Strikingly, they provide little evidence for Cheney’s claims that the “enhanced interrogation” program run by the CIA provided valuable information. In fact, throughout both documents, many passages — though several are incomplete and circumstantial, actually suggest the opposite of Cheney’s contention: that non-abusive techniques actually helped elicit some of the most important information the documents cite in defending the value of the CIA’s interrogations.

They got more info giving cookes to those arrested, than the torture. The media has been slow on the uptake here. So much of this has been reported in last 8 months.... and now the investigation. IMHO, all that noise Cheney made from wheelchair at inauguration, to just a month or so ago and his daughter, was blue smoke; too many book are coming out or have come out to show, we were had by the Bush/Cheney admin.

Sickening.

I'm still waiting for Cheney to explain his claim that waterboarding KSM directly led to the thwarting of the attack on LA when KSM wasn't arrested until the year after the attack was thwarted.....

Yes, me too, and CBS which the Right calls "the most liberal station" put that on the air tonight in the shortie news we get on a network, just a line, saying: the techniques were reported to put off an attack on a major CA city..... then the pic. What? I thougt: I knew it was a lie.....
