Good morning Ms. happygert.
I am sitting on pins and needles here and we have several hours to wait.
I just hope someone out of that large defense team that reminds me of a bowl of vegetable soup don't come up with a reason why they can't go on with this hearing today.
I doubt it however, because the good Judge will hold them all in contempt.
I think Judge Strickland has just about had it with ALL of them on the defense team and BC and George and Cindy, eh...
Wonder what he thought about Georges grand entrance yesterday at Najame's office.

Gert, you brought up something interesting on the other thread.
You mentioned you are wondering if Casey killed Caylee before she left the house.
I have been wondering just where Casey could have gone to do all this to Caylee and not one person seen her, her car or anything in or out of the neighborhood.

Then we have Brad who will be getting there with his stack of files and George and Cindy accompanying him.
Then the cankle twins will be arriving. (LKB and AL):tonguewag:

I have been wondering just where Casey could have gone to do all this to Caylee and not one person seen her, her car or anything in or out of the neighborhood.

Just lurking but this raises the question of Cindys involvement again. My niggling feeling is that Cindy has a responsibility in this that Casey is covering up because she thinks Mom can 'fix it' if she keeps her mouth shut. Notice George is now the one barging into places he doesn't belong and while he strikes me as a meek/weak human I do think he was kept in the dark about many things (probably his choice in most). He may have a rude awakening when he finds out all the secrets that his wife and daughter have been keeping.

My feeling is that Caylee was just not real to any of these people. She was a weapon between Cindy and Casey, entertainment for George and no one really thought about the human child she was. Bathtub video did it for me when she reaches for the camera and then the look on her face. She was a toy, a pet and now she is a meal ticket.

Slowly all the lines are adding up and I hope and pray that whomever did this will be exposed and punished.

Ive had a sick feeling that casey killed her in her bedroom..At first I thought she might had drowned her in the bathtub..then I thought casey smothered her.. till she was unconscious then wrapped tape around her nose and mouth.. used the blanket to cover her up ..and out the door she went. like Caylee was a sleep put her in the car and left.. Caylee started to decompose and smell so she came back thinking she would bury her in back yard.. but it was too hard to dig. Caylee was decomposing fast so she had to do something so she put her in trash bags because her body was seeping fluids and the grave wax already had already started forming and maggots already on her little body.. so she used the paper towels to try and clean it up.. however she didnt realize that some of the maggots would stay in the trunk where the fuild were....then she emptied out the hamper put her in it .. If anyone had seen her carry the hamper they would have thought it was clothes..or if anyone looked in her trunk they'd think it was clothes.. hope this makes sense.. its been a long night..lol

Good Morning Everyone,
OMG of all the days that I have to been away from my computer all day. Yesterday and today!!!!
I have been reading since before 4....cant believe what went on yesterday...but, then on second thought, I knew they would have to do something..today is much to big to just let the chance go by without some sort of show on the Anthony part...and show they, well George, did..WOW!!! Can you believe that guy????
I noticed in one of the motions the order of attorneys did not have JB listed first...LKB, AL and JB...that made me smile.
Wonder if AL will be assuming the "first chair" today?
Wonder if Tony will be in court today?
Wonder a lot of things....:) and most of them brings a smile to my face:wub:
Back to reading, just wanted to say Good Morning.

What if Casey and Cindy are physically fighting; Caylee like all small children is hysterical won't calm down; Cindy gives her meds of some sort; fight escalates again and Casey storms out with Caylee. Caylee gets od from the meds while Casey is texting bf and then Casey has to 'cover it up'. Several phone calls to Mom on the 16th?? (should go look exact date). There is a key point in here that the As are not talking about and my guess is G really hasn't a clue.

Morning Ms Gert,
Always good to see your smiling face when I get here in the morning.
I haven't heard anything about LP being in town, BUT, I bet he, or his attorney will be there. I don't think he would dare let this go by without some involvement.
Be sure to capture Cindy's reaction when she sees him:) That will be one of those priceless moments.

I wonder if Cindy ever put tape over Casey's mouth when she was a child. It is not unheard of; a teacher was arrested a few years ago for the same thing.

I try not to put too much blame on Cindy. I think Casey is 100% responsible. But, you do what you know.

On the other hand, the tape was reportedly wrapped all the way around; not exactly how one would do it to shut up a child's voice/cry.

I don't think this girl had a clue what to expect. I doubt she had ever seen a dead person, up close and personal so to speak. All she wanted in fit of anger was to shut this child up, and get her mother of her back.
She would deal with the details later, she had other "events" planned at that moment.

My niece's teacher did the duct tape around her face. left it all day.. even through lunch and assembly.. every teacher and kid in school seen her.. yes even principle.. when teacher took tape before she got on bus pulled hair out and it took skin and all off..MY brother was hot..long story but brother sued school district and won..

I dont know if cindy did or not.. but nothing this family does or did would ever surprise me.. IMO cindy is just as guilty as casey they all knew casey was unfit and did nothing to protect Caylee.. heck IMO they were all unfit not one of them was fit to be a parent or grandparent...

You are so right and I think the same.
NeJames is professional, cool, calm and collective. He would have kept them in check But, I believe NeJames dumped them didn't he?
If I'm correct it's probably cause they wanted to rule and call the shots and NeJames wouldn't have it.
Conway does. He lets them fly at a high rate of speed. These defense attorney's can not have other clients (MO) when they have clients like Cindy and George so outrageous. They have to stop everything and run to where the Anthony's show up to cause a ruckus.:sneaky:

One way to know for sure is if Judge S. looks over his reading glasses that have slipped down on his nose even a little and looking ever so slightly annoyed, if he slowllllly pushes them back up with his dominant right "Lee" finger while glaring down on them all (and especially at YOU George) we could probably deduce that he is, in fact, not playing.

I also believe that Sniffles will cry, or attempt to cry, while clutching a crumpled white tissue or two, he will wear at least 3 big ol Caylee buttons (because he has forgotten to wear them a couple times...can't imagine Grinchy allowing that behavior for long!) and since he has now become a new man from his epically timed baptism - he will just sit quietly try to figure out what does the WWJD mean on his new bracelet thingy? That will keep him occupied for some time, at least.

Good morning everyone, I have been keeping up but have not been able to stay on long enough to post.
I have been up cooking getting ready for the George and Sindy Show.
I just wanted to say Nejames is the best! I just love his character. I am hoping the JB and Company got what they wanted from Tim Miller. I don't think they realize they can't mess with the good guys. Everyone they have tried to throw under the bus comes back and runs over them with truth and facts.
These folks are so desparate looking and acting. George, I thought would have been the good guy in all of this has failed the Caylee test. All of them have failed Caylee in my opinion. I am hoping that everyone involved gets their rightful reward and in the end Caylee will have her justice.
Just wanting to vent this a.m. going to get another cup of coffee, maybe I won't make the next cup soo strong.
Good morning!

Good morning everyone. I am so glad to see so much interest in this case. We all have taken Caylee into our hearts.

Deanna, I think the entire statement was something like:

Cindy - I forgive you for anything you have said or done.

Casey - Don't worry, I haven't said anything.

Add to that this statement:

Casey - You don't know what my involvement is??

Yep, I agree there are things between this mother and daughter that
george has no idea about.

I wish Mark Nejame could reach george and impress upon him that to honor Caylee, he needs to know the truth. I think Nejame got thru to
him yesterday, but once george is exposed to toxic cindy, he'll revert
back to hiding from the truth. IMO.

Gert, you brought up something interesting on the other thread.
You mentioned you are wondering if Casey killed Caylee before she left the house.
I have been wondering just where Casey could have gone to do all this to Caylee and not one person seen her, her car or anything in or out of the neighborhood.

good morning everyone! i have always thought that the reference to blanchard park may be a *hint* that that is the place where kc murdered caylee. dunno if anyone searched the area for forensic evidence, but i think the bp reference was a freudian slip.

Good morning everyone. I see you are here early with bright shining faces. :-) We know that Casey has been in a small room with other inmates for awhile now waiting. Combing her hair and smoothing and re-smoothing her tight blouse. I truly hope that the judge grants Amy her speedy trial. I think he might due to that law being passed in 2005 and her rights enforced.

As for GA's little show yesterday, neither he nor Cindy will ever get it through their heads that they should just stay home and be quiet. It will never happen and will do them in in the long run. As for being upset about losing their granddaughter and that's why they do this, I'm not buying it. I would like to think that's why, but in my heart I know it's not. They are always defensive and loud because they know what happened and they are culpable too. They want it all to go away because they have a sneaking suspicion that Casey is going to throw them under the bus come trial time. If they were really upset and devastated by losing Caylee, they wouldn't be so vehement about getting Casey off. They would be mourning Caylee's loss and being very quiet about Casey and the "search for the truth". This trial will really be a circus when it starts and the Anthony's get tossed under the bus too. JMHO of course, but that's the way I feel it is going to go.

I agree Martha. So many who go through this or worse have to work, find the money for the funeral and grieve at the same time. They don't have people sending them money, and buying new clothes and jewelry, a new boat, and it goes on and on. I'm not buying into the fact they have it worse than anyone else in the world. good morning everyone! i have always thought that the reference to blanchard park may be a *hint* that that is the place where kc murdered caylee. dunno if anyone searched the area for forensic evidence, but i think the bp reference was a freudian slip.

Good morning everyone,

I always believed that Casey kept mentioning Blanchard park because she knew that a young woman had been murdered there and also to throw off LE...Casey had to be very worried as to the spot she left Caylee's body at...I also believe that she tried to let Lee know where the body was so that he could move it, but that would have been impossible....also the mere fact that the PI went to that very spot one month earlier then the body being discovered is a give away (to me anyway) that someone in that home knew that Caylee's body was place there by Casey...Cindy, George and Lee just weren't brave enough to go look for themselves......

Ever seen the wild courthouse videos on Tru Tv? Remember a Dahmer victims family member jumping outta her seat and going after him while screaming? Can you just imagine what kind of wild antics Cindy would be doing at any hearing, or NC, if someone besides Casey actually abducted and killed Caylee?

They'd be ready to string the perp up and kill him/her on the spot.

ITA, the Anthony's should just shut up and stay home. But they can't. They want to be heard. They think the more they claim 'this is about Caylee', they want the truth, bla, bla, bla, that some miracle is going to happen and that a perp besides Casey will appear. It's twisted. As long as Casey is the perp, LE has it wrong. The state is wrong. And they're not making it 'about Caylee' because they have the wrong perp.

In a park in daylight - and no one ever reported seeing this happen. But JB Park could also be a "hint" that this is where physical violence DID happen where maybe someone was wounded or hurt, but either not dead at the time, or dead shortly thereafter.

you mean it's not yesterday? i agree with what you said but, i am of the opinion that ga did NOT see caylee on the morning of the 16th - i think it's entirely possible that kc murdered caylee the night of the 15th, after dark. ergo, no one saw anything. i think kc placed caylee in the trunk of her car until she could figure out a place to put her and that placement occurred in the dark, early morning hours of the 16th. i also think that the duct tape over caylee's mouth signified kc's desire to quiet her forever. in my experience, 2 1/2 year olds talk a LOT - maybe that was an annoyance to kc. caylee talking and everyone oohing and aahing over how cute she was and basically taking the focus off kc.

perhaps kc had it in the back of her o-so-small mind that if she placed caylee near her parent's home, suspicion would be directed at them and away from her.

i realize i'm not all that up on my homework on this case, so if this has been discussed ad nauseum to some, forgive me. we have a used furniture store in town called "new to you". kinda like this is to me.

I am hoping that Judge Strickland will deny Lyon's motion to bar LP and his crew from talking/testifying (and that their LE interviews will be released according to the Sunshine Law).

It could be a big blow to the defense. There could be something that they learned while at the Anthony home, that a jury should hear.

On that last 911 call, Cindy sure did seem to mentally "lose it." But I think that her emotional state was more about "herself" rather that anything else. When I study her actions and statements from June 15th, I don't see her concern for Caylee. ...I can't get past the fact that she didn't even search TL's apt for Caylee, nor did she ask him if he knew where she was. Doesn't make any sense to me. All Cindy did was lash out and tell him that Casey was going to take all his money (or something like that).

hey, sun! i always thought the real "trigger" for the 911 call was that cindy got her latest credit card statement and realized that kc was stealing from her again - not any concern over caylee. my thought is bolstered a bit by her comment about "taking all his money".

Whatever the motivator, it was about controlling Casey and getting her to comply with her demands to see Caylee.

Casey had been using her CC forever and Cindy didn't care. As soon as Casey took off and left, Cindy should have cancelled that CC. Or reported it stolen when she couldn't find it.

Once the car was abandoned, Cindy had some things she could hang over Casey's head. Cindy is very controlling.

i'm wondering how the jury will feel when they hear that caylee and kc were "missing" for 31 days before any inquiries were made. g&c will paint themselves as loving, supportive parents and doting grandparents and the natural question (in my mind) would be - if that is so, why the frig did you wait so long to find out what was going on with your granddaughter?

how can you go from being totally supportive of your daughter and granddaughter - providing a place to live, being totally financially responsible, caring for your grandchild - to cold and uncaring in less time than it takes to change your socks?

Looking forward to getting home and catching up on everything.
I think Mark NeJames is one cool cookie. I wonder if C and G ever regret letting him go? Hardly any comparison to what they have now.

I love the way he strides up to the podium with ease. He was married to our best news anchor here, Wendy Chioji. She was awesome. A breast cancer survivor and athlete. She moved away. He then married some woman and their wedding was a spectacle in the newspapers. She flew to NY for her hair style etc. But, I still like him and his big ears. Well I still think my theory is the most likely. I hate to treat this like a game of Clue, but I say Casey did it, at the Anthony Home, by drowning her in the pool. I suspect GA did see them leave the morning of the 16th, she waited in the area of the home for GA to leave for work and came back to the house. Initially probably thought she could pass it off as an accidental drowning. I think Casey is basically lazy and what's easiest is probably what she did. If you're acting playful there are a lot of ways to get duct tape on a kid's face...they will think its part of a game. The pool ladder that day was not where it was left that morning. The duct tape kept Caylee from screaming. After the fact she'd realize she'd have to explain to her parents why she was home instead of working and wasn't supervising Caylee. Too much hassle. She probably laid the body a couple of different places in the yard to keep it out of sight while she got trash bags from the house to put the wet body in. When she realized she couldn't hide the body in the yard she got the laundry bag and put the body in the trunk as if it was clothing. As the body began to decompose she backed her car into the garage, got paper towels to try to clean up leaks and assess the situation. Tried borrowing a shovel in an attempt to bury the body but that was too hard. When opportunity availed itself she dumped the body where she buried dead things in the past - down the street. She probably put Tone's trash in the car in an attempt to "explain" the smell.

she didn't try very hard, did she?I really don;t think cindy or george eather one wanted to find casey and CAYLEE I think they both were glad they were out of the house for a while so they could have some peace and quite. I am sure if they keep CAYLEE 99% of the time they wanted casey to take over and let them rest but now cindy was working then and could not have keep her that much. maybe geroge did since he did not work much. casey just used the story she worked to get away from the house since her and george did not get along. casey also got away from CAYLEE witht the work story. Just makes me sick. I had to work when my children were babys and I would have given anything to have stayed home with them I still feel guilty now for now being here when they were small.jmho

Her efforts sure weren't productive. Or were they? I'm not quite sure that we know everything there is to know about what happened that night or even the next day. I still say that anyone doing yard work such as they did in that first week of July, in that humid/heat, is suspicious.

I agree with this. Cindy calling 911 was a power play by Cindy for Casey not telling her where Caylee was. She was more angry at Casey for avoiding and defying her than she was concerned about Caylee. Pathetic.

You have to keep in context that Cindy was fighting with George and they were on the brink of divorce. There was a lot of stress in that house from a lot of sources.

Your poor niece. That is just terrible!

What could Cindy have done to get Caylee from Casey? She WAS starting to threaten it, as Casey ramped up her partying, but what was she going to do about it? Call in DFC and possibly have the baby taken away. Drive Casey away to friends houses with Caylee, and then have no contact with her? I don't believe that for one minute that Cindy thought that Casey would KILL her. She was irresponsible and a liar and completely defiant against Cindy's wishes for her to grow up and take responsibility for her own child. But, Caylee BELONGED to Casey, in the eyes of the law.

I am no lover of Cindy. I think she is doing a terrible disservice to her family and everyone with this crazy charade, but in no way do I think she is as guilty as Casey of the murder of her cherished granddaughter.

She continues to coddle Casey, which caused this whole problem in the first place, unfortunately.

I guarantee you that there are young grandmothers everywhere that play more of a role than they should in the raising of the children of their irresponsible teenage children. It is all too common place these days. Many of my friends in their 40-50's have babies in their houses and the mom's are going out for "girl's night" while grandma takes on the role of parent.

But if Casey had been telling Cindy that she and Caylee were out of town, and those CC charges proved otherwise... then Cindy would likely have been very very angry. You are right about Cindy and control.

Agreed! A cesspool of lies come from Casey's mouth though. She would have came up with some stupid answer, if asked. Just like she told George she was coming from Tampa to Orlando to get Zanny's insurance card. Knowing that her parents don't exactly call her on anything. She would have appeased Cindy in some way.

Equally, Cindy is a big liar. She has given different answers as to where she thought Casey and Caylee were. They were in J'Ville, they were in Tampa. All along knowing that Lee found her hanging right there in Orlando.

A guy like that has got to have charisma.

When Caylee went missing the Anthony's marriage was in trouble. George hadn't been working and was just going back to work and wouldn't be around days to babysit. If the parents did split up money to support Caylee was going to get a whole lot tighter. And we all know Casey was too busy with her social life to consider getting a real job to pick up the slack! With their marriage is in that much trouble Cindy and George were probably not as focused on Casey and Caylee as they may have been earlier in Caylee's life. I think Casey saw the writing on the wall that Caylee was going to become her problem soon so she handled her "problem" like the sociopath she is.

There are several things I am looking forward to in this trial and one of them is this:

To hear the prosecutors ask cindy to explain her question to casey the night the 911 call was placed. lee said she asked her "what did you do"

and

why after arriving home with the car, did she and george look underneath Caylee's little playhouse and search their sheds.

There are so many things here for a good prosecutor to work with and I think Linda Drane-Burk is just the woman to do it.

Thanks B., that's Kathy Belich's station!!! :seeya:

I agree and this goes to my theory that the problems between Cindy and George was the catalyst for this murder. I think they feel responsible on some level because they were busy fighting with each other instead of dealing with Casey and Caylee. I think that's why they are now such a tight tag-team and trying beyond all reason to show they are there for their daughter.

Re-doing pavers under Caylee's playhouse is more than just "tidy" word in my mind. Seem odd to be doing, considering Caylee hadn't even been living at their home for over two weeks. And the cadaver dog had a hit in that area beside the playhouse. You are so very right, some people do clean when under some type of stress.

I have been wondering just where Casey could have gone to do all this to Caylee and not one person seen her, her car or anything in or out of the neighborhood.

Ladies and Gentlemen, for the past year + I have been lurking while working. For some reason, today I was compelled to register. I have enjoyed all of your insights and comments very much. Please bear with me while I figure this out.

Isn't there or wasn't there an eye witness who claims to have seen Casey in a parking lot of a hotel on or about 6/15?

Good morning. Welcome!

Lenny Padilla is the only source I've heard this information from. Haven't seen anything in discovery. So the answer is...only Lenny knows for sure..

Cindy and George do appear somewhat excited and doing a bit of chatting, glancing at camera, and such. Defense is still MIA.

Hi kiddlets! I'm watching so won't be posting til later-

agree with you boxer, that Casey looks thinner,

George to me looks very uncomfortable before she entered, but I didn't tune in til about 8:32 am (central) time

I noticed that Casey didn't bother to glance towards her parents direction.

I also thought it was nice that Nejame wants to be there for his daughter's first day of school

I do wonder how George feels hearing the Defense call Caylee
"remains"

maybe that only bothers him when the State or ZFG's attys call it that.

It has been my understanding not sure where I learned this, but that that area was underwater at the time EQ would have been searching, and if so, would there be any evidence that her body was underwater for some period of time??
