The whole Obama debacle reminds me of a late night infomercial. They shamelessly hawk an inferior product making it seem like it is something unique and too good to be true. Susceptible people buy it and then when it arrives at the home, they find out it isn't doesn't measure up to the hype.

She's a little late to that party. Many of us pointed that out early in the elections. Obama has never actually done anything of substance in his entire life, but run for office.

What really caught my attention was the caption under the title "Obama turns out to be brilliant at becoming, not being, president". Seems the only thing that Obama can run successfully is a campaign. Since he has spent most of his political career running for the next office he wants to hold, that would seem to fitting. And while we have been told numerous times by certain blogs, apparently, the Republican party doesn't have to find a leader and get their act together, per the author of the article, "The Obama White House has done the near impossible: It has united the Republican Party." I left the Republican party a few years ago (now an Independent) but the Party of Tax and Spend has got me cowering from their side more than I cowered from the Republican Party. We need representation from the middle and the way the Party of Tax and Spend is acting, they are making the far right look more centered, lol!!
Paraphrasing "The Republican party doesn't have to find a leader and get their act to together. The Obama admin has done the impossible, It has united the Republican party" Now that is a hoot. I am not a fan of Peggy Noonan and in my opinion, she is mainly irrevelant but think she is right on this point. Like Nancy Pelosi the Left Wing always goes a bridge to far, in my opinion. Loved they are "shoulder to shoulder at the barracides". :laugh:

Graduating from an Ivy League school is not a great accomplishment...I mean GWB graduated from Yale :rolleyes:. And he was a US senator for 4 months when he started campaigning for President. He is a do nothing and that is becoming glaringly clearer daily. He can only blame Bush for so long and that time is quickly passing.

He is feckless and inexperienced and those of us who warned before the election are not happy to be saying "I told you so" so quickly.

If the future of the Republic didn't hang in the balance, the :tonguewag: would be quite enjoyable....but it's not.

Bush got into college on his daddy's connections, not his own merit. He was a total failure as a student, his speeches are proof positive.
As for President Obama:
As long as he doesn't lead us into another war I'm good.
As long as he doesn't wire tap my phone, I'm good.
As long as he doesn't ignore the lower class I'm also good.

The nay sayers are full of sour grapes because he was elected.
Experience has nothing to do with being President, otherwise george w would not have ever taken office.
People do not want President Obama to succeed for personal reasons.
My suggestion is: Suck it up for the next 8 years, we had to do as much when the past was in power.

Actually, George W. graduated from Yale with a C average and got his MBA from Harvard University (that ain't chopped liver). And George W. was a Governor for 8 years in Texas and not a three year Senator who spent the first 2 and a half years running for President. George W. ran a State and neither Obama or Biden (who I adore) ran a popsicle stand. At least, George W. could talk "down home" without electronic aid and I always enjoyed his speeches.
