LaToya Jackson looks...well...she looks like her poor, self-mutilated brother. I just keep wondering if most of that family has had the same butcher for their plastic surgeon??? :confused: One would think they'd :chicken: when they saw him coming.

Ah ha ha ha ha !!! I thought the same thing when I saw her on TV one day. Has she ever been really known for being anything but Michael Jackson's sister. She must have followed him in after his changes and said "I'll have the same".

You can Dr shop until eventually one will do the plastic surgery, multiple birth embryo implantation or improper drug applications. Not hard to find any desired procedure. Especially if the $$$ are available during the search.

IMO the patient is as responsible for accepting the optional procedure as the Dr. administering it.

who Joan Rivers? she has money.. maybe about a few thousand dollars, but she didn't get the best surgeon, just look at her. her skin looks like a laytex glove that has been in the dishwater too long.

I said MJ was self-mutilating and I meant it. LaToya has done the same thing to herself. Almost everyone in that entire family has had work done on themselves, but it appears that Michael and La Toya are the two worst botch jobs...so far.

I think Joan looks great - she is 78. Her surgeon is a genius.
Poor LaToya, how does she end up with that broken down snub of a nose, too?
Self mutilating is so sad and both she and Jackson were good looking people before they destroyed their looks, in my opinion.

What I find totally amazing is that the media tends to publicize the worst pictures they can find in an attempt to humiliate celebrities when that is their intention -- not just LaToya either.

Recent pics of LaToya. Yes she had a nose job but she does not look as bad as made out to either.
She is also 53. Wonder how many can actually say their bodies look as good :rolleyes:

I agree on all counts. I saw Joan Rivers in the Atl airport a few months ago and lemme tell you, she looks GREAT. Can you belive she is 78 yrs old???????? Her hands look very good, too and great figure.

Self mutilation IS sad. Very sad. LaToya cannot possibly breathe through that nose, any more than MJ could. I remember years and years ago--like in 1988--having a conversation with an ENT doc who had invited our family to his lake house for a wkend--that there was no possible way for MJ to be able to breathe through his nose. And that was 20+ yrs ago.

It is tragic, really, to have people hate themselves so much that they would mutilate their faces till they don't even resemble a person anymore.:sad:

So happy to hear that Joan looks that good in person. I adore her.

As for LaToya and Michael, I think MJ suffered from dysplasia (sp?), which causes someone to see something about their physical appearance that others do not see because it is nonexistent. IOW, they look in the mirror and see ugly staring back at them when in all reality, they are attractive, sometimes stunningly attractive, to others.

When I look at pics of MJ from the early years of his adult life, he was very good looking. I see nothing at all about him that could be considered unappealing, and yet IMO he didn't see that same person when he looked in a mirror or saw photos of himself. Maybe LaToya suffers from that condition, or perhaps she has fallen prey to one or two unkind comments from other people about her looks (although, again, I have always thought she was very pretty).

Plastic surgery is an option for those who can afford it. It enhances ones appearance. LaToya was already gorgeous.

I realize she's an MJ fan and I don't really care. She has her opinion, I have mine and never the twain shall meet, as they say. At least on this topic.

Perhaps we will find more even ground on another topic in another forum. You never know. My DH and I have some...um...lively discussions and we still talk about other things.

I think it's very sad when people "adjust" their looks to such extremes, although I do believe some people get addicted to it. Nips here and there and pretty soon there's nothing left to nip or cut. I feel sorry for someone so...lost and when money talks, a physician who only took a "hypocritic" oath will cut, cut, cut.

Anywho, still and all, I'd have plastic surgery if I could, but only to lift up some stuff that's gone south. :biggrin: Dr. Ray, here I come! I hate looking :sad: or :angry: when I'm not, nowhutImeanjellybean?

Kinda makes you wonder what made them hate themselves so much that they would go to such extremes! Either their mom had a nose job as well, or I am crazy. I think they all had daddy's nose and he was such an abusive man they cut it of to spite their faces :sleep:

I am guessing because she thinks LaToya is being picked on. I guess she is, really, but then the thread is about her.

I'm sure many celebs have had plastic surgery, some obvious, some not. It's sad that some go way too far and end up looking like some mythical creature the way MJ and LaToya did. They were both incredibly good looking in their natural state and I have never understood the desire they had to change that.

Hey y'all. I watched the Barbara Walters interview on 20/20 and personally I thought LaToya looked beautiful. Did u see the pic of her when she was a young not much difference.
She's really a pretty person. JMHO of course.
I'd like to be girlfriends with her, go shoppin and stuff.
