TY Dandy, I have not read it YET, but sure will. Sounds intriguing.
I always felt there was more to her death than we were told, such a sad loss. Thanks for the heads up.

I agree StickyBeak & SavannahStar. Goodbye Natalie, Goodbye Splendour sounds intriguing, wonderful and REVEALING. Maybe someone with some guts has finally divulged the truth about Natalie Wood's death.
I ordered it from Amazon today.

I'm with you. Went to the Pilot Pen matches this week in New Haven and Andre won by far as the past favorite amongst my friends. Thanks for mentioning this. I wasn't aware he had written a book!

I enjoy tennis myself but began this thread to discuss a book coming out this week. That book is about Natalie Wood, not Andre Agassi.
Please have the courtesy to start your own thread if you would like to discuss him.

Natalie Wood's death was a terrible accident. I still find her very intriguing. Loved her movies. "This Property Condemned" and "Love with the Proper Stranger" are great.
Will check out the book at my local library. Thanks for the tip.

Your welcome, Emerald. I do disagree with your opinion of Wood’s death, however. I have NO DOUBT it was foul play.

Foul play as in intentional or accidental? If it was intentional, what would have been the point? By who?

Thanks for the heads up on this book! I am ordering it now. I LOVED Natalie Wood. She was probably my favorite actress of all time. This book sounds really good.
Side note: I didn't even click on your thread at first because I thought the book was about Natalie Holloway and I didn't want to read another book on her until there is some sort of closure there. Ironic isn't it, that anytime Natalie is mentioned now, my mind automatically goes to her.

I sent a note to the author asking if it would be available on the Kindle. She just wrote me back that she was under the impression it was already available but so far Amazon doesn't list it.
I'm going to keep checking daily though.

Emerald, there were several motives to murder Natalie Wood. When I imply FOUL PLAY, I mean HOMICIDE or INTENTIONAL DEATH.

Thanks for the link! I'll be sure & check it out. I've been tracking my book's progress on Amazon and I am pretty sure it will be in the mail when I get home today. Just finished another book last night, so it is perfect timing for me.
I really appreciate threads like this, because far too many books that come out, don't get the publicity that they should. It's so easy to miss some, so I'm constantly checking around for goodies! This is a perfect example. I had no idea this book was out there.

Woo hoo, I got another email from Marti -
Hi Betty,
I checked with Publisher. GNGS will be available for Kindle download at end of next week: more near the original publication date of Sept. 15th, but since it got out earlier, he suspects about the 11th for Kindle. Thanks for your interest. Marti

CHITCHAT, who is Robert Walker and what leads you to believe that he was on the Splendour the night of Natalie’s death?

LOL.
The name of the man is Christopher Walken and he was one of the three men on the Splendour the night of Natalie Wood's death.
Some of the motives to kill Natalie were to silence her, take her cash and I believe Wagner wanted to live a lifestyle free from moral restraint.
I am sure a lot of Natalie Wood's money has been spent on double-crosser Jill St. John.

Natalie Wood had a younger sister who went on TV and said that the author of the new book did not lie. Natalie Wood was murdered. She was such a charming actress and her husband got all of her money.
She was so gorgeous!

Hey Dandy Lion. I have my copy, yeah she was something.
I am almost finished with Dan Browns Lost Symbol. Took a day or two off from reading because somehow I am thinking the ending will be right in my face. I want to savor the price I paid.
Natalie is next. I am so on your wave length, More to this than was ever revealed, IMO. I can't stand to see the commercials Robert Wagner does for insurance or refinancing, just the hinkey meter in me.
Will keep in touch. Can't help you on Bchand being banned, hope she/he back soon though.

Robert Wagner had his own money and made lots of movies before his 90s hit series. Whats to silence her? Any indication that RW lived a lifestyle of moral rstraint? Those Hollywood folk know how easy it is to get divorced. Sadly, I think Natalie did herself in by drinking and boating. I am sure that concurrent with just about every celebrity is murdered, the sister has her own conspiracy theory going. I like the fact that a 79 year old man can still make a buck and in my opinion, he only gets better.

ABC...I didn't write that Robert Wagner murdered his wife for her dough. I don't believe that was the reason why. He and Jill St John are sure living off of Natalie's millions. They have been doing this for years.
You obviously have not read any portion of this book. That is why you don't know what you are talking about. I do not know what conspiracy theory you are talking about either because the sister doesn't have one. I am talking about THE BOOK....not a phony image of a class C minus dumb actor.
The author of the book was the captain on the Splendour. It was a yacht. He was there during Natalie's argument, he talks about the smashed wine bottle..., the jealousy.... This 79 year old sorry excuse of a man killed her!

Hi StickyB. I hope you enjoy Goodbye Natalie, GB Splendour. The author even took a polygraph test and you can read it.
Many people have believed there was a lot more to Natalie’s death than was revealed to the outside world. Robert Wagner is walking around scot-free after having killed her.

No, I didn't read the Captain's tell all book thirty years later nor will I. Having written that, I am however, extremely familiar with the event. Where has the Captain and his story been long before this? What is his profit with writing a book on Natalie Wood? Probably money.
I don't believe she was murdered. I don't believe it was anything but getting mad and boating while drinking as the Coroner at the time believed it was Death by misadventure. She was a nice girl. I am sorry her life was cut short. Does that mean she was murdered? No, I don't believe so. Did they have a fight? Maybe? Probably. Folks have a tendency to get into arguments when drinking. Were they all drinking? Looks that way. That sure does not mean she was murdered. As noted, Robert Wagner had his own money and made lots of films. Jill St John was an ex wife of Lance Renthrow, the cosmetic heir. I am sure Jill got lots of money from Lance at the divorce settlement.

The questions you ask are answered in the book. The one you refuse to read. You are so annoying! Earlier in this thread you interjected this comment "I am not interested but looking forward to Andre Agassi's book "OPEN" coming in November."
Then why don't you go to a thread where you ARE interested? You spout off ignorant and clueless claims about Robert Wagner and Natalie Wood's finances. You don't know the 1st thing about them or about Natalie Wood's estate or wealth. You are irritating and dull and I refuse to post to you any longer.

:seeya: Thats okay. When claiming someone is a murderer even prosecutors are prepared to defend the accussation and the facts in a discussion/debate forum.
