Someone brought this up over on OC regarding my thread about an old TV movie called "The Rape of Richard Beck". I remember that story - IIRC, it was in the Deep South - and haven't heard any more about it.
He targeted straight men, which put an interesting spin on this story.
Does anyone remember this story, was the rapist caught, and what's happened since?

I believe you're recalling the Baytown TX serial rapist. He was caught:

After deliberating for almost five hours, jurors sentenced Keith Hill to imprisonment for the maximum term of 99 years and assessed the maximum fine of $10,000.
Not detailing any part of the crimes since I can't be certain what the moderator considers "sick".
When threads are deleted before you see them, based on that scale, it's rather difficult to figure out what that scale is.

I'm guessing that "sick" is more about prurient interest than anything else. This is, after all, a true crime board.
And I'm glad this monster was caught before he killed anyone.

lol, but is it the monster you were thinking of? or did I get it wrong?
Yes, I know, true crime board, but apparently some articles are too "sick" to post, per the moderator. Since she hasn't shared her definition of the term or how it applies in this context & she deleted the threads she was talking about before they could be read........
I think I'll just go back to reading rather then trying to read minds since the threat to ban was anything but vague.
