Last night on LMN there was a movie about Karla Homolka and her husband. It made Karla look like a victim. Does anyone know anything about this movie? Who wrote it. Did Karla have any say in it?

Karla is NO VICTIM what-so-ever and got off way too easy.... she should be rotting for as long as her POS husband is..... she gave up her rights to being a victim when she offered up her sister and participated in her rape and could care less that this poor girl died.......

There is a lot of sh*t on her..... the only person who sees her as a victim is herself.

What you said Museumgirl! It's nauseating that Homolka is free, married and a mom now. She was NOT a victim - she was a willing and delighted participant in the crimes and imo, she should never have been let out of prison.

Wow, that movie was very disturbing! I tried to cut away, but kept coming back. It literally made me feel ill. They did a good job of portraying the evil in those people.

I don't know a lot about this couple, however, I read enough a few years ago to know that after all the facts came in, they regretted having made a deal with her. I kept thinking how guilty the movie made her look. Perhaps my mine was already made up. I thought it portrayed her as a heartless, cruel, participant in the crimes and not a helpless victim. That woman is not a normal human. She comes from some very dark place. She may proclaim she is a normal wife and mother now, but I don't buy it. She is bad to the bone.

I'm surprised that when very mean people like her are paroled, that friends or family of the victim(s) don't hire a hit man to take them out. Seriously, I am surprised it isn't done. Wasn't there a show about that once. I can't recall the name of it. A Dexter type. LOL.

It's sickening.

Would any of us recognize her if she crossed our paths? Isn't that the most frightening thought imaginable?

Even more disturbing is she could disguise herself, assume a new identity, move into the same community the murders took place, and nobody would ever know who she was.

When she decided to stay in Quebec after her release, her neighbours had no idea until a reporter started stalking her and warning the neighbours. She even had the nerve to complain that she was mistreated at the hospital where she gave birth.

Needless to say, she didn't last very long in Quebec. She flew off to the Caribbean somewhere where she and her hubby and child could live happily ever after......

or not.

I can understand what you're saying about wanting to take justice in to your own hands. When I read about the murders of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom - I wonder how their parents control themselves, but I guess they just learn to control their rage about it.

Remember when everyone said that OJ wouldn't live a month after he was acquitted - and he was walking around free for years - unharmed.

I agree that Karla should NOT be free. She definitely was a willing participant and a total sicko.. It is unbelievable that she is roaming around free. Is she still in the West Indies (Antilles, was it?)???

I know she got tired of her privacy being invaded and people finding out where she lived/worked in Canada.. so she packed up and moved to another country - those poor people are probably totally clueless about her background.
