WYMT-TV in Hazard, Kentucky, aired a report on McConnell and health care, showing McConnell telling constituents that he opposes the health care proposal. The reporter then says…“The Republican leader says he has not read all 1000 pages of the proposal, but says he knows enough about it, saying it will put health care in the government’s hands, and create significant cuts to Medicare to pay the trillion dollar bill over ten years.”

I may be wrong but there is no full bill, it's in committees, or being negotiated, and several suggetions and pieces. It's in the works, it's a draft.... I'm waiting til we see what makes it in or out. There is so much mis information out there like death panels, and $ for abortion etc -- all untrue. Congress critters are picking and choosing the proposals they like or do not like and talking about it. What comes out of the final conference is what citizens need to focus on.

If it's so in a state of flux and nobody really knows nuthin' then how can you be so absolutely sure what it is that you think is in it?

BO hasn't read it, evidently. Maybe he's the Master of Misinformation.

Quite!!!!!

How can anyone even say this is what we need-- if it is in a state of flux and no one is sure what will be in the final verson? Simply amazing!!!

It's obvious that not all of the people that voted for BO are liking his plans. Just measure his favorables from Jan. to August.

Wow, I had not seen any poll numbers that low yet, wow. This strongarming and statements such as he made when in Mexico ( basically saying America will be happy we decided to do this for them) is not paying off.

"When all is said on health care reform, the American people are going to be glad that we acted to change an unsustainable system so that more people have coverage," Obama said

I know I said it before but I will say it again. America is here, she and her people exist because American's did not like being told what to do.
