Hi All,
I don't post much and usually post on the alcoholism thread. I know asking for prayers and good thoughts have worked for other posters so I thought I would give it a try.
My BIL is in ICU in stable but critical condition. He went in for a procedure on Saturday and when they put him under his blood pressure bottomed out. They aren't even sure yet what the problem is and they are going to try and do the same procedure today since he is sedated and stable. He is a stand up guy and he and my sister have been together since she was 13. He is 46 years old and I have know him for 30 + years.
I am heading to the hospital in a bit and don't know when I will be able to post or reply but PLEASE, help us out.
Thanks,
Wooster

Thanks everyone,
His condition has not changed except that some of his readings/numbers are better. They did a lung biopsy yesterday but could not do as much as they wanted because when they took the ventilator off his oxygen would drop too low. We are waiting for the culture to come back and go from there, hopefully tomorrow.
He has been having problems breathing/getting air/ short of breath for a bit and went for allergy tests/ asthma tests/ bronchitus and phenominia. Nothing showed up.
He had xrays and a cat scan Friday and nothing showed up there either. That is why they tried the biopsy on Saturday which ended him up where he is.
I don't know if this is a major lung infection, cancer, or who knows.
Just keep thinking about them please.
Thanks
Wooster

Oh wow sarcoidosis can be very dangerous. Sending prayers and positive thoughts that he will be up and about in no time.

Thanks Everyone for the prayers and good thoughts, it seems to be working wonders. Keep them coming though, he still has a long road ahead of him, but he is a tough cookie and will do just fine.
