Sally is approx. 1 year old- and a cutie! Hoping she finds a home soon.

The dog had been hit on Buckshutem Road in Millville by a driver who didn't stop. Fortunately, Cindy Hepner, a photographer with The News of Cumberland County, witnessed the incident and stopped to help the animal. She called animal control and made certain it would take the dog to a veterinarian.

Quack's Corner contacted Pets With Disabilities, a rescue for disabled dogs, and learned Sally is an excellent candidate for a dog wheelchair. The organization plans to help Quack's Corner and secure one made especially for Sally.

A special home is being sought for Sally, either from local applicant or through Pets With Disabilities. In the meantime, Quack's Corner seeks donations to purchase a custom-made wheelchair for Sally and to care for her until an adoptive home can be found.

Contributions to Quack's Corner are tax-deductible and may be sent to: Quack's Corner, P.O. Box 12, Shiloh, NJ 08353. Contributions may also be made through PayPal, with the contribution designated to quackscorner@comcast.net. For more information, go online to www.quackscorner.petfinder.com.
