North Las Vegas, Nevada - On Sunday, August 9, 2009, North Las Vegas Detectives arrested Kenneth Reid (20) of North Las Vegas for the murder of 8-year-old Savanah Bullins. Savanah died of gunshots she suffered while inside her father's second floor apartment at 2112 Sun Avenue on June 12, 2009.

Savanah was shot by suspects who fired through the wall into the apartment from the ground outside. Investigators believe Savanah's father, Wilbert Bullins (27) was the intended target of the gunfire in a dispute over drugs.

but there would be no profit motive for crime lords and such, how much drug money goes to terrorists? the war on drugs doesn't help matters any, it only makes them worse, the same crimes you refer to exist today, the drugs are readily available to anyone that wants them, so what exactly is the war on drugs accomplishing?

Good point. In some countries, drug addicts can be prescribed their drugs by a dr and get them from the government which takes away the need to rob and steal to afford them. One of the medications I take is also used as a "street drug". I pay about 15 cents per pill for something that is sold on the street for $15-$20. Mine is prescribed by a dr so I get it at a pharmacy.
I know people whose lives have been ruined by drugs so I have mixed feelings about this. What I do know is that the War on Drugs is not working.
