Most of us have our phone numbers stored in our cell phones and home phone address book.
Our email addresses are listed in our contact list.

So, while we do rely on the technology of these lovely gadgets what about jogging our memory once in a while?

This just dawned on me when someone asked me for a phone number that I have had for years, but because I stopped dialing it I forgot the number. If you had to type in your sister or brother's email address could you remember it?
So, now I try to actually dial someone's number manually just to refresh my memory, because we never know when the conveniences we rely on daily might not be available, plus it jogs the brain cells.

All good points. I'm so "hard copy" orientated that even though I have numbers in my phone, I still keep a copy in my wallet, "in case." And even though e-mails are "stored" automatic with a few key strokes, I have a hard copy list... same with best sites and passwords. LOL.

I don't think, I could call my own cell phone. don't have it memorized. LOL.

We need to exercise our brains, I agree.
