We have a tradition of writing Brian a message of our current doing, attaching it to a ballon and releasing it to the heavens. We publish a Happy Birthday in the paper on his birth date. We started at 22 and now at 49. We have a Mass at my youngest Church.

I know that anniversaries and birthdays can be bittersweet-

may your precious memories of him always outweigh the sad ones.
