Barclays - Liberty National Golf Course

WOW folks, wait till you see this course. Just saw a special on it. It is in Jersey City, right on the river with a view of Miss Liberty and the Manhattan skyline. Play starts on August 25th and Tiger is playing too. I think its the start of the Fed EX thing. We are really going to have fun with this.
I am enjoying the Wynham too. Along with the ladies equivalent, the Soilhen Cup to the Ryder Cup on the Golf Channel.:thumbsup:

Well they are off... Tiger is even through 3 and Lefty doesn't tee off till around 11 EST.

They say the greens are playing really tough.. hope everyone brought their right putters...lol.

Was wrong Lefty tee's off at 1:15 EST.. Tiger is at 1 under through 6 and Allenby is leading at 3 under thru 8

I hope Sergio can put it together. THe course is outstanding - water, water, everywhere - The course was made over a landfill. Stunning.

Sergio is going the wrong direction... he started today a 6 under.. he's down to 4 under.. and they are playing in the rain... lovely.. doesn't look like the rain is going anywhere either.

I loved the course and the Tournment. Hope Barclay's is there next year. Obviously, it is a course for the ages. I think with the passing of Teddy, the ceremonies and the passing of an era has made me thoughtful and reflective this weekend and not hopping. The best guy,today, won and it has been great. The cream did rise to the top. Looking forward to next week. Sorry to see two of my favorites, KJ Choi and Ben Curtis play themselves out of the Fed Ex Cup and hope KJ gets picked for the President's Cup.:mellow:
Yes, the season is coming to an end and no wonder life goes so quickly when it's marked by Golf Tournments. The President's Cup is going to be lots of fun.
