is repeated twice. Was Casey feeling bad for what she did and justifying it by remembering the words spoken? What words? Words from Cindy? Words spoken in the heat of the alleged argument on July 15?
Trust no one, Only yourself.
Casey felt someone had betrayed her?
With great power, Comes great consequence.
What power? Did she think motherhood was a great power?
What is given, Can be taken away.
Casey gave Caylee life and Casey took it away?
Everyone lies. Everyone dies.
Caylee was not even 3 years old. Did Casey think Caylee had lied? Did Caylee tell Grandma Cindy a story about Mommy? Or are these 2 lines directed at her parents?
Life will never be easy.
Life is full of challenges and responsibilities. Something Casey never had to face ...... until Cindy called LE to report Caylee missing.
Hold your head high. Smile. Love unconditionally. Tomorrow is a brand new day.
Casey trying to convince herself she has done no wrong? Yesterday is behind her and she should not look back?

weren't a few of those lines taken from some song lyrics- recall how NG mentioned some band, and then the band had to go on their website and say hey- we aren't responsible for Casey doing anything to her child kind of comment?
it's possible that what she wrote is gleaned from several top 40 songs being played on the radio during the time- but the "love unconditionally" stood out like a sore thumb to me- something Cindy has said for the past year

I wonder if she had been self-sufficient, or at least helping to pay some of the household expenses, if Cindy would've loosened the leash a bit with her- I got the impression that Cindy was keeping track of Casey's every move- almost stalking her by checking out her internet habits/postings, sending "scouts" out to see if she was working at the locations she said she was, the dictating who is "allowed" at the home, etc.
It seems that Cindy was this controlling prior to Caylee's birth.

agree Sun- I think Cindy was a bean counter but likely had to be, but maybe was so obnoxious about it that the resentment went both ways-or 3 ways- C, G and KC.
Also, seems like a lot of griping but no action- if your kid is a thief and a continual one- but you're not willing to kick them out of your house (because of the grandbaby) then why not take further measures that she can't get her grubby hands on your accounts/cards-
get a PO box and have the statements sent there
get a small combination safe for the home to lock up your wallet, checks, cash in when they aren't on your person
opt out of getting all the cc offers sent by mail in your name
run credit checks to make sure no "new" cards have been issued w/ your name or SS#
let the bank know you're changing who has authorization on your account/s
I mean geeze, if one can be so diligent in other areas of your life, heck, add that to the high priority list as well.

I always thought this referenced the power she had over Cindy, knowing how much Cindy loved Caylee. Casey had the power to give Cindy what she wanted and to take it (her--Caylee) away. Good morning all,
You are right...I think it was obvious When you have a child like that, you must take precautions....No precautions were taken at all to protect little Caylee, even had Cindy never thought it would come to murder, she should have, at the very least, known that Caylee would be neglected while with her.....That is where Cindy should have taken some sort of control....
Instead, I believe that Cindy was trying to show hard love in pushing Casey to be a mother (which she should have known was never going to happen)....Cindy's first step should have been to make sure that Casey was really working to support her child....If Casey didn't want to name the father and get some support then the very least Cindy should have done was to insure that her daughter was financially able to support her daughter....
This family enabled Casey to turn out the way she did....I truly doubt that they ever thought that it would come to this...Unfortunately it did...and an innocent child had to pay with her life because Cindy and George refused to lay the law down for Casey....they are still protecting her even after murdering Caylee....
George and Cindy are the ones who needed parenting classes.....I know of a family who is doing the same thing with their child and this child is spoiled to no end....some people just don't get it, until it's too late....

My (unsolicited ) opinion on this is that Cindy and George had agreed to help Casey with Caylee IF Casey did her share, and we all know she didn't. I think Cindy and George agreed to pay for things, make sure Caylee was taken are of as far as doctors visits, etc., put a roof over their heads and food in the house for them but again, only if Casey did her share. Whether Cindy was 'controlling' or not I don't know, I suppose she probably was, but I guess I can understand why. Would you want to do all of this for your grown daughter if all she did was party and sleep all day? I wouldn't, and I think that's why Cindy was talking about getting custody of Caylee, she was already taking care of her pretty much full time (regardless of what she says- I really believe this to be the truth).

Just wondered then why Cindy would feel the need to continue to wash bedding from Caylee's room during the time that she was "bonding" and on "work assignments" with her mom and "being watched by the nanny" etc. Unless she just likes doing laundry.

IIRC, the dogs were sleeping on Caylee's bed because they missed her so much. Apparently Yorkies can't smell very well, or they would have been on Casey's bed where Caylee slept.

btw- didn't Cindy in her interviews (Greta) say that usually Caylee slept in Casey's room most of the nights?

I'd like to know more about Caylee's sleeping habits also. And, if this was an issue that caused fights between Cindy and Casey.
That baby crib coverted like it was, just seemed awfully inadequate and small for a toddler, and if I had to guess, I'd say that Caylee never slept in it overnight.

Greta: This is Casey's room. And you told me that Caylee oftentimes slept with her mother, right?
Cindy: Oh, she -- almost every -- every night, she slept in here, from the time she was born.
Greta: This is how the room is pretty much...
Cindy: This is how the room is always.
Greta: And this is...
Cindy: Except for Caylee's toys usually being on bed, a blanket, some stuffed animals, those kind of things.

If Cindy was indeed laundering the bedding from Caylee's crib, then she must have thought that it needed it. Chances are, those yorkies in the Anthony home could have been "dirtying it up" in some way.

Plus Cindy had to launder it a few times so it didn't look too new. I suspect her compulsive cleaning started about june 16. The house was simply too cluttered for a true clean freak.

Someone had suggested that Cindy was trying to make the blanket look older and more worn, because it may have been a brand new replacement.

I see your point Ellie-
howevah....things we don't know- is Cindy the type of person that thinks "if you want something done right you have to do it yourself"?
Meaning- no one in the family can do anything "properly" or to her liking- maybe they all tried to do their share of cooking, cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, etc. and it is met with-
'no, fold it like this, put the plates this way in the dishwasher, coasters are angled in this direction, I never buy WhiteCloud wth were you thinking'....
or- can she give up some control and say- well, let her stinky clothes pile up on the floor, I'll just do the baby's clothes
or- does she really believe that nagging works for anybody over the age of 5? (show of hands- does it?)
was there a barter system set up? - 'm'kay, I pay for everything and I do all the chores and you do all our PC and 'net stuff and dig up the bamboo'
imo- I don't know if Casey ever learned gratitude she was beholden to everyone, whereas I don't like to be in that situation, or at least not for long.
I knew that everything my mom did for me, she did it with love, not resentment, or as a martyr, or with bitterness- and I don't see many similarities of my beloved mother and Cindy Anthony.
imo
Doesn't that tell us such a lot about Casey? While her friends were out working to make their way in the world, Casey was out prettying herself with THEIR MONEY! How totally selfish............
Sheesh, if the jury only hears 1/4 of the things Casey has done they will find her guilty! Can you imagine when Casey's "friends" take the stand??!
Stick a fork in her, she is DONE!!

(about dogs- we've got 2 that are about 50 lbs. each and they sleep on our bed, every now and then I do change the "fur sheets", lol- but apparently I don't launder them as frequently as Cindy does the bed that her granddaughter apparently never slept in)

I guess that I just have never thought that anyone would have purchased a replacement blanket. Ususally, anyone with a baby/toddler in the house, will have more than one blanket.... easily they could have had more than one WTP blanket. There sure seemed to be lots of stuff in that house for Caylee.
I have to keep reminding myself that Cindy lies. Lies about lots of stuff.

Rev. Grund told LE they started watching Caylee after Lauren stopped watching Caylee.
Now she had no babysitter for Caylee and she's supposedly working at Kodak, at Universal....This is March, April and part of May '06.
Jesse gave up his only day off from Progressive and watched her on Mondays. Then it got to the point where somebody in the Grund house wathced her three days out of the week. Rev. Grund began pressing Casey about "have you found anybody yet". Casey told Rev. Grund she had it worked out. She found a lady named Zenaida Gonzalez and she watches my friend Jeffery Hopkins son Zachaery...

It would be great if they were prevented from watching the "live stream" that we all will be watching.
IMO, by the time that this case goes to trial, George's testimony will be that he "doesn't recall." I expect that the State may play several "clips" of sworn statements. George won't be cooperating in any way, unless it is when he is answering questions from the defense.

Inquiring minds want to know about Lee's receipts notions and what happened to them in the LE notations.
Lee's handwritten notes Page 1
http://flawebhosting.net/docs092308/la092308.pdf
He writes 7/12 $92.62 & 7/15 $88.45
LE's notations on Page 3
http://www.orlandosentinel.com/media/acrobat/2009-04/46009131.pdf
On this page there is no 7/12 & no $88.45. On 7/15 LE notes $92.62.

Good mornong Desmon...
I read all your posts in the day along with the rest of them and always get a good insight into what I have not looked at or seen. Excellent and so informative. I can't keep up during the day with the rest of you so I read since I know a lot less than y'all do.
In any event, Just my opinion but I think the prosecutors are fully aware of Cindy attempting to prepare George for a lot of question that will be asked. She probably has had a mock trial already in her living room.:sneaky:
She seems to think she knows just about everything the legal system knows. Remember she's a doctor, lawyer and Indian chief.
I have had enough experience in the court room however to know all the ways an attorney will ask the witness questions so I don't think all of Cindy's great attempts to prepare George will do them any good. They not only ask the question but they stay on the question and continue to ask it in 3-4 different ways til they get the answer they are looking for.
Cindy will be on pins and needles OUTSIDE that courtroom. Then they will get home after the first time up on the stand and if George screws anything up he will buy time til Cindy looks at the paper or listens to the news media.
George and Cindy (I predict) will divorce when this is all over with. Cindy and George will be going at it thru the media. The media they hate!
That's just what I see ahead.'

Between 0:13:32 - 0:37:38 someone from the Anthony home called Casey's cell phone 8 times. Each call was followed by Casey calling her Voice Mail.
The next call from the Anthony home to Casey's phone was at 7:14:23 and was 3 minutes in length. Casey returned the call at 8:01:25 and was 22 minutes in length.
The last call from the Anthony home to Casey was made at 20:52:31 followed by Casey calling her Voice Mail.

How many times do you think Cindy will try to do a repeat of picture #24?

I knew that everything my mom did for me, she did it with love, not resentment, or as a martyr, or with bitterness- and I don't see many similarities of my beloved mother and Cindy Anthony.
imo
I totally see your point too... unfortunately it's tough to say what went on before all this. Know what I mean?

If cindy acts like she did with morgan she will be thrown out of the court room. She got away with a lot with him and so did george and george will be thrown out to. c and g can;t tell the lawyers what to ask or how to answer. They both played their own game with morgan but it is not going to work in the court room. I think the judge know casey did this and he is not going to put up with any silly stuff. He don;t like jb from what I have seen. I have not read everything but what I have keep up with tells me casey killed Caylee and if she did then she needs to pay for what she did to Caylee she had done nothing to cause casey to kill her. o/t I just heard on the news where a snake killed a 2 year old and they or going to bring charges against the man that owned the snake and maybe the mother. I think they need to charge both of them.It is our job to take care of children and keep bad things from happening to them. It makes me so mad that people have a darn old snake in their house.another child is lost before her time.jmho:cursing::cursing:

Morning, In the beginning of the case (first 2-3 wks.) posters were discussing many things about the A's yard. GA putting a dangerous lime on the yard (he bought far to much for a season considering it wasn't even the right time in the Fla. sun). Then folks starting discussing bamboo, and the elusive pavers that seemed to be missing. After the discovery of Caylee, I went to my local Fred Meyer store, purchased a peach colored paver, put it on the side of my house in an area that doesn't drain well and builds up becomming sludgey. The Paver is now white colored. This could be from different soil, plants, climate change (Pacific Northwest) amount of acidity in soil ect... I'm repeating my experiment by placing a new peach paver in th wetland on June 15, 2009 and we'll see if it turns white by the time of the anniversary of Caylee being found. I know this isn't an accurate experiment, but it does go to show their color can alter while in the elements. This could make CA's remark in the depos not a factual statement about her statement of peach color vs. white. I'll let you know what changes occur.

When I first read the diary of days it sent a cold chill through my body.I still feel that chill.I thought with great power come consequences meant that Cindy got the power she wanted, but she had to pay the consequences ie Caylee's death. To me the message said "see what happens when you push your power too much"JMO
I agree with your interpretation. I think the power that has great consequences is Cindy's power. Cindy, being the only breadwinner to speak of in that family, held all the power. Casey depended completely upon Cindy's support financially.
"On the worst of days, Remember the words spoken," I believe is Casey's way of telling Cindy, when she learns what she's done to Caylee, that she should remember the words she spoke to Casey (probably during their fight).
"What is given, Can be taken away," I believe is Casey telling Cindy that she, Casey, had given Caylee to Cindy (Caylee is Cindy's 2nd daughter). And since Caylee was a gift, Casey could also take the gift away.
IMO, the rest of the "diary" is self-explanatory. This was her answer to Cindy's myspace posting on July 3rd.

I found these additons of hearts troubling and remarks of admission through song & poems a giveaway of a possible death at that time. My early career was with adolescents on an im-patient, locked psychiatric unit. KC has seemed to behave as an adolescent with some psychopathy, obviously. Her shamrock fixation had me looking up the word shamrock, meaning: She shamrocked you" Before this case I had forgotten this term was used for someone committing a con.
That's just what I see ahead.'
jmo
Your post is a good one and I too predict a divorce when this is all over...I think that George being hooked up with "Kid Finders" found away to make money to get away from Cindy, probably as far as he can get....Although I find it dispicable that this family is making money off the untimely death of their granddaughter by the hands of their daughter.....

Sounds like a nice dream! Maybe fitted with a shocker collar, and zapped every time she answers a question with a lie.
Seeing as we're dreaming, can we CrazyGlue Cindy's mouth shut too?

Just a heads up since we've had so many new posters this week (which is a good thing).
Sometime this evening you'll find the Caylee board locked.
This happens on holiday weekends. Just go to the Weekend Board and look for the Caylee Thread. Someone will start it.

(Coldwater has an explanation there about the weekend boards.)
Because the board will be closed for the holiday, I posted the One year ago today..July 3, 4, 5 & 6 in the links thread.

Naw, Cindy's mouth is going to help convict Casey. But, I've been re-listening/re-watching old interviews of Cindy today, so your dream sure sounds good to me!

I reached full saturation about 2 nanoseconds after his death was announced. Yet they go on and on and on and on and on.........
Ditto!! I think my saturation level was reached at 1 nanosecond after his death. I never cared for MJ's kind of music in the first place, and I literally detest his kind of vulgar dancing. And now to escape that vulgar dancing, I have to either turn off the tv or watch a black & white cowboy movie on the Western channel. Yeccchhh! How long is this coverage going to last?

Something tells me that if Cindy can have a refrigerator with rotting food that smells like human decomp, she probably was not much of a housekeeper.
She's not much of a truth-teller either. Unless she had a decomposing human in her refrigerator it's not going to smell like human decomp -- no matter what kind of rotten housekeeper she is.

Lurker coming out.. Just got in and I'm trying to catch up on my reading so maybe someone has already posted this (which is what usually happens) (Great minds think alike LOL) The "lime" !!!!! When my son was little we had 2 chickens and we would to put "LIME" under the cage so it wouldn't SMELL!!!!!
Anyone else heard of this????
Thanks always for all your GREAT posts.
Here are the last couple of entries on the Clerk of Courts records for the Civil Case. Did we know that Morgan was going to be deposing Lazzaro?

All while her daughter is missing.
To correct you poor caylee was already murdered by this point and yet casey couldnt care less about what she did to her. And her stupid mother was on vacation not even caring about her daughter or granddaughter. The anthony family is one very uncaring family. They dont care for nothing but about themselves. Caylee never had a chance to grow up with that family. Casey should of gave caylee up for adoption even if she wasnt gonna care for her. Nope the b$$ch instead has to murder her to free herself of her albatross.

These are the lyrics. After I read that Casey played this song repeatedly while she was home on bond, I read the lyrics and putting them into the context of this situation, very creepy to say the least. :crying:

I really had not been paying much attention to it because I was following another case... and then I just happened to see Cindy doing an interview on some channel on TV. And they were replaying the first jailhouse calls where Cindy is all "sweetheart", and I was like - oh my, evil resides in this house. JMO
ETA: I should add that Cindy has light-colored eyes, but there is a darkness to them, like a vacancy. I remember some poster from Florida said she met them at their donation tent, and said the same thing - that Cindy's eyes were blank - there was nothing there. JMO
