Cesar Lauren's scheduled appearance for July 20, has been continued. A tentative trial date is set for March 2010. The defense is trying to get a change of venue.


Lauren is accused of 1st degree murder of Maria Lauterbach. He also faces charges of fraud and robbery with a dangerous weapon for stealing and using Maria's ATM card.

I believe that Cesar Laurean is in Onslow County jail. I think I heard that Christina and her child went to live with her sister in the area.

Thank you so much. Have they set a trial date for him yet? I don;t know why it takes so very long to try people these days. I feel so sorry for his little girl I don;t remember how old she will be now but I know she may not understand what is going on with her dad. Maybe the truth will come out at trial but then it may never be known. I am waiting on casey anthony to go to trial too and it is taken forever. Thank you for telling me where he is. I just don't get any news on this case now. Maybe I will if and when it ever goes to trial. I will keep watching for any new on him.thanks again.jmho:wub:

They have issued a gag order, so there is very little news. His trial date has been continued. IIRC, Laurean's daughter would probably be about 3 or 4 years old now. It is always the children who get hurt the worst, isn't it?

Yes it is always the children that get hurt. She is not old enought to understand why her daddy is not with her right now. They seemed to be close in the pictures I seen of her and her dad togeather. I guess I will never understand why young people don;t know there is other things they can do besides kill each other over other people or what ever. It always hurts so many people. Both famileys or hurting now. now her and her baby is gone and no bringing them back and I know the pain is so awful for both familys. jmho
