I don't approve of most of his career, but you got to hand it to him for an interesting essay.

Figures! What a joke the guy is. IMO
:patriot:
Did you read it? He makes sense and describes exactly what has happened with the economy: class economic war fare and on purpose.

He didn't proclaim to say he discovered something new, he was giving his opinion.... and to me it was a good reminder. I liked what he said about Roosevelt. Thom Hartmann has written about it, and Lou Dobbs, and others about the 'war on the middle class.'

Are we all just "useless eaters" compared to those too big to fail?

The "King of porn" speaks. Ugh! It appears he hates the rich elite. The last time I checked, Mr. Flynt had not donated his huge estate to the poor. I would have a lot more respect for what he had to say if 1. He was not a dispicable human being who made his fortune demoralizing women and putting smut out for the public to lap up and 2. He practiced what he preaches and donated all of his VAST FORTUNE and moved into a small 3 bedroom track home like the rest of us poor smucks.

When an article is negated by both the left and the right, I figure there's probably more than a tiny bit of truth in it most of the time.

I've never like Hustler magazine- the tone of it makes me feel like men don't really like women at all, like I'm the enemy and I have to really look out for myself. I'm not a prude, but I would think twice about going out with a Hustler reader if I were single.
But I really liked the Flynt Report, and still own a copy. It contains lots of dirt he paid for about some of the fingerpointing pols who disapproved of the contents of the Starr Report. Flynt claims he got offered a lot more stuff but the sellers weren't able to supply ample proof. The Flynt Report seemed to really take the wind out the sails of a lot of Clinton's enemies, wonder why, eh?
I thought the essay was great. I don't think there's anything untruthful in it.
As long as the economy isn't too bad the rich being superrich doesn't seem to bother people much; in fact it seems to be enjoyed, like having royalty. In the US people also have more of a feeling of hope of becoming one of those superrich. Perhaps that's one of the reasons people with little money and no insurance are objecting to healthcare reform and any mention of higher taxes for the rich. I think its also brainwashing.

Anything that gets us out of that Dem/Rep factional paradigm is good; that's the heart of the article. He's not afraid to go soft on Obama in it, and certainly isn't soft on the preceeding years. There is an elite behind the curtain who doesn't care about what letter is behind the name of the front men-- just so long as we do.
Look over here... while the action goes on over there. That action is not in the interests of most of us.

Everyone's entitled to speak their opinion, even if you despise them. Sorry you think of yourself as a poor smuck.
IMO
It would just be so refreshing if those "in the know" would practice what they preach.
