 2005.

He was back at his "old job" very shortly after his release. Another Garrido? Scalpel please.

As a nation, we need to demand changes in the way the law works now!

I found the following from googling crimes against nature:

form of sexual behavior that is not considered natural and is seen as a punishable offense in several US states. Sexual practices that have historically been considered to be crimes against nature include anal sex, bestiality, homosexual acts, fellatio, cunnilingus and necrophilia.

What in the world is considered good time in prison? Being able to belong to a prison society of degenerates? Is that what qualifies release? Or is it that crimes against nature has now become permissable in our society?

Well, Scienter hit the nail on the head. We have our laws to follow whether we like it or not. How to change them depends on the pressure society puts on those who make the laws. I would like the levels of those on the sex offender list to be more specific. First, take off the Romeo and Juliet offenders. Let us know who is violent and who is not. Our list here is what I would call fair (with the exception of the R & J fellows.) How about adding their offence? Society dictates.
