GO TEXAS!!!

As a transplanted Texan (I now live in AZ), I wish the Texas team the best of luck.

They beat the team I thought was going to take it all--Chula Vista, CA.

If they play them in the chammpionship game, I hope they can do it again.

Boy that California team is loaded. They have one guy that weighs 170 lbs, and two that weigh over 200 lbs.

I hope Chula Vista can get pass Warner Robins tonight so we can have a rematch Saturday with you Texans. I too hope Mexico makes it to the final game, they have a really good pitching staff to say the least but in my case I hoping for Chula Vista. All the kids have really played their hearts out even the ones who knew they would'nt advance to the semifinals. Go USA who ever it is come Sunday.

Really GOOD game! We were hoping it would go extra innings. They were close to using up their ace pitchers. :sneaky:

Y'all know this is the first time an SA team has ever made it to the the World Series?......they are playing like vets! I am so proud of these guys, and their manager!
Looking forward to tomorrow!

These kids are playing like pro's they are turning double play like it's routine. The bases are only 60ft apart. I think there will be new records for double plays and homeruns this year at the tournament.

I know this is SA first trip but Texas is usually there representing the southwest. I not sure if Chula Vista has been there before will have to ckeck on that one. Who ever wins tomorrows game the US will have a good chance of winning.

There are no losers for these kids they have won a lot of games just to make it to the tournment. The sportmanship they have shown is a testament to these youngsters and their coaches. I will be real happy to see Texas win in the runnerup game and of course Chula Vista to win against a really good Taiwan Team. Go USA

I've been watching the Little League World Series for several years.

To me this was the best yet. These guys were fantastic. I would rather watch them than the Pros.

Did you noticed how big some of those boys were? They were bigger bigger than some pros in the Majors.

I was commenting on the size of those guys last night. I am sure their birth certificates have been checked six ways to Sunday and obviously all have been to Major Batting Camp. Is this what Roger Hornby had in mind for baseball little Leagures?

I sure he would be very proud of what has come of Little Leauge Baseball. Have you ever been to any all star games in your area. I played on a all star team back in 1962 and remember a team from Charter Oaks Ca. that had twin brothers who were well over 6' tall. They both hit home runs that my have not come down yet. Give the kids some credit for being the best players in 2009 they deserve it.

I'm not sure what Roger Hornby had to do with starting Little League Baseball but Carl E. Stotz from Williamsport, PA sure would be proud.

This was my first year to watch, and I'm hooked! Wish they could play longer. LOL The TX kids are already over a week late to school. They'll have lots to do to catch up. Some play middle school football, and they'll be back to practice tomorrow afternoon.
 They are all so cute!!
