Oh, no! I'm just not that talented. I'm so sorry if I gave that impression.

I have a great little add on to my firefox called "stumble". You tell it the things you're interested in, and it seeks them out for you on the internet. It's found me some really neat stuff I'd never even think to look up.

Oh, don't be sorry! I just wanted you to know how nice it is if you had been the one who wrote the words and so forth. It's very touching and beautiful. My DH seems to remember it being about 10 yrs. ago that the house burned & photo was taken, and the dog later had five puppies.

Where is Noah's Ark this weekend?

Isn't that the BEST kinda kiss ever??

I've been busy with a sick kitten. Willow has Coccidia. She got her big girl shots on Monday and I thought she was droopy from those shots, but then she stopped eating and started looking kinda skinny.

Off we went to the vet - she's got medicine and Nutri-Cal. I have to syringe her water.

Between Monday and today she lost 1-lb. That's a lot for a kitty. :(

That's what has the vet baffled - Willow hasn't been around ANY animals except for the ones in this house.

She's asked one of the vet techs to contact the people that adopted Willow's brothers - to make sure they're okay.

I'm sure she'll be fine - Nurse Noah is on duty!

How sweet is that? OMGosh - I need to print up that picture!!

P.S. To everyone to sent Kitty Prayers - Willow is much better this morning. She got her medicine and then started eating. She ate a good amount and then drank some water, so I'd say she's on her way to recovery.

But the vet said "no playing" and to keep her quiet, so she's kinda grounded for awhile. :tonguewag:

Thank the heavens!!

So, did the vet give you any advice on how to keep a feeling better kitten "quiet" short of sedation? lol Good luck with that!

They once told me to keep my kitten quiet, no jumping, climbing, or leaping - I pretty much laughed right in their faces. It's a kitten! That's what they do! Two little neuron's in their heads, one to keep them moving at top speed, the other to pick out the cutest trouble they can get into.

LOL - no, the vet laughed when she said it.

But we have "Sick Bay" here....it's our bedroom. I have a litter box, kitty beds, food & water in there. Then I shut the door and check on her about every 5 minutes.

She can be with us in the family room if she's sitting in our lap. She's still not wanting to run around too much, but when she gets antsy, back to "Sick Bay" she goes!! :tonguewag:

Well I think Faith is pretty gosh darn awsome!! Pictures at the link.

http://acidcow.com/pics/1176-faith-a-bipedal-female-dog...-10-pics.html

Faith, a bipedal female dog, was born in December 2002 with only three legs; two fully-developed hind legs and a deformed front leg, which was amputated when she was 7 months old after it began to atrophy. Her owner, Jude Stringfellow, adopted Faith when the mother dog was found trying to smother the deformed puppy-- her son rescued the puppy and brought her home. Many people, including veterinarians, advised that Faith be euthanized. Instead, using a spoon with peanut butter as an incentive, Jude taught Faith to hop but Faith decided on her own to walk; the family's corgi would bark at Faith from another room, or nip her heels to urge her to walk.

Gary...............every furbaby who's ever owned me, found me when I wasn't looking for them. I'm sorry, so deeply sorry for the loss of your loving friend and companion.
